We're back. Are we alive and Alive? Well, I don't know, but it is Friday. First day of March, this is Ari the data Queen and joined by analysts told. Matt Scotty? Jesse the money Whisperer and hazelnut roles. Hey hazelnuts, you guys ready for the Friday show? You know what we're doing today? We're got story, The Weekly list of the week as holy of the week, exhausting of the week, you are thinking I can hear you. Like, what are categories? Yeah, we got some good stories this week. We have some AI stuff. Well, that's your story. Got some bowing of safety crap, which is every week. Oh, really? That's a good story. It's just I did read a whole report Boeing sucks at stuff. All right, should we just get on with the show? Please take it away. Start us off with story of the week. Okay. That's your cue, I think, I think you're right. I think these stories are pretty, okay? Starbucks surprise pivot to work with its main Union and a landmark moment for labor. Company. I feel like that should be shocking to Matt who said the exact opposite would happen this year. For everybody, the company and the Starbucks Workers United. Union announced that they were going to begin discussions, meant to secure collective, bargaining agreements, and resolve litigation. And I, I sent out know earlier this morning, Howard Schultz, the founder of the company, sort of preemptively posted this very strange letter on LinkedIn that he sent to. The leaders of Starbucks saying, basically don't do this because we need to preserve the soul of our company. And he went on to to include the Webster's different definition of soul and all these distractions about. I don't even know what that amazing. So I guess blacksmith doesn't care about soul of the company and he's gonna yeah, that's gonna work with it. He Stepped down from CEO, like multiple times share, right? And then is he still on the board or he's? Oh, so technically is now chairman emeritus. But it's so he's a figurehead, he's a figurehead, he's lurking. Always. And for some reason the New York Times reported on this several years back, he is just always had a thing against unions. It's just his thing. Yeah, he's yeah. So there's soulless. That's why he defined. I guess their soul is even though you would think that the workers, the Baristas the partners, the people who serve you, you're stupid coffee. Probably are the only soul that dumb drugs company. I don't know how to place, where you get your drug in the morning. I don't know. I like that. This is a, the other directors being like, sorry, we don't care. Bye. So that's the first big story. Yeah, cool. Second, big story that I think you guys alluded to, and I, I'll go briefly on because I think other people might be covering this bowing, safety disconnect ripped, and scathing report, accusing Rank and file. Of covering up quality issues for fear of retaliation for management. So, That's the second story. Use the rank in file. They didn't name a single board member like like whose job. Is it to set the safety like you know, the program communicated to everybody? Make sure everyone's on the same page. Execute on it. I don't think it's like Gus who's like screwing in the bolt, isn't it? Somebody else to be fair that might have been a poor headline for me to choose that was from Fortune because if you just take one from NBC news, for instance, it says Boeing safety culture is inadequate and confusing new FAA report finds and that's that's probably a better depiction. I don't know what fortunes angle is there. It does make it seem like they're accusing workers of sucking at their jobs. I'm going to go move forward, considering that re is is Frozen in a Perpetual smile on my monitor. Elon Musk, you know, I always try to avoid Elon Musk but, you know, He does tend to make headlines Elon Musk is suing, Microsoft, backed open Ai and its CEO Sam Altman among others. Alleging they abandoned the company's founding mission to develop artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity. Broadly. This this is a story that there's also other stories going around. Have the SEC is investigating open AI over its board's actions. That's an investigation that started in November but they're just reporting on now. I was gonna explain. This is the company that changed their core valleys and Right. This is a company that updated their core values, they did. But they still didn't, they haven't changed the fact that Eli? Okay. Let me back up a bit. I was gonna exclude the story because I just love, excluding everything about Elon Musk when I can. But I thought to myself if it wasn't Elon Musk, I would probably be applauding this because you know, I was just gonna say, do we agree with this? Because I feel like I do. I think that, that some would say that, you know, he's there's probably some way he's benefiting off of this. He's slowing down a competitor because he has his own AI company, a blah, blah blah. But so, you know, I'm sure there's it's not an altruistic move but I still like it. I still like that Matt. And I talk about this all the time off here. I it pains me somehow that Sam Allman his risen above. This is some kind of folk hero when the board was right to to try to get rid of him. And and the only people that I paid, the price are two women two, very highly trained educated, women who were right to question, what he was doing it at open AI All right. What else he got? Did