It's Friday. And we are live and Alive. Oh, mostly alive. I think. Can you confirm? This is already the data Queen to joined by analysts Mattie. Jessie the money Whisperer and hazelnut. Yes we're sticking. Why are we? Why is it a question? That's right now. Oh no back. I decided that every time I visit was Harper I'm gonna have an honorary cup of hazelnut coffee just to honor my new nickname which I love you. Stunk up the office every time he hazelnuts. All right. On today's weekly wrap up a whole of the millennial. Yeah I think money. Parenting apple and a billion dollar way to be, anti-social way to be entire social. I have a free way to be, just don't go out. All right, Damien? Why don't we started? Yeah. Here we go. I was. Extremely disinterested until I heard someone call my name. I fell asleep. Now I purchased what stories should I have known about this week? Okay, well I you know, I hate doing this I try to avoid all Elon Musk stories, but this one is shaping out to be the story of the week. I'll just read you the headline from The New York Times, but I think this is underselling the story. X races to contain damage after Elon Musk endorses anti-semitic posts. So that mean Linda Linda's racing too? I don't even was a glass. Lift, what does that mean? Ari, who was racing? And I don't feel any racing. I don't see any races of. All you said, X naught X previously known as Twitter. That's true. That's true. That's true. I was reading for beta in the New York Times headline because they're trying to be serious journalists over their New York Times. So, This all started from Elon Musk responding to a really hateful virulent post, shockingly that on Twitter or, you know, on X what, but this time it just seemed even for Elon. It seemed a bit over the top and his response level hate ya, Next Level, hate it top anymore, his response was, you have said, the actual truth. And Matt, we talked about this yesterday off air. This, this almost makes it worse to me. It'd be one thing if he just said, like, yeah, I agree or yeah, let's kill everybody, or whatever, horrible thing he wants to say. But we're now the, in this age, we're all the idiots, you know, all the vivix and the trumpies They? They call their opinions truth. I think we need to rename the entire post Trump era. Not, it's not post truth, it's it's the it's the pro Gaslight era. I mean, all we do is say a thing and claim. It's the truth with no data, no backing, no nothing, no cares like that. He said actual truth. Not just truth. That's true. It's the actual truth that makes it worse here because you know, there's a spectrum of Truth here. Yeah, that's right. I mean, well, I'll say it the same time that I in an unrelated but related moment IBM which never really seems to care about, little issues, has suspended. Its 1 million dollar advertising on the platform because it, it's was its posts right by pro-nazi. And I don't know, I don't know. Just figure that out. Just happening for like, literally, they don't get the New York Times I guess and here. Here's why I'm saying that maybe this is something, this is a new thing. There's I'm now seeing more headlines tonight I've ever seen that parrot, our show which is basically, it's enough, like, it's time to get this guy. Oh, and we're and they're mostly talking about Tesla because they can't control X of course. But there's one article, I pulled about a long time. Tesla investor called Ross Gerber, who is saying that that Elon has affectively stepped aside as Tesla CEO. And he's also saying that he plans to ditch his Tesla for a rivian. What? Because of this post divest as well. Okay, here's the funny thing, are you? This is why I pulled this. He also said that musk is working to destroy Tesla and it's not acting as its CEO, but when asked, okay, he also said that, many of his clients are already calling him, telling them that they want out on Tesla. They want to invest in immediately that they don't want their cars. They don't want their shares, but he himself said that he is going to keep his 420,000 shares. Not Listen to that. Doorbell is money in Capital. One Door anyway, I could keep going on. I'm sure we'll be covering this in other ways but that's the first story of the week. Somebody is racing, got it probably Linda there's a race. Yeah, Linda Berlin. I'm glass about two. I mean she's already falling from. There isn't the real. Can we just say that the that the real story is that Lindy Carino is a nobody. Like, I mean I want to thank you. And but come on, what's the point of this and you know what? To be Linda quits? Yeah. Yeah. Where is that story? Correct. Imagine not quitting for so many jobs. I mean, is there be so many companies that would take her just for having the, the courage just stand up to this loser. But and that kind of my Tesla prediction later on in the show will okay. Okay. Moving on that second, big story that week 1,000 of Starbucks workers, strike on red. Cup day. Which was yesterday, did any of you? The three of you go to Starbucks and lovely downtown. We ha, did you notice a strike? Was there a strike? Now, you didn't go yesterday, did not see a strike on purpose. I must die to not go. Well I thought you bumped into a former that was just of our show, a former fancy expiratory show. I bumped into a fancy expert from our show. Mr. Bruce Kahn as a Starbucks and wiha but today not yesterday so I'm serving the strike. Yeah reporting we're we were in Oscars. Yeah not Supreme not strike record. Okay. So that was red cup day I guess is