Transcript

And Friday. Well, we are live on Friday. This is already the data Queen. Joined by Jesse the money Whisperer. And hazelnut Rallis I'm back, we survived was the Sun supposed to fall on us. What I want to know is, did you both see the the totality that you both travel? I did. Yeah. No, I did not go out. This is, this is not my thing. I like to Bunker down during a Clemson. Are you afraid? Do you have consciously astrologist? Say, no, I just it just not. To take away the sun. I don't know. It's just not a take it away. She doesn't want to experience. It's not technically night. It did get actually I will disagree it. Got you for it where I was just not get me at all. It's got you Fork? So you went out. You had your glasses. We went to Quebec to a national park and I don't think I've, I don't remember the last time I've witnessed four minutes of more Euphoria. It was like, it was like, we were all basically hugging like, like a hundred people, it was weird. It was just wanted to Canada. It was, it was crazy anyway. Okay, I just wanted to know. That's awesome. Well today we have exhausting of the week back, right? Just I changed me so I know. I'm sorry felt like it was gonna be too much. He's been away Jesse's been away doing better things, traveling the world and she forgot how depressing a lot of stories. Really are that? Yeah. Oh these are the news. They're not necessarily good. Hose. Oh, All right, so we're gonna do story of the weekly list of the week. Are we gonna read asshole east of the week? I collected a few? Yeah, I did. I honor of assholes, I did. I collected some because our lead analyst told Matt was Hardy is still away for the eclipse? Yes, I will try to go quickly on as holy is the week, so I'll spare everyone's feeling. All right, well let's start, let's start. Here we go, come on. I'm already bad at this. Trying just here Maps dialogue. Yeah. All right, here we go. Straight away. First one is easy. I, whatever one's forgetting is. Well, I guess it was technically Sunday night. It's still qualifies as our week, the women's NCAA Championship Game, the whole March Madness, the whole tournament. I mean what more can I say really? I feel like everyone's heard the stories are already, but the rating's crushing the men, the new, a new dawn of women's sports, just a Transcendent moment, really? It's all I can think to say, I did you watch it or were you in Canada and they didn't, okay, I'm gonna be honest with you, I watched a lot of the tournament. I'm typically a Yukon fan but it's kind of hard not to fall for the whole killing Clark thing. I watched several games that tournament but then I got the timing wrong. On Sunday. I thought it was late at night and when we got to the hotel the game was already on so I missed half the championship game but I got to see the end but I will I should add a few. Points of contention here. Unfortunately here. How about this headline from The Wall Street Journal? The women's NCAA tournament out shown the men but it got 99% less TV money. So on a bargain according to the Wall Street Journal. The TV rights for the women's tournament is cost only seven million dollars but it costs 873 million dollars for the men. This despite the fact that it clearly was not only the more entertaining tournament, but it destroyed the men's tournament in writings, I mean, it was the, it was the talk of the world 7 million dollars, and that's why it was on ESPN. ESPN and it wasn't, I think you told me this already, wasn't it? The most, the highest rated sports event ever, except for maybe like some NFL football, or something like football playoffs or something. It was like the ESPN's greatest event ever basically other than right football. Right? Yeah. Yeah. On it because they don't have money to you know, Get some of the really, really big games. So that's my first story the week. Second Story. The week is the eclipse and the reason why I put this in is because look, it's been years since I felt like, any Collective Joy, especially in America. And They both both moments happened this week that the women's tournament was Collective joy. And the eclipse, right? Even though I was in Canada, but whatever Trader. Yeah, I also want to point this out because the there was a report that they expect a financial boost of as much as six billion dollars due to travel around this event. So I traveled to Jackman Maine for the eclipse and you went to Maine and I left. Yeah. There were a lot more people there than I expected. Yeah. And the town. According to the town, they've been preparing for a year for the influx of people. They got porta potties. I mean they did a great job setting up right? It's a Tiny Town. Yes everything is Tiny in Maine except for everything's tiny. Everything is like sparse. Yes, I work with someone who used to live in Arkansas, she's from there and she said that was a one of the tiny towns. There was another place where you could see it. And similarly she had family telling her how nuts it was with people driving again. And there was like a whole Huge field where they lined it with border potties and all that good. I mean, it's better than holding it, I guess I'm going everywhere, I can only assume it could some, of these small towns. We drove through on our way home. I can only assume that they've never ever seen a