we lose a member of the show? Keep it going. Is Matt not exist. I'll keep going. And Jesse just smiling. She's not saying anything either. I'm feeling, I feel, I'm feeling very strange. Just mean you are. So this is so I'm not happy. Okay, keep going, just conserving, right? And finally, oh, two of our favorite celebrity directors are leaving their boards. They both announced their retirement on the same day which is just bizarre to me. But Oprah Winfrey is leaving Weight Watchers. After she acknowledged using a weight loss drug. What I guess is a bit kind of a strange conflict of interest, right? Because the whole idea of weight loss of Weight Watchers, is that you adjust your diet, right? It's not about taking drugs. Although they did recently invest in a drugs company. So I don't, I'm not really clear why Oprah really needs to resign because she's taking away loss drug, I guess. She's taking a different drug. I don't know, I don't really get it. And at the same time, Shaq Shaq Shaquille, O'Neal famous basketball player. He also on the same day announced, he is stepping down from the board of Papa John's. So they're both leaving two of the biggest celebrity directors. Coincidence. To celebrity black directors, right? I will say this, can I say one? I want to say one thing that annoys me about the Oprah story is that at first there are headlines that she's donating the value of her Holdings. I have my goodness. Are you gonna talk about? Are you? But you're saying it's a good thing. So should I can all right I'll wait till you don't wait till your segment because I'll I'll crap on your set your headline during yourself because because I'm a little unsure, how good this really is. But I'll just leave it at that. My four stories of the week are so Starbucks. Surprisingly working with his Union Boeing huge report on how the safety of Boeing sucks. Elon musk's suing open Ai and Sam Altman. Wow, finally Oprah and Shaq leaving their boards. I am actually really torn about the first three. Okay, I'm so sorry. Yeah, I mean, the Boeing safety thing, it feels like it happened to every week but the report it does actually David. I think that had I don't know if this was a headline but in the report it said nobody knew what they were doing the headlines. It sounds like they're blaming the police at the bottom, but it's at across all levels. No one knew what they were doing and they had No clue how safety connected to their jobs. I find that amazing. Yeah. No, it's frightening. Yeah, amazing but amazing, but it's so great. But a story of the week, the report, the report and the report didn't come out because of because of what just happened this year, the report came out after the 2020 like Congress said hey let's go investigate Boeing and yeah right. It just happened to drop this week and yeah I will say still, I correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think a single executive or has lost their job. Yeah. Right. Not not a top executive. Yeah, I know. Yeah. What are we waiting for? I mean, this guy, Dennis Calhoun, he was already in the company culture when he took over to save the safety, call the safety programs at this company. I mean, what is he waiting for how was he? Now already announced his resignation I pretty embarrassed sure like a low level executive did lose their job. Yeah just I'm like a head like the oh, stop the head of struts job or something Calhoun. And it was if you're listening and I know you are. I hope you're, you're writing your resignation letter. Now, as we speak, I hope you're finding a nice poem to quote. It's time to leave tell talk about the soul of Boeing. Yeah, you can solve the Webster's definition of Soul, if it helps your resignation, but it's time to to leave. I mean, you're clearly the, you're clearly in charge of all this, all right? But my vote Israeli between the Starbucks shocker and the me agreeing with Elon Musk, which is also a shocker. I'm gonna go with Starbucks, okay? A long time. Um, Jesse have a vote, that's probably actually the right vote. I'm going. I'm going Starbucks. I wanted to go with celebrity director, Exodus? Yeah, because that's the right answer because she for our show. Hello. It ends an era for us. Yeah. Well Shaq is like like he got added to the board. After John, Schnatter used the n-word in a recorded call and they fire John Schnatter and like three months later they had Shack to the board and it's just such a like a comedic play to me that like the board sitting around being like our our CEO and founder. Just use the n-word in a recording like it's really inappropriate. Who's the largest blackest person? We can find to show how not racist. We are and and they had checked and ends that era. Guess what? She's already at Oprah. So they had to go. Oh no. But this is why Weight Watchers. That's what she sort of his famously in publicly dealt with her weight. Yeah, I don't. But her reason for leaving a like I'm now taking away lost drugs. Does feel, you know, Matt you still lost. Here we go. All of them but not first. First up. Yeah is a nice or a useful chatbot chatbot, not but although maybe but this is a headline, a PornHub chatbot. I can't say it. I'm sorry. Stopped Millions from searching for child. Abuse videos, really a new report published this week. Yeah. A new report published this week by the University of Tasmania found that people looking for this type of content