Live. From your ESG salad bar the salad bar still exist for less. I'm gonna use a salad bar. You not since covid. You I wouldn't go near anything that was a shared like, Sneezy Den. Was this post covid or any? I used to go to the Ruby Tuesday salad bar Buffet guy. I'm not that it's a businessman Friday show here, at July, 28th, Lane Studios. We are live here in West, we are in the free float Studios today in West Hartford exciting. Yeah. Reaching all your favorite. Nobody. Nobody's excited. Just see the money. Whisper. FF man mascara. No, no, no, no free flow analytics, man. No no, let's Moneyball board Moneyball, man. How about Moneyball? What is man? What if I was an analyst hole in a hole? Okay, a whole man. Yeah. It makes I don't know how I feel about it, but it's better than BM man, which is what it was. Today's weekly wrap up all the favorites story of the weekly list of the week. What else do we do predictions? You know, we got all the things, let's go right to all the things. Are you ready to go? Right to all the things because I'm ready. We can't hear the music, which is why everybody feels weird. The White House announces AI safeguards. With the following companies. Amazon, Google meta, Microsoft, and anthropic inflection and open AI. Here's the kicker though. They are voluntary. Oh, what? You know, what always works. Voluntary stuff. All this is a good good games headline. All the more important after seeing Oppenheimer last night, as a company, I'm a little extra frightened that these are voluntary guardrails. Yeah, we had a company outing and we saw voluntarily saw Oppenheimer, and I voluntarily felt bad about myself. Let's not forget that the open AI CEO Sam Altman, worried that AI. Could lead to human extinction. Yeah. I'm glad this is a voluntary guard rail then. Yeah. All right. Human extinction, voluntary. Number two story the week. This is kind of a for us, nerds Tesla appoints Tony Jew as Deputy CEO, so maybe Elon Musk on his way out. Tesla. So, his name is Xiao Tang Zhu, right? Yes. Um, do you think he went with x in honor? Because X is the first letter. Maybe X is an honor of. So you think his name, okay? Because of Twitter X. Yeah, turn to avoid that story but you kind of like that. Well, it's all the things are happening at once, right? You've got Linda, yaccarino and you've got Tony's, you and you've got X at Twitter, and you've got like, there's a lot of changes happening all at once. All changes and no one cares about them. They're all horrible changes. Yeah. We only care because, well, the journalist care. What, here's what I think. I care Jessie. I think I stupidly made an innate prediction that this year, there would be an Asian CEO of a car company, and I don't know why not, but I think I picked that. So I'm kind of weirdly excited. This might come true, but why do? But that's what you care for your own predictions sake. That's it. We also discovered This morning that we didn't even know here, freeflow analytics, is that Volvo? The car company Volvo, Swedish car company Volvo is owned, 82% of its shares owned by a Chinese company. So Julie, Julie, you Matt knew that, okay? You and I don't know, I'm excited about that, it's because I know things can we can we just like pause for a moment and say that none of that matters as long as Elon Musk is on the board with 16% of the shares and his brothers on the board and all of his backers are on board of every company. He started he still in control. Like Lindy Aquino you don't matter Tony you sure you're nice. You don't matter. No one cares. Yeah. Yeah. Next story. Something we haven't covered at all this week. There's a big CEO resignation and a Polly going on over there in the UK. NatWest, CEO, Alison, Rose, resigned, you guys, anything about the story? I saw vaguely essentially they she was gossiping about a bank account held by Nigel farage. Who was the leader of the brexit party? Yeah, I remember Nigel and that came out, he got mad about it. She admitted it, she was the leak to the BBC. The BBC apologize for the story. She apologized and then she stepped down the Coots CEO Peter flawful stepped down. That's the private bank under the NatWest umbrella. So a lot of resignations going there. A lot of apologies that the chair sir Howard. Why is every chair of a British company sir? What is going on? It's mandatory mandatory sirness. The NatWest chair says he's not gonna quit, here's what and here's why I picked this out because I kind of I'm, you know, I'm a nerd, I'm an issue nerd. I like these UK companies, I like looking at their influencer numbers because they're these incredible democracies Rose. Controlled 18% of the company 18% of the influence. Davies. The chair Davies 16% to see if. Okay, Katie Murray 11% senior independent director 14% really, they all have any kind of an equal amount of power there. But it, what was the Fence. Was that they asked about a thing. No, they closed. They closed his bank accounts. They think it was politically motivated, but really, it was partly because it was underneath a certain threshold. But she shouldn't have been talking to the BBC about it. What did she say to the BBC that she leaked the information? That the reason why it closes, because