crowd this big house possible. It was funny because driving up on Monday, the day of the eclipse people like residents had chairs This is six hours before the eclipse even starts. They had chairs out in the driveway and they were just watching the traffic. Hello. Yeah. Oh, there's a, there's a circus is coming and we were the excitement for the year, too. There's a scary article in the Boston Globe. That said that, someone took them like 11 hours to get like a home, like a 5 a.m. yeah, that's all about. The traffic was. Yeah. Anyway, that's the second story to work. Third story of the week. JP Morgan names for potential successors, for the CEO job. That's a held currently by Jamie dimon. Three of them are women. Wow. So that includes Jennifer peep shock and Troy raw. They were recently appointed coca, CEOs of JP, Morgan's commercial and Investment Bank. Marianne Lake. CEO of consumer and Community, making and Mary Airedale CEO of asset Wealth Management. JP Morgan. If you don't name a woman, I'm gonna be yelling at you forever. I mean this is my percent, right? I don't tease me this way, do not tease me this way. So is it normal to name? Four people as a potential successors, right? People within the company or is it like a hunger game setup type of thing? You know, I see this more and more often especially in the financial sector and I don't know if they put these names out as feelers to see, like if people will be angry at some of the names or to see if or like get them to work harder or to get them to hate each other. I don't, you're right. It is a little weird, to be honest. Or are they trying to get the ESG backlash already? Like done? I don't, when they pick one. It's fine. Well, Disney used to do this and it caused disaster every time. So I don't know why they need to do it this way. All right. Well, we'll see. Anyway, it's a third story of the weekend. Finally, the fourth story of the week back to Boeing. It started with this headline, the new Boeing whistle blower. This is not the one who's dead. This is one who's living says, some planes. Could just break apart in mid-air. Yeah. I mentioned this as a story of the week because also bowing finally announced its annual proxy statement, finally filed it with the SEC waiting for that. Yeah. And in that, of course, the headlines are already getting this wrong there, because they're saying that, Dave Calhoun cut his bonus, which is odd, that he even has power over to cut his own bonus. So they're saying he got no bonus for 2023, and I think that they're, you know, the headline makes it seem like some kind of a victory for corporate governance. And but but the reality is is yes, he technically did not get a bonus in the bonus column, but he still got 33 million dollars because he got 30 million dollars in stock awards and this is 10 more million dollars and he got in 2022. So I don't understand. I don't get the headline writers on this. I don't get the constant misunderstanding of CEO pay. It is knowing he even got Ironically, he got 500,000 dollars to, for his personal usage of the company jet, which is five times the median worker at Boeing's, annual salary. So there you go. Anyway, those are my four stories of the week. Well, I can't be too upset with you because you picked three, pretty three one, right? Three of them are pretty positive. Women's basketball, the eclipse and three out of four successors or JP Morgan or women to vote. Well, I wish that the Boeing was a, blower had been more in had better headlines on Lee. CEO. Dave Cohen. His bonus. Are you kidding me? No. It's like he's doing this out of the goodness of his heart. Like oh listen guys, I know I messed up. I'm just gonna cut my bonus real quick. That's not that's not my story. Donate the equity donate the equity away. I know, do something actually just step down. Now, what are you doing? Why are we wait till the end of the year? I don't know why we're waiting. Hmm. I think the NCAA Championship and the TV ratings and everything, you know TV, right. The money everything that goes along with it has been the story of this week and last week Jesse do you agree with that? I have to agree. I love the JP Morgan. Article. But I do feel like we have been awaiting the successor thing for a while, so it wasn't necessarily feel. Yeah. The NCAA feels very much this. It's a look, I I, it is a Transcendent moment. I not only, is it just been the talk with just everybody and happy talk finally, right. Yeah, happiness. But I, I can't not tell you how many of my Dopey friends, who constantly talk to me about sports. Who've never talked about women's sports, were all in excited, talking about next year, talking about the WNBA. This is a Transcendent moment in women's sports and like, it is just so exciting. It, I, I just I, I didn't, I, I don't understand the formula that made it happen, but I am just so thrilled for the in for just everybody. It's just, it is just a happy. It's a happy moment, honestly, so good. That's the story that week. All right, bring it to me. Now. Yeah, we're gonna keep this good going on Ari, the silliest of the week. Well, I don't have to reiterate one of the stories I have is a for the first time. NCAA women's basketball championship Drew. More viewers than men. Yeah, it feels. I still have that feeling that we always have to prove That