on the internet, we're put off and sought, professional help to change their behavior. Wow, An intervention like an 18 month, intervention of a groundbreaking, this had to described it. Groundbreaking King chatbot, that was trialled in the UK on the PornHub website. I'm a little lost about this stopped. Well, first of all Millions, there are four million 4.4 million. Not people. But instances searches. Okay. Seattle. That's just crazy. Yeah, and they were put into two buckets. First of all, those 4.4 million searches were blocked by a page that said, the content you're searching for is illegal. Now, half of those searches were also, given were given the intervention of a chatbot being like, do you need help and given resources for help. Wow. Yeah. Just say it shouldn't have been a question though. So she said you do need help. Well, right, but this is on the study on how well this type of intervention works, right? The study by this University and it said it worked really well on. This one has the universe flipped over on its head when like like they're suing like New Hampshire wanted to make illegal governance analysis, Mark Zuckerberg can't stop a single teen from like, you know, like using his and porn porn has, is the, is the adult in the room. That's why I find this. So fascinating, this is amazing. Well, right, maybe the most amazing. I good story you've ever pulled but I thought, at least in America, the Pointe Industries actually been like on like a head on a lot of work, right? Like right with um, Letting them unionize and health benefits and all that stuff, right? Like they're they're actually been pretty good compared to like Starbucks for instance it's unbelievable. Like the focus industry is the one everyone secretly uses. So I really like this chat box. That's the only good chatbot that I've heard of so far. Number two, yeah, this is from NPR no. Wendy's says, it isn't planning to introduce search pricing, hit with this story everywhere like this, you know, we covered it and then earnings called two weeks ago, when DC, oh, Kirk Tanner. He was talking about the 20 million dollars when these has spent on digital menu boards and he said that, it would give Wendy's a chance to try out some new stuff, including Dynamic pricing. So, everybody went to search pricing, just like uber and Lyft, you know, just, I don't know. Most companies actually do that, I think. And people are outraged they're like what we're gonna have to pay more during peak times. We joked about it. No I I love this art because I mean, maybe I'm just like a constant Bargain Hunter which I am but I to me it meant that like at 2:35 in the afternoon freeze would be like 37 cents like that's how I read this, right? That's the thing. Well everybody was reading it as we're gonna have to pay so much more. Yeah, 11:00 getting like some crappy burger and I get that but I don't go out anymore at 11:00 Wendy's put out statement saying, no, we're not gonna charge you more dirty peak times. We're just gonna charge you way less during exactly. I have this not a thing I was kind of excited to see this happen, wait, but it is just it's just the internet. Took it to be like, just not search party 7.00, I still think it's it. He's Loudly lying like because well I think they're going to raise the price everything and then give you discounts just gonna say this is this is so that they can raise prices. Sure what I know. Like if the one up the block has 99 cent nuggets or a dollar, ninety nine nuggets, right? Like you have no idea. So what is surge pricing is like it calling. It Dynamic pricing is like a euphemism for. We're gonna charge you more in some places and you won't know where like that's all it means right. I mean I'm sure you can check the app. I don't know how this is good. I think this is good for you. It's not that great for me because I don't go to Wendy's. But in here I like the ability, I like Dynamic pricing everywhere. I do occasionally go to like Duncan or Popeyes when I'm really feeling like a horrible, like a human being but I don't go to Wendy's, so yeah. Okay, well, I had, in fact, multiple negatives. In fact, because of my nickname, I went to Duncan and I got the new, like, I don't even know what it's called. Like, like Ben Affleck has some new Dunkin, hazelnut thing, and I got it Ben Affleck. I got it. Just because of the hazelnut thing. You know what? I I actually liked this. So go screw yourself. That's wonderful. And lastly wait, watch her shares dropped 24% after announcing Oprah's exit. Wow, the shield dropped. This is my thing, no one cares about directors, unless that director is a celebrity shareholder, true who also promoted weight loss by, you know, lifestyle change, but who also admitted to taking prescription? Wow. And that case they do care about directors, I have to wait on this quickly. Ari know, you don't tell because you're wrong because there are a lot of things that felt good about these headlines and I looked into it. First of all, I did see a headline, or made it look like she's gonna donate all of her profits from Weight. Watchers to, the national museum of African-American history and culture, as part of the Smith, which is a part of the Smithsonian, but that's not the case. It's, it's her remaining shares. She's pledging to give her managers which are worthless currently and about to get more worthless because she's leaving because