the the probably the busiest shopping day apps in Starbucks because they hand out free holiday cops. So that's why union members chose that day to walk out. Okay related news Education for my Starbucks. That it was red cup day yesterday. Really. Are you pissed? Well, maybe it was in preparation because workers were going to be striking. I don't know in related news matters that we've been talking about a lot. UAW members did ratify a deal at all very close. Well, done, 55% approval. So it was a contentious foe which which surprised the hell out of me very soon. Afterwards still antis workers approved their contract. I think Ford is next, so that's the second story of the week. Wow, is it surprising? Because I I thought it was a home run. I didn't think that there'd be a lot of pushback, I guess veteran workers. Yeah, veteran workers. Weren't too excited about they think? They think it's like favoring younger. They didn't get enough retirement benefits out of it. I mean, Yeah. Like there's it's not like anybody looked at the deal and said like oh this is a massive win and this will set our people up for years to come. It's a big. No, they said my personal retirement. Benefits didn't get a boost. I'm pissed about that. I'm voting against it. I also read that they were pissed at the newer people, the younger people. There, the benefit to them was much greater. Than the benefit to the people who've been there a long time. Good finally know that happens everywhere, stop favoring the oldies. You know, they can bolster their retirement, they can short Testa demand that everyone. Everyone returns everyone, get over it and buy a Hyundai or something. All right, moving on. The audience is very loved your ideas. I always cover these stories I like to cover one nerdy kind of free float. Analytic story, although this company is not technically in our universe, but I don't really care Ernst and Young e, y picks. The first woman ever to lead a big four firm. Ever. What ever trunk Hill story is that we here here at freefloat recorded our first episode of the proxy show. Yeah, I don't know when we're gonna release it but I just wanted everyone to know. We have a new great show. That's true. Let the audience have their moment. They're very excited about this new show. Those are my four stories. and by the way, in the first show, we had a special guest and you'll have to we'll announce it. Yeah, a whole family member, a whole Hall of Fame member governance Hall of Famer. Not a special guest not Pete Rose because he's not in the Hall of Fame because he cheated. Yeah. He's bet on like, isn't it? Funny how you could bet on everything? Now, the whole world is betting on everything every second of the day and poor. Pete Rose, can't get all four Pete Rose said, the only one who cares? The only one who cares. All right, so Matt why don't you wrap that up for me? Oh see. See how that worked? Okay, just give you permission. That's fine. The way I do it every single week but I want to know the Aria is the host of the show. So I don't think there's any question. The right up here is Elon musk's an anti-semite. I don't know why. That's a thing Starbucks. Worker strike on red cup day. One of the big four finally gets a woman and the first ever proxy show was recorded by us as story of the week. What I like Show proxy. Seems like it doesn't fit. I'm just gonna be your stories. Jesse you want to vote first? What's the story of the week this week? There is a right answer, by the way. Wow. This is taking you way longer than I thought it would. Yeah, because she is a complicated. There we go. She's building drama. Just has a complicated. That's why? Yeah yeah. Okay. All right, well, here we go because Damien likes to build up the drama. So Damien My story of the week. Is all so musk I mean how could you go for anything else? I tried to find other worthy stories. I couldn't find any other words that I guess everything pales in comparison. This is pretty. This is the not only the richest guy in the world. He's also like CEO of 17 companies, and he's the CEO of everyone seems to love. So yeah. We know about oh, the idol of thousands of people. No more than that, but your vote doesn't matter. Who would you have? Voted thousands of anti-semites? Yeah, okay. So it would have been a clean sweep anyway. So I don't feel bad, but I did do a drum roll. So you can't say, we didn't create the drama, which means I was holding my breath there for Jesse. So I would, guys, I like the strikes stuff. So I was slow reading, that's all. So I had to So, what are we doing time for me? I just started singing now that I'm hosting. Please, please. Yes. Sing every headline. Yeah. I got perfect with Ari. Three good headlines this week I will see about that. Apple says iPhones will support RCS in what's our four, what's RCS? You do you know when you have an iPhone and you, I message people and you can Send read receipts. You can do a thumbs up. And then when you text an Android person, you text them, a green test, different color terrible. And then, it's super terrible and everything. Everybody's about it. Why is this super terrible? It's so because the quality of videos and photos that you send between Android and iPhone, it is crap. And then if people like them or hurt them, it sends a new message. Yeah. Is that? I was like, Matt what is the world coming to that sounds? Like this is honestly been on my mind for almost a decade. I don't know how I lived getting a separate text. That said they heart this. Yeah, I don't