anything dealing with women is worth it, it's like look. Now we have proof well Championship viewing, Drew more than the men. Exactly, actual proof. Now, I will tell you as someone who does watch a basketball, is that Beyond gender and all that, the, the women's games were were just flat. They were just more entertaining. I mean, even without Caitlin Clark, I don't know. I don't know who in the audience, watched what games, but, but it's just a better brand of basketball. There's just, there's the, the, the personalities of the players are better. The the coaches are better. Like, I don't know, I'm just telling you. It's just, it was just better. I mean. So is this is not just about Caitlin Clark, although she clearly is the kind of the, the darling of the, the, you know, the event. So, it's gonna be a big year for negotiating. Those TV deals and all the other stuff or women's basketball and it's Right? Yes, so that's exciting. It reminds me of the soccer like renegotiating of things. Right. Exactly after totally, was that when was that Woman's World Cup? 2020, I want to say, yeah, sure, 2018. No, I don't know, 2018, maybe I think it was 2018. Yeah, or maybe it was 2019. Whatever. Anyway, my next headline is 2,000, senior women when big biggest Victory possible in Landmark climate case. Yes, yeah, this is actually really cool a group of older Swiss women. Yes. First ever climate case victory in the European Court of Human Rights. Yes, he's women. These women are so cool. They're part of a group called senior women, for climate protection and they proved at the government. Climate in action violates human rights. Wow, I think that in action is, wow. Like not only Didn't have to do something that was wrong thing, just them not doing anything to protect his citizens. Church is the wrong thing to do. Oh but the way the way to they went about it is they presented medical documents and scientific evidence that older women. So their demographic or more vulnerable to climate impacts. Wow. And the Court ruling said that during recent warmest, Summers on records. That Switzerland has been experiencing nearly 90% of heat-related. Deaths. Had occurred in older women. Yeah, you're has a real, has a lot of deaths associated with some of its heat events. It's really scary. Yeah. The court judgment is binding. Binding. I love. This is amazing. Oh, they're gonna be, you know? No. Sorry. Is in Europe, including the UK just because brexit is not actual brexit because they're still part of Europe. The court found that the Swiss government fail to address critical gaps and climate policies. They're repeatedly missed their climate targets and they failed to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and sectors like Agriculture and finance maybe. All right, maybe the hands can you not? Regulating is why there are partly fall here. Love that the Caitlin Clark, you know, represents a Transcendent moment for women's sports can can this represent a Transcendent moment for like older women? I mean we ignore older Generations so much it makes me sick. Maybe maybe this can be the moment for older women and so the suit they first sued nine years ago, right? So it took this long to get a victory and the women. Some of the women interviewed for the article said, statistically speaking, we won't be around in 10 years. We're clearly not doing this for ourselves. We're doing this for Yeah, only women. Yeah. Yeah, I was great. Okay. It. And finally, yes. New York is doing the world's biggest Meat Company. It might be a Tipping Point for green washing. A lot of tipping points today are, I know so many tipping points. What is the world? Just buzzword Meat Company. It's a JBS. So there's a recording from the guardian this week and I realized I hadn't included this in any of the goodest headlines in the past shows, but New York AG, Leticia, James is accusing JBS of deceiving customers, about being climate friendly. Now, most greenwashing cases are brought on by non-profits or individuals, but JBS was so so bad at greenwashing, that the government is stepping in their claim, was that they will be Net Zero by 240, which is actually kind of a familiar claim everyone. But as recently, a September the CEO admitted in public did the company didn't even know how to calculate all of its emissions. Oh, they have no idea how which the government's big or New York AG's. Biggest argument is if you have no idea how to calculate this, if you're going out there and speaking, how can you claim? They're going to be Net Zero self accountable. Yeah, how about what teacher James not only going after America's biggest orange, meatball Donald Trump. Also going after the biggest Meat Company in the world JBS? Yeah. Why not to be weird but why? I know this story first came out last month because I know we covered it. Why is the guardian talking about today? Do we know this week? Why did why are they why something new about it in the context of other Industries as well. Okay. All right. So we're getting after this watching Man, worth re-reading on for sure. But I don't know if I could technically vote for it. He'll just the week. I might check the rules of the week. Oh so here we go. You got NCAA Women's Basketball. 