here's what really happened. Wait, what does that means? Sorry, her remaining her remaining over a million shares, not the prophet. She's made over the over the span of her time there. Because here's what is actually happened. That way. Here's what's actually happened there. She joined in 2015. The shares are around six dollars. Those shares peaked to over a hundred dollars in 2018. She's made hundreds of millions of dollars on options that she had at Weight Watchers and good for her. Now, Uh, yes, the shares have fallen, 20%, whatever since she announced her resignation, but Arias, because they were already down to like three dollars and fifty cents when she left, they went down to like three dollars and 17 cents. Like they still have already million dollars worth of shares right, ready, crater? They've already tanked. Why don't you give back your money, you made it an options. I think that her donation is good, I don't care about her donation, what I'm saying. Like, no the yeah, Damien, missed the point. Yeah, I don't miss the point, the point is Oprah left, the board and shares drop 24%. This is on the shirts already, tanked with her, on the board is what I'm saying. They, they went from 100 dollars to three dollars with her. God take 30 cents, that percentage, it's not misleading. If you bought Weight Watchers at 2 hours 62 days ago. Yeah, I'm just saying that the Is it of a board member who is not an executive at the company caused the shares to drop 24% means that someone cared about a director about a direct? Well, I'll tell you they're already up 6% today so I don't know how they cared for like 20 minutes. I don't know what, I don't know, I don't know. I don't like this story. I want to vote first. Your stories are PornHub. Chatbot, Wendy's surge pricing, not surge pricing and Weight. Watchers shares, drop 24% after Oprah leaves. It's definitely the PornHub channel. Is there any question? It's, I kind of adjusting. Yeah, yeah, the PornHub is the greatest thing I've ever heard of and I don't agree with that but yeah, I can't wait to go have lunch at Wendy's at 10:00 a.m. tonight and talk to a chat box about having problems. That means somebody else's turn. First one is really only three hours. The first one, is this headline? Biden's green Factory pushes benefiting Republican states. We've talked about this a bunch of times, but the Wall Street Journal has an excellent map showing the political leaning of the state, and the size of clean economy projects. And when you look at the map, it's basically all over the South and Texas and nowhere in California. Is there any New England is that because labor is cheaper there and the workers have fewer rights is that part of it is that? Because there are already factories there that they have been abandoned? Yeah. Come on. Tell us. Yeah. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they, those were the heaviest users of fossil fuels and coal. Particularly if you look at the map it's like Virginia West Virginia. There's a lot there's heavy dots because that's coal country so they're repurposing. Coal plants and turn them into sort of clean energy plants but that but they're basically unlike, you know, the Democratic leaning States, the liberally, leaning States who Built it and spent their own money on it. This is subsidized by the government in order to build it, so their benefiting, I'm okay with significantly more look. I'm I'm a proponent of I'm ready to split up the country. Anyway, like I'm ready for two different countries but if we're gonna stay as a union United States, I mean, look, these parts of the country, they do need good jobs and I think here's the all the better, the green jobs, you know. But if you overlay, the states that are fighting ESG and transitional and everything will talk about with the politicians of the very top, the idiots at the top. That doesn't mean that all the people should suffer once setting up the cleaning products, okay? But if you make the workers suffer and these States, they're gonna be Trump fans forever. I agree already are. But like you have to raise them to class to get some like Obamacare like people talk about Obama care and then go in and signing up because it Is good for their help, still, helping people. So, I mean, that's how I see it. They are assholes for taking the help and, and biting the hand that feeds and yelling at everybody actually five countries, five countries, number two, there's this headline. Black Rock updated. 2024 us proxy voting guidelines. This is why I picked this headline. This is a quote from what BlackRock did from the article. Describing the BlackRock did BlackRock indicated, its preference for companies to disclose the process by which candidates for board positions are identified. But clarified, their intent is not to prescribe any particular board composition. What? BlackRock that's your fucking job. That's what they were hired. You are the fiduciary, you're the shareholder, you elect the board. If your intent is not to have any idea who should represent you, what are you doing? What is the point? Well, what was the point of what? Why not? Just say, we invest in pieces of paper and sell them to other idiots who think they're worth more. We have no rights. We want no rights. We don't care about anything else. Was that what they're saying, why they wanted to clarify? That their intent is not to actually choose a