it was under a 3 million pound threshold. So, there was speculation somewhere that it was slow, motivated, political reasons, right? She leaked to the BBC that that was false. Yes, and was fired because you're not supposed to talk about fire because it doesn't seem like a banking CEO should be doing this any of this. I mean, yeah, that's shady. Yeah, but all so like in the age of Perpetual misinformation, what is she supposed to do? Like she either lets herself, get painted as a political operative. And says nothing, because she's not supposed to. Or she says that's bulshit. This is the real reason and then gets fired for telling the truth about it. I don't know. This one feels like I mean, like, this feels like we are now in a world where that allows Nigel farage to say, whatever he wants, which will be an anti, which creed anti-woke, it'll be political motivation. All the, I'm another one of the conservatives that gets censored, you know, it's the hearings where they asked, you know, they asked JP Morgan, how many accounts are closing for political reasons and JP Morgan's like you're an idiot. Like we don't do that but you can keep saying a thing and then people believe the thing. There. And the real reason of course here's to do here has nothing to do with woke is a mess. Everything to do with risk, they closed accounts because it costs the money to hold an account open that's under a threshold. And again the nerdy takeaway for me is a like, you're saying, what Elon Musk at Tesla boring company acts all the company he runs This is a company that could, they CEO could step down, right? I mean, she doesn't control. This board, doesn't control. The company 18% means that a CEO can screw up and leave. That's what it look. I'm gonna say it's possible. I don't know all of the details and there's a lot of other like shady stuff that might have happened and she shouldn't have talked about whatever, but on the surface. It sounds like what's happening is one side generally, conservative can say whatever they want and the other side that tries to correct the record is the one that gets in trouble for correcting the record, which is bananas, it's a little bananas. Yeah, I didn't pay attention to the story and I hope I summarize this one. Well, because I don't like we had, I didn't I don't like the fourth big story of the week. Barbie the movie Barbie. Yeah. Slammed by conservatives as a man hating woke propaganda a mid box office. That was cool. Mmm. That's the latest addition to our woke Wars that one I hope data worse. Now I only read worth it or woke for my what do they remember what they said about? Yeah, they did. They said, let me, let me look it up quickly. I had a really great really great. Great lines it finish up and then we'll come back. I mean, I haven't seen Barbie, I can understand why they'd say, don't see that one. Having seen Oppenheimer. I think they would hate Oppenheimer, too. I think they hate everything honestly but it's science-based know, but it's Pro scientists and it's they they liked and higher. But okay. They were they, the problems they had was like, they had like, bombs being drawn line. So you want people. Do you remember the part where the woman is trying to come in? It's like all men like at Los Alamos and this woman comes in. That's the one thing that was like, the woke thing. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. So, um, but so In Barbie the my favorite worth it or woke? I'm take away. No, was this is a quote, I'm reading. The Barbies are utterly dismissive of the Kens and their feelings to the point of emotional abuse mascula. Yeah, until the Ken's begin to realize they have agency. Once. The men, realize their strengths and desires to Barbies immediately are immediately robbed of their will and become Stepford Wives. Like this is the, this is their woke elements, and then, in the end, the Barbies resort to being passively aggressive manipulative and using their sexuality to trick the men and to giving them their power back. Like, isn't that the social, the social, isn't it? All the irony, like the social commentary, the irony, that's the point. And they thought they're trying to say is that 99% of all Hollywood movies up till now been made by men and we're uncomfortable with this. One percent of perspective is really unbelievable. This is a movie made about a generally stereotypical girls toy doll. Four Women about like feminism. I mean made by a director who has Created other feminist works of art, of course, known going into all of those things. It's like unlike Bud Light where the argument was that you don't know. You don't know your target audience. Like this is like we're supposed to be on pickup trucks. This is Greta Gerwig doing a movie about a girl's doll traditionally Girls Doll. Yeah. Like what, what was your expectation? What was your expectation? Looking at the audience from last night? It's women going with big smiles wearing pink. Like what it should this be a movie made for me? I mean women hating men. This is that what you want the movie is but it's anyone can see it and it's a suppose I haven't seen yet. But it my wife saw it and she said, it was fabulous. She said everybody should see it. It's like, it's