myself, but, but I mean admit to you Ari. I only think I I think I only have a couple friends who actually even have an Android. So oh yeah. That's right. Show you Show how? You're an elitist. Oh, she just called you and elitist that's alarm. Oh, my son has one but he doesn't text me. So Rich Communication System I believe. Anyway, this is happening because the EU thank goodness for you. According to their digital markets act, they require major companies like apple to make their services enter operable with other platforms. Okay? With that. Something that Apple hates more than playing nice with non-apple devices. And non-apple people, I know over it now, the Steve Jobs is dead, stopped making their own Chargers and crap. Oh, they have no, dare you just not on any of my devices, know, but the EU has passed that as well. They have to phase that out. Alright usb-c, come on America, time to pass it. Well, it will get to us. Yeah, change it for that. So, we'll get to us, that's great. Wait to go. Okay, if she says, it's great. It's fine. All right. Number two, Yeah, Austin became the largest city in the US to eliminate parking minimal. What is that mean? What's a parking minimum? Whenever you build anything, whether it's a condo complex stores, you know, whatever this because of zoning codes, you need a minimum amount of parking. Oh yeah, no more parking. Exactly. Stop. Making it so attractive to drive your car into cities or anywhere really. But yeah. Come on summer and park spots can cost almost 30,000 dollars per spot. Oh yeah, that's a ton of money. It's like 300. I think it's like 300,000 dollars a spot in Boston. So also getting rid of this parking minimum so that, you know, as a builder, you don't have to worry about parking. It can lead to a more housing, which hopefully, is more affordable housing. Yeah, probably not. And it can affect the urban heat island effect. I like that. Yeah, yeah. I don't like, you know, So all right, that's pretty good. Yeah, that's good. Cool. Okay. I'm never going to Texas though but it's fine. It's good. Was this a slow week? I said, Elon Musk, I sent her one and I thought was good but she ignored it. Oh, I didn't she replied to me, I said, looking fairness category, we've spent and I'm gonna put this on our website because why the hell not, we've spent basically the last month doing nothing but a deck to bring money into this company from investors. So if you're interested investing in literally, the most interesting data analytics media company that's ever existed true. We are. But that is why Aria ignored Damien's text or slack message and be picked relatively boring. And What good fine, but this third one was a fun one already. Have you heard of the glass defense? Oh no. I like, what is this? So Nikola founder Trevor Milton. This is the headline. Maybe a convicted fraudster, but he wasn't greedy, or mean, spirited and not as bad as Elizabeth Holmes. Yeah, that's amazing. It's like this is just insane. He's definitely greedy, but he's probably not as bad as Elizabeth Holmes. Lawyers are arguing that he should not go to jail. Oh, this fraud conviction for lying to investors. Let me remind you to investors with exaggerated like fake claims about their zero emissions trucks, right? You guys remember that and you remember that they're saying that this is nothing like what Elizabeth Holmes did with. So let me ask you. Did you coin the term glass defense? Yes, I just thought that is that actually might be the good list of the week. For me I'm gonna vote right now is Ari coining. The term glass defense. Yeah. In which you find a woman who did it worse than you, right. Yeah. I mean doctor did it with China like find like a non-white country to do it too but this yeah, exactly. And this is specifically what their lawyer said there is not a shred of evidence from trial or from Trevor's, personal life that he was ever motivated by Spite nastiness nastiness ill-will or cruelty, blah blah blah, it could be true I guess. I mean, what I'm reading here is that Elizabeth Holmes is a nasty woman. Oh, She ever, I didn't get that that she had spite, who cares? I don't know, but that's the implication. Whatever. Here, am I allowed to wrap these up host? All right. So the the almost good list of the weeks include. Apple says, iPhone's rule support group text messages, that apparently gen Z. Things are important. Austin is the largest city to eliminate parking minimums which okay this will help in 100 years something about something about A really Ari says the words glass defense. Those are the good list. I'm what allowed to vote? That is correct? Yeah, my vote doesn't matter. Then Matt, you already voted for that. I didn't vote. No, I I'm just saying. She's correct. Oh, what's your vote? Okay. Hold on. I'll build suspended about the parking spot. Yeah, I you did like, don't like parking. You want to make it harder for people to drive places. I think that I don't think this technically makes me feel good. I liked I liked the phrase, Aria I do love the glass defense and I do like you are but this this story is not make me feel good on any level. So I'm actually gonna go, you think it's funny. I mean, it's funny. I'm just going with the what, how I perceive, how I interpret the category, which is the goodest and the one that makes me feel goodly is I like when cities do any kind of thing to to not like Champion cars? So I'm gonna go I'm gonna go with Austin, Illuminating parking minimums. Ah even though I don't know what has to do with our company Mission