2000 senior women. Yeah, climate action. and, The biggest bee company getting sued by that, you should James. What do you think? Jesse you have a thought here not a vote for the Swiss women lead the way I mean is as much as exciting as much as I want to make it a I mean, I want to, I are we already we already voted on the women's tournament for story that I mean. Yeah, this is clearly more impactful and profound and and just the fact that it's 2000 senior women, it's it's hard to. I mean this might be one of the, this might be one of the goodies of the 220 2020. I mean it's gonna be highlight under. Yeah it's gonna we're gonna bring this one up again. It's the fact that yeah someone just said it's binding decision which we don't we don't get binding decisions in America very often so that's the good list of the week. Two 2000. Senior women win. Big is Victory possible in Landmark climate case, right? They couldn't even believe it edible, All right. Which brings his brings us to I'm just gonna go fast, do it? I'm gonna go fast. One of the most famous directors in our in our world, you know, publicly traded directors has died this week, you know who it is. Oh, Jason. Oh Jay, yes. I mean, do I have to say anything more? But I just want to remind people that OJ Simpson was a director at Infinity Broadcasting Company. Also, in his bio says, he was director of something called Kushner Lock Company. I don't know if it's the same Kushner family that married into the Trump family, the forstner group and in something called Cirque. But but the real highlight here was Not only was OJ director at Infinity broadcasting. He was on the audit committee OJ Simpson was on the audit committee. Okay? Yeah, okay, so that's the first asshole the week. Second, how about this? Crazy story out of Vietnam. A woman named strong, my lawn who, I guess this is a property Tycoon. She was sentenced to death in a 27 billion dollar fraud case. So she's the chair. Yes, he's the I don't know. I didn't even check I think it's a private company. I didn't actually check if she's in our database but she is the chair. Vietnam. She was accused of illegally controlling, Saigon Commercial Bank using shell companies. And where it's interesting for us is that although she didn't directly hold executive power at the bank, she had significant control owning 92% of the bank shares through third parties in Shell companies. So again, in a weird way highlighting, why our influencer data is so important because a lot of the regular East, ESG data and ratings companies, miss all of us, right? They miss some of the new ones that are influencer data can pick up on, but this is just a nuts. Okay? So according to reports, she embezzled over 13 billion dollars over the last decade which is equal to three percent of Vietnam's GDP. I just don't understand why she embezzled that much. You know, I don't know what's going on here. Yeah, just Seems was already rich. I probably probably. Yeah. She's like, oh, I'll stay under the radar with this amount of money. What? Wow, sentence to death, though? I know look, I mean, the reality is we struggled to just get somebody fired over here in the US? Exactly, that's exactly what I'm not suggesting that we sentence, everyone to death. I feel a little comfortable with this. I'm not someone who personally believes in the death penalty, but I, but, yes, you're right, are we can't even it is interesting. But anyway, she can't even like cut people's bonuses. And we have people that are like sexually harassed like CEOs that sexually, harass people like to stay on the board. Get to see. You can't get fired from Tesla. That's an interesting point. And as Matt would point out probably is that, you know, because he likes to bring up like the, the punishment for Martha Stewart, and Elizabeth Holmes. I mean, this is just easier because it's a woman. I don't know. I, I really don't know much about this case, but I had to point this out. Yeah, that's the second story that we, this is just crazy as asshole's goal. Here's the headline. JM JM smucker that's a I think it's a company. Yeah, right I don't know what else they make other than jelly but it's a publicly traded company. That makes what do they make sure they make sugar and jelly? I don't know what they do but here's the headline. JM smucker, CEO says the family run. Business is a meritocracy. Oh my God, this is CEO Mark smucker the great great grandson of the company's founder. I mean, come on you crazy that he says quote JM smucker is a meritocracy. And my journey here took a lot of twists and turns it was not easy. Ultimately I was able to earn this seat but being born it wasn't easy. I don't know. Here. I think he was called out as being a nepo baby, right? I mean understandably, right? How do you? How does he not qualify? And I think he got defensive and upset. Well, here's here's advice for all the nepo babies out there. If you get called one, just don't respond. Yeah, just don't say anything smile or not, just move our bank account and be happy, right? Yeah. Maybe if you're if you look at your last name and then look at the name of the Bill of the of the company's name on the building that you open. If they match, right? They both happen to be like, smucker as an example. Maybe. Just shut up. Yeah, he says, he said, he said in an interview with fortune that just because his family's name is on the company door, does not mean, he's had an