great. It's a funny interesting movie, it's clever. It's like light-hearted whatever. Just like lose your fucking mind about it being a Four. Women is the Final story of the week is our, our guests, our guests from our show, ESG month, guest representative from Illinois. Sean Caston. Yes, that's right. And I, and I realized that all my stories every week fall into the same five categories, you ready? I guess I'm just like a broken record one. Something related to the eventual destruction of humanity because of unregulated protecting dictatorship. Okay? Yeah, that's one story. Two, some level of free flow self-promotion. You guessed three musk Elon Musk? Yeah, that's a guarantee for some, you know, stupid CEO scandal in five some anti-walk anti issue War. That's all I have to talk about. Well, isn't that all that ever happened? I guess that's not what you talked about. Self-promotion is the one you can probably have a quick like, take on what the story of the week is here. My vote, you realistic so he could be interesting, vote. Um, notice that I didn't pick Twitter changing the same day x because give me a break, although I do like that, the X trademark is owned by everybody else in the world, probably by Marcus off and metaform, they had to steal the X handle back from a user. They basically just took it and said, take something else more than the HQ. I'm gonna go with our guest, Sean Caston. Oh, I love Sean, but I'm gonna go with Barbie. Oh, I mean, I think the conversation was all about Barbie everywhere even though it's relatively immaterial to the universe, I do think that was like the store like the fact that it's slammed, I'd rather I love that fabulous. I like that. Like the focus is so misplaced rather than on like a fun movie that More or less is designed for women, but anyone can enjoy, but it's a fun movie. I like that we're so snowflakey that even the headlines are like Barbie was slammed by the console but like it. Jesse, I did not want to see this movie. but, Now that I see it called man-hating woke propaganda. I want to see them. Yeah so I appreciate that headline I gotta break the tie here. Pick something, totally different. All of these seem like these are weak. So, weak entry. I'm gonna go with the inlet of Oppenheimer. I will go with this. This like kind of weird, voluntary guard rails against AI safeguards. They have no one to break our tie, your brother's not here. I know there's no produce no producer in the booth today but what that means Damien's, the producer in the booth so the winner is a gift card. I do bitch about this constantly, right, like where are where is the regulation and But it but it's voluntary. I know, I know. All right, which means you know what we mean, no one wins and everyone loses. So let's go on. The crowdsource. Oh yeah. In honor of Art. I did not just everyone knows, there's nothing good. Everyone knows at home, I met Ari's baby today and I'm very excited about it. Um I I can do a good list on the week on the fly, right? Okay, first Only fans Billboards, in London, replaced with oily fans. Raising awareness of BP, CEO is paid doubling. So let me explain. That's right there. I have photo. Well, you guys are only fans is okay, explain to everybody else. Okay. Well it's like a what is a Sexy platform. Just he was like it's sexy place if you'd explain exactly what it is. You say it's a sexy place. Okay? Be it. So that the photo that I have that accompanies, this from the article is BP CEO Bernard. Looney, sure, shirtless. With like the logos all over his nipples and it says, Bernard's packages bowling and so is your gas. Bill BP, CEO burn our Looney's. Paid doubled to 10 million pounds in 2022. While many of us couldn't afford to heat our homes and they replaced the only fans logo Bailey fans. That's funny. Yeah. CEO pay, which is, I can't argue with this. This is great, is right in our lane. So what do you mean it replaced? So there wasn't only fans. So they just painted over it or something. No, they just put theirs right, right? Yeah. It's where only fans. How do you argue with this? I mean, this is a home run. So, what did you have if that's the home run? I had Greta gerwig's Barbie best opening weekend for female directed film ever. Although, you know, here's where it gets sad. Now we're like already back into the S&P 500, sad, female CEO numbers of the 200. Biggest opening weekends. Domestic box office history, only 11, a directed by women and three of those are co-directed by a man. That's how few according to my numbers. It's what eight out of 200 were directed by a woman ate that sounds like this the Fortune 500 saying, yeah, I mean, that's crazy. That's and then I was and I'm feeling good about this 162 million. Dollars over the weekend for Barbie, but even that number is only the 20th. Biggest all-time the number one is Avengers endgame which made more than double $357 million dollars. So anyway it's it's progressed I suppose but this is goodly. Yes, so made me feel, I don't know, I I that a woman. Came up with the biggest box office weekend of the year. Not based. I know it's based on a dumb toy, but not based on a comic book or like Star Wars. I I that's refreshing. Yes, it's not refreshing this of