but who cares he does make a good point that like the the it's not a good story. It's a great story because it's funny you're wrong. It is the glass defense. That is the right answer. Yeah guys. I would have picked you see how I built the suspense? I would have picked Apple to be honest. Yeah I know that's why you that's why you led with it and we I think in a poll if we did a poll most people would pick Apple. All right? People are we've got like two or four and a half listeners because I know there's one person who's like currently doing their dishes with this on the background. They have no idea who we are. Just came on accidentally to the four and a half listeners. I think you're right. Apple RCS thing, do you care? Yes, I think they do you care. Okay, all right, moving on. I like it. Strong host momentum. You know tell us man ours is a speed host um all right I actually have five six options. Okay. Why are most of your options Graphics? There are so many assholes every week. There's almost they're all pictures and this is all simple. There's really, we're gonna limit it. Look, there's a central asshole of this week that we all know it's Elon Musk. You he's gonna win the award but I don't Millennial hair into Ari. I don't care as much about Elon Musk being the asshole. I care about his enablers. So literally, I'm going to list. That's what our company for Matt. Yeah, it's the people behind the people. I'm gonna list the enablers here and I want you to pick the one who's actually behind the ashes exciting. Get to her right. First up, Damien already mentioned it. It is the Tesla shareholders diversity. Ross Gerber not playing to sell his stock which is 420,000 shares. Just hold on to the 420 joke, probably is between him and Elon, he's holding on to it but he's not alone. Everyone is gonna hold on to their shares because well, no, he said, his clients are calling to get out. So he that's, that's, that's, that's nice. That's that's, that makes for a really good headlines until they lose money and then they're piling back in the stock because they still sell cars and people still buy them. But here's, here's another set of enabler's and this is right up, our alley Tesla's board of directors. Yes, I just had a friend today, text me this morning saying, can the do you think the board can get rid of them? And I unfortunately had to explain to them, why? No, like, they can take, but they won't because Elon Musk has 70% of the influence of Colder. According to free flow, analytics.com. The rest of the board members include Kimball musk who is his brother, but if you is on the board, if you are long-time chair of the board, And denholm, if you are Kathleen, Wilson Thompson. If you are Joe gebbia, who's his friend who's just added to the board. If your IRA or Empress, these are people who don't have to be on this board, right? In fact don't want our son, don't forget Rupert's Jimmy Murdock yeah little Jimmy's on the board. This is a one share one vote company. Meaning musk does not have the Dual class power to just select his board members by himself and investors can actually vote he's directors so funny. You supposed to play the laughing sound effect, right there. You're not even on the sound. The audience went out for where they're all good for this segment. Yeah, it's probably better. There's a new bakery in Avon. Connecticut. I think they're there. Getting a nice tree but there is no reason. Robin you've been there for long enough? Isn't this enough? Can't you just be like, I'm resigning. What would happen if the board you like down? Walked out. They walked out like forget waiting to get voted out, just walk out the audience, he's crazy what 300,000 dollars but yeah they got other jobs still get a top of your head. Can you think of another board that the CEOs brother who's completely unqualified to be in a S&P 500 board? You think about another company that has their brother. The seat. His brother on the board, can, you know? Well, I mean special does have his son and wife on the board. Okay. But that's a controlled company know. Yeah, it is a b share company. This is a this is a very special operation over a Tesla. Let's just say that So there you go. Tesla's board of directors. Okay? What else? Why would they, why would they step down? It's not like anybody knows who they are. Oh, well, you can look them up on faithful, analytics.com. Good point. I'm doing right now, actually. Good sales. Excellent. How about this enabler? Every Advertiser on Twitter refused to call X. This is what gets me. The most matte is that I don't get, I don't get how anyone still, okay, forget about the Tesla thing. I don't get how anyone still on Twitter, how especially? I mean, I don't know if you're going to talk about it, but it's actually Bill Ackman, how was he? Well, get to him. Okay, fine. Just all you keep talking but the largest advertisers on Twitter, include Apple who we just talkin' about as good as to the week for allowing you to text your buddy. A heart that doesn't come as a separate text. And yet, why are they spending millions of dollars for their ads? Not just to appear next to anti-semites above tonight, like not Seas. Um, why we are spending that money, but you're actively paying a guy who owns it, who is an anti-semite and a racist and all the horrible things that you don't like associated with your brand. Why you there any sense? Why were you there in the first place? I don't get off. Like it's like, it's my I have the same argument with Florida, like