board? It is just too elect, whoever really asking them recently. Oh, this course, yeah. So Black Rock. They don't know what their job is. You get number two, this week. Number three is my long one. Oh. And it's not that long because it's not that new. Here's the headline, Exxon just got two big endorsements in its climate change lawsuit, against its own shareholders. The Chamber of Commerce and the Business Roundtable submitted amicus briefs backing Exxon ensuing, Arjuna capital, and follow this. The Business Roundtable and I remind you is the stakeholder capitalism. Purpose of a corporation Business Roundtable, in fact, Just for kicks. I pulled the entire Board of the Business Roundtable and it's in our production document. So if you're watching the live stream you can't see it right now but we can put it on social. It's every board that these people are on and it includes names like Tim Cook and Mary Barra and Jamie dimon. And there's a big shot all big shots. But when you look through the companies, the companies are Nike Apple Starbucks. These are like some of the wokest companies on Earth who are now who's the definition of proving the submission. Of an amicus brief backing, the largest emitter in the world suing shareholders because they don't like what they're asking. Yeah, but just again yeah, definition of wooky companies. Whose definition though? I mean, you're talking about the right definition. You if you ask you like a Fox News there every company on this list as well, but they don't get the set like what? That's not like a real thing. I mean soothing shareholders. Now I wouldn't think that these companies would want to be anywhere so they're suing the wrong types of shareholders are The worst the worst person on this list to me, actually, is a woman named through Sunday. Duckett, she is the CEO of TIAA Cref. She's on the board of the Business Roundtable TIAA Cref is one of the largest pension fund like investors, they offer 401ks, right? And it's teachers, they do it with right. So, that's how they started. And their whole mission is about inclusion, diversity. They were one of the first to offer sort of like green portfolio options, and 401ks like social responsible portfolio options. They use the Arjuna capitals of the world as part of a lot of their kind of like talking points. These people like the people from ta craft show up at every ESG conference and she's on the board of the Business Roundtable, who submitted an amicus brief saying, it's Cool to sue a shareholder for asking for this is all our junah asked for they said, please go beyond current plans. Accelerating the pace of a missions reduction because your oil and gas peers, including BP Repsol in any which is a Italian have set more ambitious goals than you Exxon. That is all they ask for what Exxon did was sue them when they were they pull back? The proposal Exxon said, no, no, we're still suing you. And the Business Roundtable said, that's cool. We're cool with. You still suing that and use these things as reasons, the reasons include this proposal threatens the target company's well-being, like asking them to set a plan threatens, their well-being. They said the SEC is estimated Cheryl to proposals, can impose up to 150,000 dollars in cost per proposal. And it's expensive, they're wasting tens of million dollars of 150,000 dollars. The company spent 89,000 dollars on Darren Woods personal security last year and they spent $158,000 on his personal use of the aircraft explain to me how this one proposal isn't worth at least as much. Well, as his personal use of the company are not business, use personal use of, to be fair to duck it. What we don't know is that she could have been a dissenting voice on this board, right? I mean, you sure we can't always assume that everyone votes in the same. I would like the women on open AI. Maybe she was at the sentencing voice in this fight? I'm sorry. I would have issued an immediate press release saying. I was a dissenting voice. It's just not okay with that. I think that would be great. She did. No, I agree. I agree. She should be the new thing. In fact, what the business Round Table argued here was that Exxon Mobil has. Here's a quote as ExxonMobil has explained at length constructing a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions requires comprehensive knowledge of the companies energy business. Balancing the Myriad of factors calls for the kind of business judgment possessed by exxonmobil's management. They have effectively said only exons management. Can can do what you're asking them to do and you don't know enough, you shouldn't be even asking because we're the only ones who are capable of it and the Business Roundtable, I mean, Chamber of Commerce back this too, but of course they did the business roundtable's, okay, with that? This is it is weird, bananas. We are talking about shareholders of the company. We're not talking about like me. It just goes to show you that when it when push comes to shove, it's never about doing the right thing. It's about doing the thing that protects your class because these are all CEOs, The Business Roundtable is a collection of CEOs and they're supposed to and they were the ones saying, we represent all stakeholders but they don't represent all stakeholders. They only represent it when it's expedient, that's all it means. Well look, so those are your options forever