the way, it's okay. Oh yeah. That was my good list. I'm gonna say good list of the week is the power of the business pants podcast. And I'm going to say that because Vivic Rama Swami is currently tied with the santis in the polls, he was on this show. We talked about anti. Yes, she and Sean cast and now is a future presidential candidate. That's what I'm calling that because he was on business pants, I'm just saying the power of businessman. Well, telling a lot of people about how great Sean costin was, you might be right. I, I think that guy is he seemed like a reasonable human being. Yeah, he has a like, so those are your three. You've got oily fans. Barbie best opening weekend and the power of business pants and just to be to be truthful about this is that Matt? And I are very honest about what we do here. And I I'm not I was really pre-production. I was worried that the representative would suck. Yeah, you are many times. Yeah, you what do we do? When he sucks? Yeah, we came up with a game that we were worried that, you know, like this really do talking points, talking points, created for him about something a subject. ESG, you know, there's nothing about but he did not stop. He did not at all at all. I even told my wife I was like, I am presently surprised pleasantly surprised is an adult in Congress. You gotta vote Justice the week, I'm gonna vote for my own I mean I do like fans always gonna just what do you have, Matt, what's your goal? I'll in order for you to break a tie. I'm gonna vote for the power of business pants. It should be obvious when I'm gonna vote for weak. I how often do we get a CEO with a shirt off? Although that's his body. That I'm thinking about it, right? I could be, I don't know maybe him on a beach in Spain. Maybe Photoshop if it's not yeah, maybe he's on Mickey. All right that means oily fans is the winner. She's protesting CEO. Pay is fun. Yeah, it's such a fun way to like for goodly is the week raise awareness love which means we're on to Here we have. How many assholes do I have? I think I have three sons know. It's three it's three. It's just three. First up is really quick. The Business Roundtable back as a potential asshole. We haven't had the Business Roundtable as asshole the week in, Like two years, that's because the entire woke movement took over and we didn't know how to talk with the business. Here's why this is Round Table is back. They put out a statement. The Business Roundtable statement, Business Roundtable, welcomes house action to protect shareholders and promote sound corporate governance practices in the wake of the house hearings for ESG month, in which they are severing all shareholder rights. They basically want you'd have to ask Mommy. If you can vote, you have to beg a company. If it's okay, they want to get rid of shareholder proposals almost entirely. This is the statement Business Roundtable and this is almost the statement in its entirety. It was like two paragraphs Business Roundtable, applauds the US House Financial Services committee for its ongoing commitment to reform, proxy voting and Cheryl to proposal processes, provide vital, oversight of proxy advisory firms and serve as a check on the SCC. Systematic regulatory overreach. This is just a nod to the they basically said Republicans, thank you for gutting. Thank you for gutting, ESG and shareholder. Rights. That's what they said. When the in 2019 when they released their statement on the purpose of a corporation basically allowing themselves with stakeholder capitalism. It was chaired by Chief Mueller Supreme Jamie Dimensions who are the current chair of the business. The current chair of the Business Roundtable is married Barra of General Motors. That's right. And just so you know who else is on the Business Roundtable which who subscribes to the gutting of shareholder rights. These are people who are cool with it and includes Craig Arnold of Eaton, Corey, CEO of Best. Buy. What about the Tim Cook? Are these signatures, these are the board. Here's on here, Rosalind Brewer, Walgreens CEO, Jamie dimon Miller, and chief still on the board, okay? It's big. It's like, you know, like 20 people on it but you've got American Express, CEO PayPal. CEO Procter & Gamble, CEO, Walmart CEO, United Airlines CEO. I'm trying to remember that where there were other issues at GM where they were not, honoring shareholder vote, were there not things that were passed there. That Mary Baer was not. I'm trying to, I don't know about Cheryl of votes, but she wouldn't meet with the Union that I remember. But I thought there was a zombie director situation or some Sheryl proposal that passed that she didn't honor all not a zombie director to my memory but you might be right. Oh, look it up. The mission of the Business Roundtable, what fun? What's the sexy time? I believe, that's what they said. Sexy time on oily fans is their mission know. The Business Roundtable is it's like hundreds of CEOs getting together to talk about Chamber of Commerce for CEO effectively. Yeah, well again in 2019, they basically aligned themselves with Stakeholder capitalism. But then they've since completely backed off of those things. This is the cowering of the American CEO. The, this is