easier than others. I feel bad for you, mark, fourth asshole. Quickly, the UN climate Chief said that he has just two years to save the world. I saw that one and the 5th. So the week just because I'll let you vote on it because why not every week is Elon Musk. This time, he's in a, he's in a court case because he this is just a crazy case. He accused a 22, a 22 year old Jewish, man, Of of being a undercover undercover federal agent, posing as a Neo-Nazi, during a street fight between far-right groups. Even though this guy wasn't anywhere near this and is not any of those things, I don't know. I can't even follow this man's lunacy. I mean, this guy is such an, just a complete a-hole that, I just had to include him on this. But, but that's just a court case happening this week. I mean, think of everything that we always report on this guy and this is yeah, another new thing. But anyway, I just threw him in there, so, so you guys have five stories? I know. I'm sorry. Go ahead here, my I'll wrap it up OJ. Simpson Truman Vietnamese property Tycoon sentence to death JM smucker. CEO says not a nepo, baby. You and climate Chief warning about the worldly, Elon Musk, there go quickly. This is such an interesting way to play this category Damien but I'm gonna go with the true asshole this week and that is Mark smucker, see? Oh, worse than OJ. Wow. Okay. Okay. Yeah, OJ being in the audit committee. I mean, come on. Like, what is that? Yeah, Damion I'm going to interesting for you. Oh Jay. Oh no Society. It's hard to, it's hard, not mark, smucker, an asshole. I mean, but I, I gotta say, like, although, you know not, I mean, he was not technically he was fall. He's, he didn't he wasn't convicted of murder. I mean, although he was found liable, right? And a civil court and had to pay the family, a lot of money, the weird thing about O2, is it, do you know, he, he ended up getting sentenced to 33 years in prison for something else. He did later like, oh, he broke into a hotel serve any of that. Yes, he broke into a hotel room in Vegas. I think with a gun because someone had stolen some of his memorabilia and he tried to get it back by breaking in and I wasn't a huge red flag, right? This is after he got found not guilty for murdering his ex-wife and he got sent to 33 years in prison, but only I think he only served seven years old, or someone with a gun, but I don't care. How He still ended up on TV? Yeah, the whole thing is crazy. I know they're on a board. I know, I know because you're right back. No, no Jessie, Jessie know he was on a board before. All this happened just to be clear that he was on the infinity remained on it. No, no, the infinity broadcast. He was let go of his service on all these boards around the time where he was, he was convicted. He was arrested for the potential murder of Nicole Simpson's regardless. I'm shot a lot of companies do background checks on their employees. What about their board members? Yeah, I mean there's stories that go but way back in the day that even when he was at USC, he was he I don't know, he was accused of battering a woman and I mean this stuff that goes back for years but yeah, I mean usually does I'm not an OJ Simpson expert but I will I will agree with. Jesse on this one that this is because this is probably the last time that we are gonna talk about one of the craziest directors at a public company ever. It just, in fact, Mark smucker. Coming up again on the yes. Well laugh at Mark's marker again, but I mean, are he was on the audit committee, right? I mean, what was right? That's like enough said. All right, that's the asshole the week. So Ah, yeah. All right, headlines, that don't depress. Just see what do you got this week? Come on, Jessie. All right. Wait, headlines. That don't depress me. I got a little confused because I thought I was going into exhausting us? Yeah. All right, you're not these are just tell me how you guys feel about these, I guess. Okay, the first one, the marriage pact, a Stanford economics project that has expanded to nearly 90 Collegiate dating apps, by not focusing on look what? I mean, I feel, okay? I'll tell you initially, how I feel about it and I'll let you, I'll let you talk about it, please. I don't think about it. First of all, the the marriage pact makes me feel a little unsettled. I don't know what that means, and anything, no offense to stand for. I know there's a lot of bright people to go there, but anything anything going on at Stanford makes me all so unsettled. It's just well, it is also happening at 90 other colleges, right? But something that started there, I'm just imagining I'm imagining a bunch of like white like Tech Bros. Hopefully, women are with this line show on. Well, let me let me explain a little bit, so it was born out of an economic project by two students, the packed and falls and algorithm that race matches based on statements. Yeah. I For like such as I prefer Politically Incorrect humor. I pride myself on telling her truth. Okay. I shouldn't have led with the politically correct. You. What's all right? I mean, yeah, but they have all of these statements that you have. So basically, kind of like, remember when you were going into college and you had to do your room. Yes. But this seems a lot more accurate than that. I hope they also see the roommate and there's