forever. I've been saying that at least recently that this whole anti will movement is really about this. The the victims of the bullies, figured out a way to start fighting back, right? And so the bullies like the exons, or whoever the massage in this, so the homophobes, they don't like that. So they're calling everything, anyone that any of the victims that come back at them trying to fight back our called woke? So that's just part of this. The the bullies are just fighting back and every way they can think of that's why they're they're, you know, they're fighting back against our junah because the other just they're too woke and they're not the right kind of shareholder and blah blah. But now the The same story. It is the same story, but the fight is like they the initial lawsuit request was takedown the proxy, right? Like revoke it. Now they're going on now. They're basically saying because we don't care that you revoked it because there's a weird article opening this. I mean when you have pursuing the SEC, they're effectively suing the SEC through our junah Capital, right? But we have like seven employees, what the hell you have black rock and Larry Fink just completely laying down the, you know, just being like, I give up like we're not fighting this fight anymore. This is, this is the political moment for EXO on mobile to do this. Well, let me clarify blackrocks intent. Their their intent is not actually pick a board. Nothing they're not, that's not their intent. All right, their job. Those are your options. Biden's, green Factory. Push on his basically a red State win and he gets no credit for it either, like, it's black gonna be fair updates is probably their proxy. Voting guidelines to include, we don't actually care about board, composition, and Exxon. Gets help from The Business Roundtable, stakeholder Capital. So, who was the asshole in the Biden story? It's the Republican states. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, it's there. Yeah, you go first. Oh, I have to go first. I feel like we've covered these stories a lot. I mean I was a weird week for assholes. This is tough. I mean businesses, this doesn't surprise me if the business none of the surprises me is the is the problem Business Roundtable. I expect this. Black Rock not doing a thing, I expect Dating that their job is not their job. I'm not that I didn't expect. I'm just I, I guess I as much as I am not mad at the I do think that people in the red states. Do deserve good factory jobs. I will agree that the politicians at the top and the people fighting against these things are assholes. So I'll vote for that one. Whoo, he hates workers. Now, you know, but I know that the underlying story here is that the reason why they're going there is not because there's already an infrastructure that exists. It's because these are the states where the laws do not protect workers and they can push these workers around and the and they can set wages lower. I know that's part of it. But anyway, I saw a headline that Exxon blames the public for they do not You know. Not doing enough to. Stop climate change, change the course of climate change. That's why he said, he said that he said public action around. This has been too slow so now it's too late. That's, that was his Darren would. It is our fault though? However, I didn't know. So I knew that they were suing Regina capital and I knew that Urgent Care Capitol. Pulled, you know, pulled out. But I didn't know the Exxon was still going at them. So oh yeah, I'm just I'm picking X on. Yeah. Wow. All right. So just he has a chance to break the tie or split a super tie. I am. I sorry, Damien, I'm gonna vote Exxon, because I also promotion, that means our asshole. The week is not actually X on its The Business Roundtable. Oh, but everyone agree, trust me. Next time, it's gets us to what exhausting us. Even more Jesse. I will we're just already exhausted. It sounds like you have 17 different varieties of getting it through this word. I don't know. I do. I do and my internet has been terrible. So we'll see what exhaust you more. all right, first up We have anti Wok, still being ridiculous. I pulled two great articles for this you guys it's crazy. so, the first one is, The anti-woke was going after Jeopardy now. There was on there was a tournament. there is a Tournament of Champions quarter-final and I can a contestant chose A puzzle speech parts of speech that was the category. Yeah. And the puzzle simply read them zeros themselves. And the contesting guest what our pronouns, which was confirmed as the correct answer. And within moments on X, people were posting the clip of this video. Saying how woke Jeopardy was the hashtag boycott Jeopardy was going fire. Really boy got Jeopardy. Yeah, so and then so is Jeffrey not even allowed to refer to things that actually exist. Correct right. Okay that's that is the case that's being made and here's one of here's one of the high highlight comments. Don't highlight things from Max don't do this to us. There are many, there are many comments. This is just it made it just this proves the point of how exhausting this is. This is what a conservative wrote. You evidently have a radical social activist using Neo marks this new speaking for you. This is where it gets great, though. I suggest you stick to reality. Oh, it's just, she, he from the moment of conception and forever. Oh, is that big