what they say. Business Roundtable, has served as quote, the voice of America's leading CEOs in Washington. So, it's effectively, a lobbying group for CEOs of massive organizations. The CEOs are the ones who are supposed to be Pro stakeholder capitalism. And all about the ESG, and we have Target, CEO talking about how much money they made, because of Dei. We've got like. And now they're out there saying, what we like is Republicans gutting shareholder rights, go with ESG. They kind of go with the wind. It's really, it's really special branch that they like to stand on which is whatever suits us. Whenever we feel like because I remember originally in 2019, Larry Fink was sort of at the center of that repurpose statement, right? So, Just Like Larry Fink. I are they kind of just going the other way because they're feeling the political pressures that what you're suggesting. I mean, it makes you, they either didn't believe in the idea of stakeholder capitalism, then, or they don't believe in this. Now that there were there, glomming onto something that was inevitable. But very clearly, this is like, this is a thumb in the air which way you know who who's got the most power right now. Stakeholders then. And now it's the Republican listen to our interview with Sean Caston. Yeah, because there are adults there. Number two up. This is the long one it's techno. This is the long one Tech bro. Group think. And here's why, a couple of the big Tech firms announced their earnings. We got more coming, but the check earnings have been Stellar. Everybody's up horse this big year. Yeah, big year for everybody because they fired everyone, they have. And, and yeah I generated hype or earnings are earnings are up. This is actual money that they made. Right. Here's a headline. Mark, Zuckerberg is 9 billion richer after earnings and is more than doubled his net worth in 2023 to 1 118 billion, sweet. Um, they've laid off 21,000 workers that takes that into consideration where it's like, okay, you're earnings are up, but yeah, I mean, 21,000 21,000 workers, so the average worker app meta made about 270,000. Wow, dollars a year times. 21,000 is about 5.7 billion dollars. They cut he's nine billion dollars richer. Oh my God. Just do the quick math. There's he didn't know. That's not populist know what it is. So so he didn't like pocket five billion dollars. What it was is the stock jumped more about double the cost of the employees that they cut. But they've had Revenue, go up everywhere. So what it means is Having the workers wasn't like stifling Revenue growth, they cut the workers, save the money and made the extra right, but that's not the only ones. Alphabet shares. Jump on beat and strong Cloud growth. Alphabet cut 12,000 jobs. Yeah, because after Marx started, cutting everyone jumped on that, Tesla. But after musk cut everybody at Twitter at Twitter, everyone thought, oh, if he can do it, we can all cut everybody. And that's what I'm talking about with groupthink. They went out and they have a mass Exodus from svb, they killed the bank and they create a mini bank run because they have groupthink. They then have a mass Exodus of layoffs, they kill all the workers because it's group think. So here's who's making money off your job cut. This is a free float analytics data alert, ready you've got Zuckerberg obvious, how about Sheryl Sandberg, how butter, she's on the momentum board which is an AI company. They do like Cloud, AI, East, stuff partnered with Meadow or just a separate. Board. They announced 11% layoffs and revenues rows when it's an AI company and AI come here. Cutting they cut workers. Yeah well I think they pivoted into now everybody's an AI right but um she actually she loves working for dictators because Zac is 79% of the influence on meta Ryan Finley is the CEO. This is a publicly traded 67% of the influence on that board. So Cheryl just jumps from dictator to dictator. Look, I I would do the same. It's free money. Yeah, free Bagels coffee Houston. He's the Dropbox dictator, who joined the medical board. He announced 16% layoffs at Dropbox. This that I understand this year, they had because who does use dropbox anymore. Well, they still, they had a 17% earnings beat. Is that true? That's true. They had 17% Earnings beat. He has 81% of the influence of Dropbox and while he didn't give himself a raise for, like money that Dropbox paid him. He's seen his 500,000 shares grow more than 50% this year, so you got a massive raise anyway, Tony's you, yeah, doordash dictator. Also on meta's board, doordash announced 6% layoffs this year, I like the Zuck collects dictators basically, what's happening is a bunch of dictators are on Zoosk board so they all get the dictator, get that, they get the joke. And when um, musk announces layoffs, Zuck announced layouts, then all these people just are like happy to announce more layoffs. Do you think his dictator, bro is for every vote metabolism? They're just like, yeah, yeah, whatever. They know how they know how the system works, but they announced six percent layoffs and he has 33% influence on that board because his Marc Andreessen on Metairie. Yeah, coinbase board as well. 20% layoffs. Wow 152 percent earnings Beat, March 20th. Yeah. Then