you, like, why is anybody still in Florida. Get out. Just get out. I don't understand it. So like, even need Apple needs advertising. Yeah, nobody knows that brand, that everyone's confused. I've never heard of that. Apple, can't quit, Twitter of all things. I don't get it. And here's number four and you just alluded to it. Bill Ackman himself. Yeah. And here's why. Yeah, 18 hours ago after Elon Musk endorses in a blatantly anti-semitic, Grace Republic. Great replacement here even worse than anti. It's basically like, like not see, it's like not, he's like it's, it's worse. I don't know, I don't want. Keep going, Bill Ackman, who has been going after Harvard students repeatedly for being anti-israel and and pro terrorists or whatever. Trying getting them docs to trying to like never hire them again, he's very staunchly in a pro-israel conversation, there is no conversation, it's just, you know, anyone who says anything against Israel Seated on Academia for some reason, fixated, he actually 18 hours ago on Twitter which is owned by Elon Musk. The anti-semite posts, a picture of the head of Harvard with Kanye West's head imposed on it because Kanye West is a known as clever. So clever. And it's like a joke saying, Harvard announces new Dean, Kanye West, Bill Ackman, reposted that after Elon musk's like what is going on with black men? I mean, he's lost his mind. I but I don't understand how you can justify being on this platform. Arms and wanting to docks 18 year olds for having an opinion. You don't agree with. I don't care if their opinions wrong to mention, its not to mention that Elon musk's way more powerful than spreading. Hey, then Kanye West could ever be, it's not even a comparison believable, something comparison, that he can just call him up and be like, yo, cut it out. And Elon Musk is actually supported Kanye West, all right, in the since he said, anti-semitic things, I mean, he's supported him. But the problem here is that Kanye West was immediately labeled like mentally ill when he does spout. His, hey, but what's worse about Elon Musk is what I am. So riled up about him, is it? He is normalizing hate to a degree. That is extremely dangerous. Yeah. Oh yeah. Well, um, so Bill Acme, you you made my list of potential MUSC enablers a number five. On the list is Tesla buyers. I just pulled this headline from October 2nd, Tesla Factory accused of displaying swastikas and other racist material and they were actually found there were racist symbols found on vehicles, rolling off production line. This is just this is just from one month ago, a month and a half ago. They are they're literally producing Teslas and on the Tesla's their own Factory workers are putting swastikas and racists. Let me kind of ruining me, what else? So why would anyone buy this fucking car, right? Like at some point, don't you say? It's not okay. Can I just let me plug the Hyundai? I know two of you just bought one. I just I just rode in one recently. When I was in Connecticut, it's very delightful. It's very comfortable in it. And in fact, Amazon is gonna let you buy Hyundai cars on its platform in 2024. So go support, Jeff Bezos. Yeah, I just I'm happy about anything crushing Tesla, I don't care. We get there, I don't care how we get there. And then finally, NASA another there, another musk enabler, the SpaceX Starships like NASA to support, sustained lunar exploration, that happened. Just that happened one year ago and they're still working with SpaceX. Now just this is just a short list because I'm not listing in here every VC that's ever backed him and everything. But right now we have some obvious takers Tesla shareholders. You can dump your stock Tesla board of directors, walk off the job every Advertiser on Twitter. Why you advertising on Twitter, Bill Ackman. Up. Tesla, buyers and NASA. That's a tough one. Matt, don't forget. And unexpected today. No, well Ari. Don't forget. We covered on our show this week. This very weak the Reuters. The news organization had a huge investigation into SpaceX about how they are, keeping secret, the injury, the injuries, including deaths that are happening at SpaceX. Despite the fact that they are, they must report. These injuries to regulators and Elon Musk and SpaceX as they're keeping everything secret, because Elon is Elon ice, and let me wrap the Elon thing with a bow here, we spent the better part of last year, like the end of last year, in particular, second half. Arguing about ESG and how was pointless and stupid. And Elon Musk said it was a scam and the devil and Peter Thiel said it was ESG is CCP. And everyone was anti-esg. There's been a whole anti-wolf movement that spawned around it and ESG was castigated because Tesla supposed to be the, you know, the pioneer of the future for electric vehicles and low carbon and how on Earth could it not end up in an ESG Investment Portfolio? How could msci say they're not good? How could S&P remove them from the ESG index? You want to know how this is? Why listen, when you use the data about the people and you use the data that you know, that's not just founder fetish she and we like low carbon. You use all the data you end up avoiding bulshit like anti-semites that portfolio. Let me tell you to Jesse and I are on a project to get all of our news. Lines integrated into the platform so that when you go, our platform is available at free flow, analytics.com. So that when you go to Tesla, or you go to Elon Musk soon, you will be able to see every story that we've tagged and talked about. And you're