Ramos? Social activist using Neo Marxist marks so happy. All right, your educated. I don't know what that means. No, at the church of Christ. I'm glad you guys liked that one. We've got another one that was funnier than exhausted. I just want to keep you going. So, you have a coughing fit, keep talking. This is the headline and NFL has become awoke discriminatory anti-america. Yes. Well, they hired a black, they hired a black coach. That's very good. That's not even what it is. Here's okay, there's two authors to this article and avoided watching the Super Bowl and oh yeah, watching this Super Bowl. is because the NFL has implemented a simple of division. The so-called black National yeah, so this this is because we have Because we have the national anthem which was supposed to unify us as the one where they're dropping bombs on things. That's the great unifier. Wait a minute. It's a sucky song. Let's be real at this song. Sucks. America that beautiful! I like that one. It's nice. It's know. The real question is, is who is watching the Super Bowl before the Super Bowl? I mean that's like, 30 minutes before kickoff, three hours before kick out a kickoff, they do that. Like, somebody was like, can't have that. No one was like really just like I'm turning this game off and we're really just see is, why does an enslaved group of people? Why do they need three minutes of time to feel good about themselves? That's just too much. What are we? Why do they need that? Yeah, totally. Okay. So let me just piggyback on that and tell you what, let me sum up their final thoughts. No. Do we have racist discriminatory? Move is part of the woke agenda. Pushed by radical. Yes, I Blogs who have invaded. So many of our institutions, they hate this nation and structure and a history. And I think America is the source of all the world. Where do these black Americans? Wow, in the history of America. Where where was there about football? Okay. Black by by black players. Is that right? Can I have a follow-up to that story? Matt, we covered the horrible racist, white supremacists, just bigamist hunt, family member the yeah, family. Yeah. The true winners of the Super Bowl, the players of the NFL, do a poll every year where they rate all the things of their own teams, everything from the weight training facilities to the to the even like the chair that, you know, the the locker room, chairs, the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, got the The only F minus for all the teams, the players hate him so much that he got not an F, Jesse an F minus, that's how much the Kansas City Chiefs, hate the hunt family, and the owner of that. She's so I, you know, the Chiefs for that. But the thing about this story, this, this one is, it actually also makes me kind of happy because if you watched the black National Anthem being played it, it's, it's suggests that you probably watched like, six hours of pre-game show, all right? Like, there's two weeks of like, like if you've ever in this country if you turned the Super Bowl on like the day it's supposed to happen at 6:00 at night and turn it on like nine in the morning. It's all pre-game all day is just know he's like Matt it's it. They only game that added an extra week to the schedule so that there could be more media coverage. I just love the idea that these people were watching like, Two hours of it and then we're like, I'm turning it off. I'm not gonna watch the actual game. I all I did was watch pre-game, I'm not watching the actual game because it's too low. Oh, they didn't see the game. They said they didn't watch the game, right. Okay. The only two people. All right. I wonder how they would have reacted to Usher. Okay, next up. Its axon. Matt already covered this in length so I don't need to go into it. But we've we've talked about the story so I thought it fitting to include it, but it is mostly here's a quote that I that fired me up while I was reading it. This is, what was in the brief that was filed. By both the Chamber of Commerce and Business Roundtable, but opening the door to shareholder, proposals, pushing social and political agendas. The SEC has allowed a subset of activists to Common Deere Corporate proxy statements for their own parochial ends. what like, Demanding that these companies. Actually follow through on their climate promises. Has nothing to do is not selfish in any way. Like, how is saving the Earth preserving the Earth? Their own parochial ends like that. I just, by the way, Jesse, they're not these, the Arjuna capital of the world. They don't have the, the power to push their agenda. They're always. They're only asking for a proposal to be asked if we put out to all the shareholders. So they can have a democratically held vote, which is still not binding, even if it passes but they don't they don't have the gaming, their agenda, Damien this proposal will cost on 150,000 dollars. They don't have any money to spare on that proposal. You're wasting shareholder Capital. Yeah, all right. So yeah, come on really? That's that's the narrative we're gonna take care. Okay and lastly, this one's, this one's easy. I don't have to say much about it but Norfolk Southern CFO. CEO received major pay Boost despite East Palestine around And we covered. We covered Michael D, Lockhart, who's the chair of the Safety Committee? His pay wasn't affected either well. So just in case anybody wanted to know, first of