you've got the obvious Larry Sergei Sundar on alphabet's board, but here's my favorite of all these John Dorr who's on the alphabet board and the doordash board and he's a private Equity guy. So basically, he's just going from tech board to talk for the ride laying everybody off and letting the dictators do their thing. Yeah. Those are the people that every time you sign into Facebook, Instagram threads, if you use Google to search for something borrowed, Google Cloud Gmail, you should think those are the fuckers. I just paid to lay off as much as their work first as they can and pocket. The difference, John door has so little influence on the album board that at a recent poll 8 out of 10, alphabet board members, don't didn't even identify John Dora. That would be doesn't matter. Most amazing, poll, third asshole of the week. Water near Florida, reaches hot tub temperatures, I can't as it hits record level. I don't care how this doesn't get even more play in the new. This is crazy. Not only is this crazy. I actually looked it up in one degree, the asshole. I, I looked it up just to confirm because the headline, says, reaches hot tub temperatures. In fact, the hot tub companies, recommended temperature between 100 and 102 degrees for hot tubs, so it actually hit hot tub. That's the hyperbole. That's not a hyperbole. I thought it was like joke. In fact, it's higher than some hotels. It's it's horribly horribly hot and this is happening in Manatee Bay. It's amazing where Manatee Bay no longer has that many manatees because here's another headline Florida, manatees dying off at an alarming rate expert. Well, I'll tell you why. This is sucks for me is that we're actually getting shark sightings in Maine this summer. They just because they're all escaping. Yes, and the scientists along coupled with the story. Researchers are reporting 100% Coral, mortality in some areas near Florida, as in all of the coral is probably not important, but don't worry, meatball Ron says, quote, he won't politicize the weather, so there is just a weather. So so I don't know who the asshole here is except the whole situation when you mentioned meatball Ron DeSantis I think I escalate to being. Yeah, like but he's always yes, there's your options. Your options are the business round table. Flip flopping, like the wind. You've got Tech bro. Group think, laying off their employees altogether and all pocketing the earnings. And you've got seawater near Florida is in actual hot tub. This one's easy for me. Heck, bro, group thing for me, oh there it is. Tech Pro Group then coming in? Well, you go second, man. I don't vote. It's mine. Oh, you know, I don't, unfortunately, I don't I don't have anything. Suspenseful because that was my instinct too maybe just the wonderful way that Matt presented that one. But yeah, I mean he used so much of our data you can't when you can't argue with that and when you couple layout extreme, I I'm sorry but I find these numbers to be extreme. These are extreme layoffs. Yeah, tens of thousands coupled with instantaneous earnings, right? Yeah, the next minute that's sick. That's a sickness, right? That's your as you're gearing up for the AI. So the AI, there's been a stock bounce because of AI. So you think you'd be, you'd be hiring? Junior the butt, but they hire fewer people doing the AI, and replace the other ones with jump on the AI Wars by over hiring. But they're in fact they're overall under higher. The whole thing makes me crazy. I'm sorry. All right, so the winner there is our check. You don't have a bro group thing. That's okay. I would have probably voted for Tech, broke groupthink, anyway, which brings us to not to mention. I'm glad you point out a lot of ducks. Boards other disinterested Tech dictators, not providing oversight on any level exhausted and it's exhausting as of the week of the week. All right, I got some good ones. So the first one is really, really exhausting means exhausting. Yeah, Steve Winwood expected to agree to 10 million fine, over workplace, sexual misconduct. Yeah, this is one of those ones where we're like, oh yeah, like All right, here, what you're saying? The headlines seems promising. Yeah, right. There's he is going to pay a fine for his atrocious behavior. However, I have two problems. That make two things that make this exhausting. One is that in 2018, when the allegations were coming out, when sold 12.1 million shares of Wynn Resorts, limited raising about 2.1 billion through the stock sale. So 210 times the amount of his settlement that is disgusting. Okay? 10 million. That's fine. Find him, 2.1 billion. Yeah, I don't know why whole thing. I don't know why they can't. I mean you you would be weird to go after his personal. What, you know, wealth. But why can't you attach this settlement to the shares? The value gain from the shares from the company at which that may actually set a precedent, right? I mean, it may and then here's my other problem, is that, under the terms of the deal, when will be allowed to maintain passive ownership of up to 5% of a publicly traded Corporation registered with the Gaming Community, can still be no game, right? You get so make money no controller Authority or advisory role or