going to see this long laundry list of horror, that's what you it's gonna, it's gonna scare the hell out. Of you and soon as when we get funding so get investors. Give us some money. So those are your options. Are you voting? You first see, I don't want to go first. This is hard for me. You got a lot to choose from. This is a good one, man. This one of your best, the biggest enabler asshole. I mean, I, I'm the first three of the most compelling to me. I don't Ah, that would be Twitter, advertisers Tesla's board and Tesla's shareholders. I mean, to me, they're all kind of equally moronic. I I'll start with, I'll vote for the one that is most appropriate for our company and for our show and that is Tesla's board of directors. Because I like that, I don't sure. Unless you're unless you're Rupert Rupert, Murdoch's son, and you've created a career and you've generated well off of hate, you have no excuse to to maintain this relationship because once again there will be companies lining up to hire you. If you come out and make us stand against this kind of nonsense is kind of hate. So that's that's my vote, Matt. There easily the asshole is for not standing up to this, this idiot. Just an idiot though. I am going to vote for Tesla, shareholders. Oh, I like it's true. I mean, I sell how much money to stay with us stupid company. I'm agree. You're right. Jesse. Yeah, I'm also stuck on the first three, you know, Bill Ackman, he's such a hypocrite but I'm not sure. And I will not look for NASA then no make map break the time. Don't vote against the best scientists. Hi. Come on. Twitter man. That really Rivals. Yes. Advertisements it is a tie. It's really good and you know it's really good because it's so hard affect. It is really hard to pick. I'm gonna I I much to the Chagrin of the wiha office. I am going to go with the board of directors though because the board of directors has direct oversight of Elon Musk. The other people are all indirect. You tank the price, you you get out, you know, that's one way, you your advertising that's like gets into elon's pocket, that's another way. The board literally has to meet with him, 10 times a year. And you know what he's like, what he's not like. And you've allowed yourself to be cowed by founder fetish and giving him a tremendous amount of influence. Walk the fuck out, vote him out or you walk out. I don't think there's another option. I think it's ridiculous that you're still there, so I'm going With them. All right. Like Well, that was very nice and uplifting. Yeah, now we're on to something even more uplifting. It's good. Jessie, what do you have this week? I've only got two. So, oh yeah, this is a mildly exhausting week. All right, so first story, and you know what? They might not seem exhausting after. So we'll have to bear with me, okay? All right. First headline Monopoly. Go generates one billion in revenue and seven months. What does it mean? I tell the story. What is that? A version it's not directly based off of the game Monopoly. It's a version that this company had adapted yet, it's an app and they've adapted it based Loosely on Monopoly, but they've made it apparently extremely engaging because spending hundreds of dollars playing on this app. Why? Why? This exhausting there are other apps that this has been the case of too like Candy Crush. If you've heard of that. Oh I have. So this is exactly that one because I just don't get it. Like why can't you just invite five or six of your friends over for the four hours? It takes to play Monopoly and play it for free and also have some social interaction. Just I love the same thing to worry about her problem, with Android and Apple phones in the text message, and thumbs up a little heart, like a little bit more vital than like, Blah blah, more vital. We've all we also continuously week after week, read. All of these stories about the loneliness epidemic, right? Like this. Just just to me that that I mean I was already sold that that was that that was your lonely science but this just confirms you could just say one quick thing that yeah. Before texting you right to say that texting is more because before texting I think we were all dead. I think you're right. I think that texting right? I wasn't alive texting, kind of CPR are collective contract. Go ahead just to, like, connect to this, back to us and our data. The only silver line I have about this is Hasbro is making out pretty well on this because they're in partnership with scopely. Is the company that turned it into an app. And I actually don't mind this. I kind of checked them out, they're 64%, female with it. Yeah, percent female power Gap. Horrible, their team powerscore is a 741, so I oh yes, too. Much ball with Hasbro. So, yeah. Unfortunately, they have a male CEO named Christian Cox. But what you do, have a male, and they do have a male CEO. You're right. Nobody here. But there's, there's a lot of, there's a lot of women on the board. All right? Second headline. Damion already mentioned this. Yeah, I'm listening again. You, I picked Janet trunk, how as the first woman to lead, big four firm. This is exactly any idea. Why? This might cause 7,000 years. How many thousands of years did it take? Well, it didn't actually take 1,000 but you Well, it's still not a thousand but it's close. Close the oldest building or firm is KPMG, dates back to 1818, it's taking 205 years. Well, well, prior to women's suffrage and like the early 1900s. The expectation was not that any women would be on the board. So cut 100 off of