no photos involved. So we take that element out which, you know, check it out. However I wouldn't want like a perfect match because it's still want some fun arguments, Jesse everything. Okay but here you only get one person you don't get to like oh, you don't get around one person. They'll tell you what the percentage matches. It's someone else that goes to your college and get their email out, a lot of pressure either reach out or not. Whoa, some people get ghosted some but they did sight. They're gonna range marriage they eat. Well, you get to decide. They cited an anecdote of this couple that both went to colleges in New York and One of them happened to be abroad at the time, but they chatted and kept chatting. Kept chatting and turns out. They're getting married. They are 99.6% but Jesse but Jesse How bad would you feel if this algorithm basically found your soulmate and they were like, eh, I don't think so, would you feel extra devastated? No action. No. Because, you know, time I always into this too. Oh, I will have, you know, my current husband and I had a marriage pact. When we were in high school and we're married. Wait, what? This app? What is the marriage? This is basically, I don't want to quote it, I don't quote, the way it's pretty sad but it's basically like, okay. If this is a person who is a safe Plan B, if you haven't found someone and now we know more about your husband, okay. Yeah, dating world is hard these days. I don't know if either of you have friends life is hard? Yeah, tender or Bumble, but it's complex. So, this person that, you know, is your very, very compatible with, you could just send them an email, according to an algorithm, if we're both, not married at 35, maybe. Oh, Just see how this might work out in 10 to 15 years, I don't know. First marriages fail, want to reconnect. You know what? The reason why I picked this is. Yeah, I'll take it over the AI dating. I mean they are using AI but I'll take it over the ones where you're chatting with like fake people. And what do you mean, fake people or Bots? Bots really? That a dad happens on dating apps. I didn't know that covered one. Yeah. Oh, several months. Oh yeah. I was listening. Definitely was listening. Yeah, yeah, totally but also Hot Chat throughout and which is solely based on looks where you that's a real thing is that actually real hot chat it out. So anyway, they're shaking things up. I think the dating app world needs to be shaken up so all right. What else is not depressing you all right? This one's pretty good. Waste heat generated from Electronic to warm finish City in the winter things. Groundbreaking thermal energy project. Okay, I like that. So basically this article is citing that one of the biggest challenges in the energy transition has not been able has not been like generating energy that you can use for other purposes, but it's Storing it for later, use it on a large enough scale. So like batteries and these things aren't necessarily large enough to power cities for example. So they So in Finland, they have created a, what they're calling the first seasonal, energy storage facility in the world underground and it will contain enough thermal energy to heat a medium sized city. All winter. Oh, they're putting it in the city that they're kind of testing this on is a city called Vonta, and it's finland's. Fourth largest city, and it's like 30 people Hey. It could largest. Yeah because we wait they could just be wasting the energy. This gives me hope. Yeah, that's fine. Using to do something with it but can I say that? Can I just say I'm just really I'm greatly disappointed in both of you for not. Here's a story. You guys did not pick both of my articles. Know you and Ari here's a story. You didn't pick jet fuel to be made from Human historic. First this is, this is coming out of the UK and not only, they making jet fuel out of human feces, but they also have an agreement with whiz are to produce this fuel agreement for the next 15 years. Whiz, are you come on? I mean, how did you Not bathroom humor is there this is out of the BBC. This is real this is a bio bio fuel company. Firefly You know I saw the porta potty stuffy that I just like I actually didn't see that. Are we voting on her category, okay? I didn't even know this is a whole new category. It is the marriage packed, you kind of lost me in the middle but then you got me with the only get one person I took you really cool. Yeah, I'm really, you know, the dating apps that were used to now were it's feels like infinite amount until you run out if it feels infinite, but then you meet everyone. Like there's no one in the city for me. I know the crazy and then you feel finland's. Fourth biggest, actually, I'm surprised by that. I'll do anything. Any alternative energy source, like thermal energy. I'm I'm with you, I don't care what it is. Okay, now I know break the time. Yeah. I'm gonna go marriage pass. Yes for no reason. Okay. Damien did you have any Headline News? A headline, is that? When do I need to transition to that? No, we don't need that. Come on, stop. We picked the new category. Jesse's that. We both. We all just pick a headline that just makes us either giggle or angry and we just ate it. We don't vote on it, okay? And I'll go first quickly in. Mine is a I'm gonna say it is a repeat of a story. I