whatever, but he could still have passive ownership, right? So you can still make me still gonna make money off of this. Yeah. This this doesn't exhaust me mostly because I like, it's so obvious. The problem with exhausting us of the week is that all of them feel like things that I've heard, so many times that I'm not exhausted by them. Like, you know, like I've what you do, it probably is true. Now, I'm with you, it's okay. I just wish there was a more creative way to create these settlement agreements because I, again, I don't think you can go, you can't just go after Steve wins bank account. But you, I think you can go up to gains made at the company, which it happened. Yeah, you could go after the two points. I'm sick because this, this also dovetails with the Dan Snyder Story, the Washington football team, whatever. You call them because what did he change the name, 60 million? The no change in the name again which I kind of agree with a terrible name and get rid of his legacy. But he's Yeah, the fine is like 60 million dollars. So the team for six billion dollars but look at the scale, right? Like this was he sold two billion and 10 million dollar, fine, and 60 million in a six billion dollars. I mean like, I mean, they're basically saying like, about 0.1% of whatever your worth is, heinous male white? I could harass either one of you and pay like 10 dollars Article that I chose it kind of goes a long way with the rant that you were just on. Matt. That was in a rant that was Financial research, but it further exhaust. What Matt was saying was was Is making me analyst? Yeah, but on top of fire laying on all this hole and then You know, getting a lot richer. Mark, Zuckerberg's metaverse, losses past 40 billion. And here's why that's okay, so there are the stock went up seven meta. Stock went up 7% despite the losses of the earnings bounce 40 billion? Yes, exactly. And then they're all so saying that The investors were pacified because Zuck said this is a very long-term bet. I can't guarantee you that it's gonna be that I'm gonna be right about this, but I will do think that this is their action, the world is going. Yeah, why is that convincing though? No, no, no. This is article describing the like, the, the reason why the stock went up is because they made more money on Advertising. They use AI based targeted ads now, and those brought in more money, it takes less people. They cut all they cut 20,000 people, right? Like and they made more money 40 billion dollar losses on the metaverse. They don't care about as long as they're continuing to make more than they lose. No one cares. No. Just passed three billion, Facebook users worldwide. Yeah, he's not gonna, he's Is not going to mess up this metaverse play. I'm sorry, but he's gonna figure it out, eventually gonna figure it out, but that said, someone should stand up and be like, you spent 40 billion on legless avatars. Like what I mean? Like, so ridiculous is not R&D. I mean, no, I, I guess except that. I'm like, I can play World of Warcraft right now, like no one's in there. Right. It's nothing. It is nothing. Yeah, 40 billion. That is so much. I just think about that much. No, I agree with you. But last year, everyone was saying Zach is dead zuck's over met his done. I I just never bought that, so I yeah, in the short term, he's there failing at the metaverse. I just wait, wait to see what happens. Okay, dictator of suck, he'll figure it out. Okay, and more AI news, women will be more likely to be forced to switch occupations. Then why? Because of AI wave, why is that? So this is a new Mackenzie Cole report that examines the USA market trends through the end of 23. And it's reported that women are one and a half times more likely to need to move. Because they're because they're overrepresented in lower rage jobs. Obviously that are going to be impacted by automation, like support customer service that sort of thing. And also blacks and Hispanics will be adversely affected. All right, so so AI created by board white men for the benefit of Boardwalk. Your tagline. Is that your tagline? That I would like that would have been McKenzie. I I'm actually, I think the AI Revolution will hit women even harder because the jobs that are look like they're gonna get automated or like writing legal, it's like it's actually White Collar jobs in which require more education right? And women are true. Higher education rates. I would I would not be surprised if this is totally true and it becomes a pretense. To keep the white men. The mediocre white man in power in positions, where they're running the company, go back to being Housewives and like just cooking for our husbands because we have your baby machines as a really gone. Your baby machines. Now that's what you're, that's what it's gonna be. Your well you that's exhausting in fact in. Yeah, 20 at least 26. You really are baby machines. Got a gerwig's Barbie Here we are. I'm 100% on that one. That's my vote. My vote is. Women being like, women losing, like, literally it took 50 years to get women to a point where they were vaguely competitive in the workplace and the forces conspiring. To stop them are conservatives saying Dei, yes, the most evil and most Heartbreakers. And