all stop. It's got 100 off of that, just because of 105, not a good excuse and then, and then you have the next Heaven leading households since the beginning of time. They correct, why? Because how many female CEOs were there in 1818? Okay, stop. So I'm saying, just because I'm saying it, I'm just saying. Your expectation is not that there was a female CEO in 1818. It starts to become an expectation that it's weird. And like the mid-1900s where Okay, at some point, someone's met a woman who's qualified to do this, right? Four of these like just exhausting list for this one. I'm not advocating that will be my third suggestion. I'm just saying like he's just there's some math here. All right, let me be clear. This is this is the progress. I don't want to not celebrate the progress but come on it just come. It took. You just feel like the workforce for these types of firms are typically male. Aren't there like a lot of women, but just so you would know your CPA, if you know, their male dominated. I don't know currently right now, but I would say historically, very male dominated. All right. Well, I'm gonna go first. Yes, the host can do that. Um, I get to pick who goes first and it is me. I'm gonna go with Monopoly. Go, I don't understand like I get Candy Crush because you can't actually like playground real life. Is an only child. Obsessed with Monopoly. I used to play Monopoly by myself. So if I you heard it here, that's the saddest thing I've ever heard, it's free and it was free and I want every time, I just don't really get. So you're exhausted by the fact that there are apps that people play alone. Jesse's edit know. I'm not making fun of you. I'm just, that's the real money to play fake game. They're literally on card games. This happens on, right? All sorts of apps, like, ask your friends to come over and play poker with, you ask, like, why don't you rather give your money don't want to give money to my friends, play for a penny. I don't know why. I have to make some friends but then I wouldn't want to give me wrong. No play for a quarter. I'll go next. I don't really know what you're talking about but I like this second one a lot. I like that and I'm gonna and I'm gonna I'm gonna lean into the populist mouth here. I don't care how far he is and I'm gonna multiply 205 years by four. Because this big four say it, took roughly 800 years for these idiots to point a woman of CEO. I don't care what Matt's saying, and I am exhausted by. I agree should have taken. I mean, it's not 800 20, it's 2023. I don't even know what the hell's going on. All right, well, I'm gonna die here which is too bad for all you because whatever I say that is correct, it's true. Vote. I know, you're exactly know. You don't, you got two stories you should have picked another story. The answer to me is Monopoly go and and look, it's because I, it's not for Ari's. Dumb reason. Like I get Candy Crush, I don't get Monopoly. Go. Me. I was sitting alone playing Monopoly and it was fun. That's not a reason. And Candy Crush is super fun. This is I don't care about all of them. Do you remember him with Pokemon go when like they were families outside walking around like moron's traffic? All of these things are like it's just this never-ending like MiMi game thing that I don't understand at all. It's exhausting that people like are so uncertain but they're real life that they need to. Look at the little thing in their real life in order to enjoy anything listeners shows and said they literally make them so that they're addictive. So that's more exhausting. I'm going with that one. And that's the right answer. Wow, this was a very exhausting category. That's always this. Who won the week this week, by the way, Ari to go first. What? Um, you do have permission to change that horrible music. If it doesn't go with your brand of Hosting, Because Damien did a lot of work picking that she hasn't quite mastered the hosting and the playing of the music. I'm gonna go first, I don't think she has jurisdiction yet. I'm gonna go first. My pick is easy, it's our fancy expert of the week. Alison Taylor. Yeah, the stern business school at NYU. February pre-order. We released that podcast. Yes, yesterday, right? Didn't listen to the interview. Yeah, the full interview went down. Yesterday, was a clip in the woke Wednesday? Yeah, it dropped. We will have. We will definitely have Alison Taylor back on the show but a great conversation and easily my my winner of the week. There you go. Well your president Sean Payne. Okay W stands for you are. Welcome to the week. His response to the rising wages at the non-union plants. Yes. Oh yeah. They've all benefits Subaru. Yep. Yeah. You are. Welcome. I want that as a teacher, it's cool. Yeah, my winner was nuanced because so Kid Rock just came out and admitted that shooting cans of Bud Light because of a trans person actually cost working class jobs. Oh he's not worried about the trans person. First of all, like he says, in fact, he said something like he doesn't have anything against trans people except he doesn't like trans people, he has nothing against trans people. Yeah, he said like, you know, mostly that he doesn't care about trans people. But what he's worried about is the brand is about a Working Class People and like this, like, fit the brand. And it's all these corporate fat cats who were actually making the decisions that are the Real Enemy. So when he shot the cans and boycotted, but light, he didn't Realize this is like his Maya culpa. He didn't realize that it