all, he wasn't fired and he got a pay Boost. Lockhart is stepping down. He's retiring. Can I added the story quickly? Yeah. Just I got a cool clear out of the store because I don't know if everyone heard our show the other. I don't even know when we covered this. We covered this in the proxy countdown map, but I got a quick say this because it's just so funny just say it Norfolk. Southern they released their preliminary proxy statement this week because anchor holding his has a proxy contest. They're trying to get out all the board. This safety committees, new chairs, a man named Chris Jones because Michael Lockhart stepping down at the meeting. Chris Jones had no skills in safety last year in their proxy and he was called Mr. Jones this year, he is now suddenly called Dr. Jones, he has skills in safety. So many skills that they mentioned the word safety 15 times. Like it's really the doctor one online course. I don't get just a certificate. Well, that's the thing. They don't even list is degree, they just call them Dr. Jones but he wasn't a doctor. I did a dive like every year. Chris Jones has been on the board. He wasn't he had no like according to their own skills Matrix didn't have the dot next to safety and was Mr. Jones for years and this year yeah, only in response to Anchor. A slate is Hector Joan's 15 times in a box. How long are these bios? It's like 800 words. Get all the safeties in there. Yeah. I love that. All right, so that means a good addition day and I woke being ridiculous Exxon again and Norfolk Southern CEO. These are all kind of funny to me. They're exhausting to me, we had Jesse's chronic cough to these little, yeah button. Can we add that one point? Wipe the board? The keyboard with their hand that I could hear in the microphone. So we're going with your tonsils. I'm gonna go first, and I'm gonna vote for Norfolk Southern. Yeah. Yeah, that's it. That's 100%. That's the winner. Norfolk Southern is the winner. So it's like a little sweeps, this week, a lot of sweeps this week, that means we're on to Winners and stuff. Not Jesse. All right. Damon you got it? Who won the week? Yeah, mine's easy. It is Oprah Oprah Winfrey. Stepping down and somehow looking like a good person because again, she's donating some shares. But let's, let's be, let's be honest people. Let's know the real story she made hundreds of millions of dollars, being the director, not even an Executor being the director at a company where the weight loss system did not even work for her. She had to take away lost drug and yet she goes home with hundreds of millions of dollars and she had the party donating. The rest of her shares utter bulshit over your literally all. I guess it's taking some of the shit out of you, but whatever. you copy this for me because I picked Shaq to as a winner. Oh, Shaq makes children happy cross the world. What did he won the week? He's a winner. He didn't do something wrong. I was tongue in cheek actually found like the founder of Papa John's. You know, said the n-word said he had to go to rehab, basically, just stop using the n-word then Shaq got called up, and he's like, sure. I'll help you clean your image up. If that guy is out that dude was out and Shacks made like over 15 million dollars from their partnership to have to Papa John's I believe it. Great. I have a winner, it's a good winner. It's Christopher Jones for getting his Doctor Jones just a few days ago. Like, when older people go back to school, by the way, it's I like professional did an honorary doctor. Taylor Swift is also a doctor right? Is that true? She has? You know I saw a headline like I clicked on. Yeah. Travis Kelce told you All right, Jesse. Yeah. I chose the Brooklyn prison guards because apparently they're getting crypto investment advice from SPF. Oh, that's a really good. I like that I like that winner too. Predictions have a good one. I'm gonna start. Yeah, do it. I think Oprah. We'll get on the board of Novo, nordis the company and she's gonna do the same thing with us impact that she did with Weight Watchers, take all money and then leave when to share price is really low, she's gonna make herself a face of it. Is there more than they need her ton of money? I'm sorry. I said, do they even need her? I mean that drug is we've been reporting. That no over. Novo, Nordisk is Basically, the entire GDP of Denmark, that's how powerful. Yeah, I'm sure they can use some diversity on their board. That's true, that's true. Damien who's your, what's your birthday? Howard Schultz by three percent stake. In Kimberly, Clark Corporation, the makers of Kleenex. Because after crying for a few weeks straight, he grows to appreciate a really soft tissue. I have a final prediction. My final prediction is soon as I find the buttons. The head of pornhub's, IT department will be hired to regulate social media, by the US government. But the natural progression here. Start out. PornHub power here. It all comes from PornHub, that's all we got. That's Jesse the money whisper and already the data Queen and hazelnut Ross. I'm your animal. So I'm at Scotty, we did not have a video for us today but we are on video every week on this Friday show, and if you want to catch up with our new schedule, we're doing Tuesdays and Fridays. Now, and Tuesdays are going to be fun games and Fridays are going to be this some version of this. And then on Thursdays, we have the proxy countdown.