now when they make gains in that Workforce, it's considered to be a non-married back with that rhetoric. So now we have the social pushback on women, advancing in the workplace, getting jobs, people of color getting jobs and you're going to have a technological like seven Tech. Bros have basically created a system where it makes it easier to cut all the women from the jobs that they have not To mention that psychotic all the hate directed at the you know the work from home Revolution after the pandemic is basically targeting women. Yeah they've been better than most the whole thing that is easily the most exhausting in the name. Oh I'll let Jesse break the time. I am exhausted by these the amount of men in the news, who do these horribly heinous things, and then there's slap on the wrist is selling billions of dollars, worth of value from their company. Like, that's exhausting. So what you break the tie I'm gonna choose AI. Okay women. Yeah. That is the right answer. Congratulations. I like them all though. I picked them like them, which gets us to And predictions and things like that. And actually, everybody's got stuff this week because I don't see Ari with anything. I know, she's on maternity leave but she's really, she's been slacking a lot because of her baby, I'll go first because I have a quick one. My winner of the week, is the representative from Illinois. Sean Caston, I I like to he was he was a winner. I did not pick him. Okay, I picked air conditioners oh because UPS workers will get them. Okay, the UPS strike is does not look like it's gonna happen. They haven't finished settling it. But the concessions look like they will get a pay raise and air conditioning to me as they can. I just know flabbergasting it is that in 2023. They're finally getting air conditioning in those big brown hot. But I didn't choose the delivery truck. I didn't actually choose the UPS workers as the winner. I chose the air conditioners himself. They're big winner because the companies are the like, whoever's making the brownest truck with an air conditioner. In it is stoked, they gotta have to replace a whole bunch of trucks. All right, I'm a weekly but I'm choosing Christopher Nolan just because of the weekly. What do you mean? It wasn't a week late, but I've been talking about barbiel shows, right? Christopher Nolan or behind all. I want to see Oppenheimer last night and we were blown away. Yeah, I was really. Oh no puns. You know was that did you intentionally? Yeah, that was an intentional pun. That's just a fire. That's a fireable offense. All right predictions, I'll go first because mine is quick and stupid. I keep saying I'm gonna go see the Barbie movie, but I don't think I'm ever gonna go. Not, because I'm prediction, not because I just think that it's never gonna happen like an entirely controlled which is whether or not. He sees Barbie, Well, we were gonna go see it. I was gonna see it with Jesse, we chose to see Oppenheimer which I'm glad we did. Um, I have a prediction. It's a bit long. I'm gonna let Jesse go last because she has more stuff and she actually researched our own data for her. Yeah, I know. Mine has nothing to do with anything. My prediction is at Illinois rep, Sean Caston, who was on the show. He has his upcoming town hall in Willowbrook, Village Hall, 7760 South. Quincy Street at 11 a.m. on Saturday, he will be honoring, the winners of a congressional art, competition and the winner. The first place was, Greta, Cerny youth. So, shout out to Greta. I know you're listening from his district. I assumed she was the overall winner. She's a like local high school swimmer. In fact, I'm I linked her stats for swimming stats and an artist and I predict that she will ask Caston oh in the Q&A session? Yeah. Why representative Andy Barr hates black people and his trying to ban ESG and casting will answer the question. Is local Town Hall that he will refer to business plan. His recent appearance on business pants. This is from Wednesday lupus, that's my prediction. This is a drug Idol prediction podcast and in his upcoming time, wow. Look at her passed by artists. Yeah, it's really nice piece of art. Like to know why though, the Andy Barr does hate black people because he, he had an op-ed. I think the Wall Street Journal in the fox news.com and he thinks that ESG basically is higher and black people. Yeah, it's d e. I that's what he said. So, why does he? Why does that celebrate the underdog? We used to celebrate, you know, the Melting Pot all that nonsense. Why does that bother him? I don't know. Sean casting answered the question on Wednesday show. Go get it. All right, my prediction. Here we go. Here we go. Hollywood AKA crazy myself. Amazon. Studios troll by Bezos. Absolutely controlled by you mean influence influence representative analytics analytics by Bezos. Apple Studios influenced by Tim Cook and someone loved us and also a male lion ski, John felt timer NBC Universal Roberts Netflix Hastings Paramount Shari, Redstone, who is female, but daughter of Naomi. Yeah, take notes from UPS and realized, female leaders, like Carol tomay are the key to reaching an agreement. Full of men and their bruises. Wow, I will say Jesse. I'm glad you compiled this.