would cost Bud, Light money and they would end up hurting the Distributors and suppliers. So what is working class people who work at Anheuser? But as part of this article, is he trying to get people to start, drinking the brand again, like trying to get people back interview. I just love him. I know, I like this. I like this, your comedy of like, he's new ones his position because he like, look, what happened was, he went out and got more information and and changed his opinion. Look, not about the thing that we care about something else. Well, that fired for this on Twitter, he said, but this is the biggest anti-wolf corporate new story ever, right? I don't think there's a bigger for sure. Well, no, but I don't think there's ever been Anti-wolf corporate action that has actually affected the company's so quickly than this. I mean, this had a profound effect and he's right, it led absolutely to people losing their jobs directly and the grand irony of of it. Which I like the most is that he basically did a stakeholder analysis and he said, I he like the Gap. He didn't realize was he thinks of it as like, I'm boycotting a woke brand and then realized, oh, there are people who work there and I just heard their jobs and their careers and these Working Class People, oh, and also like, like, it was like something. He didn't do anything right and somehow he still did a stakeholder analysis. I just love it. Nuances alive. And well, he wants his alive, nuances, my winner. Sorry, my winner is Taylor Swift. Again, she's everywhere. Now that's 2024 you are going to be able to go on a Taylor Swift themed Cruise. Oh, that's good. You're happy about this. No, it's won the weekend, you just killed the who won the weak category forever. All right, prediction. All right I'll go first because mine is about Elon Musk. I probably already predict this this like 14 times I've been predicting the Elon will step down Tesla but I keep hoping it's getting closer. So Exact same product. I don't care shots. I have never interrupted any of you ever. Just? Yeah, prediction of the week by Damien. Yes, I don't care. So, Elon is gonna fake step down at Tesla. So Matt, unfortunately, the board is never gonna make an action against it. But he will fake step down because he's not actually gonna go away. Of course, he will, clearly still run the company but he will be replaced by an Asian male, most likely senior vice president of Automotive Tom's. You or Matt, the recently appointed CFO at Tesla which happened, like maybe a month or two ago is an Indian gentleman. Oh, excuse my horrible pronunciation but today sounds Mexican that's, you know, help me out there. But those are the two, most likely candidates there, who will probably fake replace. That's my double Yack Arena. Well, I think my pre. Should be that. You're gonna have this prediction two more times. Before the end of the year, I really need him to just start going away. Burn your Tesla too. So I really thought about this and I think Bill Ackman. I already don't like this predictions, you know, whatever. He's gonna take Twitter public. Oh, because he was talking about it early in the year, but I really didn't do it now for realsies. He's gonna fire Elon. He's gonna shut down. Anti-Semitism himself even though he retweeted that tweet. Yeah. Only to preserve it for anti everybody else. So he'll get rid of that one hate category that leave the other. Hey like but then all those people will leave and and there will be no platformer. If the anti-semites can't use it no yes I'm sure you can find something else to hate. The racist can still hang out there. Yep, premises can hang out. There, what is true? Are the Ku Klux Klan, just just endorsed Donald Trump, the next election so I can't believe it. It's shocking. So shocking, Jesse, why don't you do yours and out my? Oh my selfie on. Yes, I know you don't, I know you don't like Taylor Swift. I'm just enough money enough money over it. You might like her in my prediction. My prediction is Taylor Swift initiates. An anti musk campaign. Yes tell me about this. Tell me more. What do you mean? The most disappointing person with the biggest platform. Oh, against anything, the first time she did, it is when that started running for anti-abortion well, and her dad was like, don't say anything Taylor. She's like, I have to Dad, I have to this time. Here did you on the phone with Taylor when her dad was like? Shut up Taylor to come out and say something really really powerful. She's just where are you think? And that Elon Musk. I think I told you when I was down. Visiting didn't I tell you my prediction? Is that the reason why she's dating this hunky football player is that I think Taylor Swift herself is gonna run for president and we'll win easily and be my hunky football player is gonna be the best first hunky man. Ever honky friend. All right, so that means my prediction is several advertisers will pause are quote. They're spending on Twitter until everyone forgets that they're Jewish people and then they'll clean their engaging with Twitter's team to ensure brand protections and then continue advertising. Next image is a lot IBM said they're gonna pause. Why are you? Guys, that was a all these shows are like angry and jaded. Now. The problem out, we need Allison Taylor to come back to unje us. That is hazelnut Rallis and Jenny. Jesse the money was for it already. The data queen, I am your analysts. So I'm at Scotty, we are free floats. Come back next week when we do more stuff until then goodbye.