already covered, but the way this headline the way they wrote it, I just I couldn't not repeat this again because But this is from the asshole category. Smuckers fifth generation CEO. Said, he's known nepo baby and won't let his kids be either. No nepo, baby generation CEO. Um well I picked I didn't realize he had picked the story for asshole these two Damien but I picked Elon Musk confirms that he used a secret account on X where he pretended to be a child. I don't really get that. I thought that was bizarre. Yeah I didn't want to, I didn't like that. So those so do we. What do we do? Are we going on these two? Just move on. I like it. I like it. Who won the yeah, I think we're gonna have a clean sweeper. Yeah, yeah, I said well basketball, every time everyone said, women's basketball, I said, Humanity because of women's basketball because yeah, you have to cite what you wrote because that was so, okay. So I basically said humanity and this was even before my my like Eclipse you for you, what was right? I said Humanity for the for what I've already said. Many times in the show today for the Transcendent moment that is women's sports. But I also want to point out the, the greatest coach South Carolina Coach Dawn Staley, who was sort of Lost in all this. Because a lot of the pressure has been on Caitlin Clark on, not pressure, but attention understandably. But okay, Dawn Staley. Who is just just cool. And every way I can think of, Not only was she a top player back in the day, but now she's a top coach, South Carolina completed a perfect season which is just incredible. She made this and just lovely incredible moving statement about Kate Lynn Clark on the podium when she was accepting the trophy for this Championship, which I just thought was wonderful. And then, and she didn't have to do this. She very elegantly defended the rights of trans women athletes. And again, she did not have to do this, but I think it was the NAIA Sports conference. Came out with the horrible ruling saying that these these athletes could not compete in women's sports. So, so, Dawn Staley. She defended them. And I again, she's already getting a lot of flack and abuse for this and and real and and I, I'm gonna repeat, she could have just said, no comment, she could have passed and and this I think is Why women's sports is, is having its moment in is better than men's sports because the women are not lumps. Like you know what I mean? Like, they believe in things they talk about who they are, they have personalities men, you listen to them talk and they are, it's it's sad. Like they just, they have nothing, they got, there's nothing going on, they just kind of repeat cliches. And So I just wanted to point out Dawn Staley out of all this. So that's my winner. All right, I did put I did put down women's basketball. Yeah, it's hard. Not to sweep. All right. Predictions. I have a good one. I'm excited? Yeah, come on. What's your prediction? I think travel websites like Skyscanner and Google flights will add a new filter to its search. You're gonna say yeah you're gonna say do you want to avoid Boeing plant? That's a big one. Last second. You know they're gonna do the whole beating switch. It's like oh aircraft whatever. Here's your aircraft and then you board a boy I'm playing. Anyway, maybe this guy. Maybe you can get like a hundred dollars less if it's a boring plate. Could I just tell you that? Just this morning? I'll take it. I'll take it if I get a travel credit. How are you? It's amazing that you brought this up. Just this morning I'm trying to book a flight from my daughter and and I never did this in the past but I did check to see the it was it happened to be an Airbus so I was fine. Like I did specifically check that that detail that I never checked, I'm telling you, my prediction is I think a very savvy Business minded but struggling NBA team is going to actually draft Caitlyn Clark in their draft because I think why wouldn't you do this? Is that kind of sting for her that, oh, And be sorry. I'm like NBA can be the one pick. Okay, we already know. She's gonna be the number one pick for the WNBA team out of Indiana, but I just think like that. I just think, why wouldn't you? I don't know. Look, we talked about this in the past on these shows we were speculating about winner of the NBA. Finally, gonna have a woman, be a head coach, right? And there have been some almost moments that didn't happen one in San Antonio, I think is not San Antonio. I don't remember where it was, but, but I just think, like, if you're already a crappy franchise, you're already having trouble selling tickets. You already just suck. I don't know, I just think, why wouldn't you take a chance on this? Why wouldn't you put your flag in this moment? Who knows? Maybe she'll even play. I mean, I don't think she will but I don't know why you wouldn't do this. I mean, if because it is a business after all, I mean, why not be the franchise that drafted Kaitlin Clark forever? I don't know, I think it'd be a cool. I just think it would be cool. I don't know. That's my prediction. And that's why you don't own an NBA. All right? That's why no one lets me do anything, that's why? Yes, that's why I get yeah. I mean, yeah, you're right. You're absolutely. Okay. I have to do the outro without Matt. Yeah. Thank you for listening.
