Live. I can't I can't impossibly yell anymore live. I'm gonna be very subdued. this is, Sad Damien. I know I hate being subdued live from my covid-19 home test kit. It's surprise Tuesday edition of business pants, 19. Matt business pants corporate theater is taking a week off because Fountain. Oh all right, Maurice! Oh, you done! It's over. All right. And the show because fauci, fined my must class week. That's right, my covid-19 blew up are corporate theater group. So we got to do a show. We have to do a show today. That's what so you got covid. Yeah. And you got like the one I got. Last Christmas. Was the one where I sneezed twice. And then was happy to be in quarantine away from my family. So that I could work and watch movies. Yeah, that was you got the other one. That was the variant that lulled everyone into not caring about covid anymore, right? Yeah I think so. And you got whatever the other one is. Yeah, the one I did. It did result in a quarantine and some shity movies but there was no joy. Well, I was mine was full of joy. I was very happy. I was very dark towards the end. It's I don't think I've had that much time to think about myself, and since college and who needs that. I actually might have missed work. Isn't that the weirdest thing? I actually wanted something to do. Oh no, you just missed us know. That's a lie. All right. But Today's Show. And today's re-emergence called October 25th 2022. I annoy Matt with a game called is this thing that I missed important? Oh, and a new segment ESG Tucker. Oh wait, Cocker tarlson or ESG Walker Carlson or Walker cashless? I don't know. Who cares? Yeah, we do have a new. We have a new course on. It was a lot. Like it's a, you know what it is. It's someone who sounds exactly like me reading something Tucker Carlson might say well you are Tucker Jason's. If anyone in this firm is Tucker, Plans false didn't even go to an Ivy League school. He looks like he did do we even know, you know what the thing. The thing is yeah. Do tell I can drown you out with a good sounds because you can't make noise today like you're so quiet. Let's get to it. Come on. All right, let's do it. Yeah, here's a train. Give me something I go. Okay, here we go. Matt These are the top 10 things I missed that are giving me fomo. Okay. And Matt you're gonna tell me if my phone was stupid or not and we're gonna call it a game. This is the game that stupid or not stupid. That's I don't know actually but I win every time actually it's a top nine things I missed because I just deleted the one about Elon Musk because nobody wants to talk about Elon today. No, one early victories for you early victories actually it's top eight map because I just rebranded number nine is a bonus item. So our Graphics Department didn't get all those memos, so it's 10. And extra credit because 0 Kanye talk none. Oh no, I don't care. I mean, it's too much. That's right for you anymore. I just can't, we never even talked about the fact that Stanford University apologized last week, or the week before, because they decided not to let Jews and in the 1950s, they decided to clamp down on the old Jews. Yeah, well there, A lot of them wanted to go there. That's a pretty big apology in our world. We talk about Stanford a lot. It's a pretty big one that we missed. I don't know is it? I mean we're still working on getting people to apologize for stuff. They said yesterday. That's true. I don't know. 15 secret way of saying another way to say FU stand for. I just want to throw that in there. Yeah let's let's do these. We're at a time. Tiktok. I already hate it. Now listen, I I'm putting this on my short list of. Here's the, here's the subtitle to this discussion is that why why still does nobody really talked about tiktok? Why are we so consumed with Mark's, maybe fail metaphors, which I know was not a failed metaverse. I was gonna figure it out and make us all miserable, but here's the headline Tech talk. Let through 90% of ads, spreading baseless claims about on us. Midterms, oh, There's a organization called Global witness along with NYU, they test social media platforms with false political ads, right? They tested Facebook YouTube and tiktok Tiktok failed, miserably letting 90% of them through. Okay, I'm shocked. Yeah. Can we talk about the governing of tiktok go ahead? I this CI I want to because we don't talk about tiktok. Nobody talks about tick tock tick. Tock is like oddly adjacent to the Indian CEO thing. It's like a way of not talking about a company. Although Come we Americans. Does love to crap on China so I don't know what tiktok avoids? This How does this always Tick? Tock doesn't really avoid it. Do you remember not so long ago that all of America Tech was like China, China tiktok and what I'm feeling your data, what happened? Well, here's the thing, we have spent basically the last five years choosing between autocrats. Do you, do you go with Mark Zuckerberg, the US base College, Dropout, who owns, all your dado or China will run with China? Well, the new generation one with China, the old generation was like, stagger and went with Mark Zuckerberg because they're Angry Birds, they're really angry at Mark though, but see that's how we don't talk about tiktok. It's really easy to be angry at the one guy, right? Like yeah, maybe see that guy? Plus, he's Jewish, right. Like he's a perfect Larry Finke kind of Target, right? It's easy to hate the Jewish guy who owns all your data is this much more Is why Mark didn't go to Stanford when he didn't enroll in Stanford after he dropped out of Harvard because of the job. I think he stayed. I think he applied in 1951, so it actually might be. Yeah, you want what do you have to say about tiktok governance? Is that it just China. Is that yours? Well, the thing about tiktok governance is there isn't much. Well, what about why you were gone. I covered a story of a tiktok moderator who was asked to, first of all, she spent her time watching child, pronography, and abuse and guns, and all that. That's a job. She was hired by, obviously, a contractor, who was obviously not based in wherever she was, she was based in Paris, right? She got paid obviously ten dollars a day instead of, you know, a day. Yeah. Yeah a day or like it was not great and she she was asked to leave her webcam on. And have a no one was allowed to walk behind her at any point, because the company was monitoring her. And B, she could only drink liquid out of clear glasses with what I'm dead. Serious. Is that the prevent her from from drinking her own urine? Is that what that is like to drink herself to death? Because she was watching whatever like the bottle labeled poison. What the grand irony of it is the governance here was not they could have the moderator. They had watching her to make sure she did her job. They could have had watching tiktoks stuff. So that tiktok wouldn't ruin elections and have child porn and gun violence all over its platform. But no, that's not what we have. What we have is fake. Moderation. That we outsourced to people that we don't care about who are generally Brown. And then we call it governance and the governing bodies of this are mysterious Vapors from China. That's what we have. The Facebook oversight board is that the mysterious that is a less mysterious vaporus entity, but it is, there's a lot of vapor. That's really what we're going for. The best part is the tiktok in a statement after it, let 90% of these false ads go through here, at the statement said it, bans and prohibits election misinformation, and paid political ads from its platform. So, whoo winning. Okay, before we move on, I will say a shout out to YouTube detected and took down all of the problematic ads and even suspended the test account, Global witness set up to post a fake ads and questions, so why? Wow. All right, so mildly impressed, when are they going to stop sending me Jordan Peterson videos? Then I think that's a good thing. Isn't it? Who's Jordan Peterson? Jordan Peterson is like one of those like in Sally. Oh, maybe that's not a terrible. That's right. Kind of Comedy actress or something. Facebook and other hand and shout out to the reporting from the Associated Press and Fortune Magazine. Here's the here's what they said about Facebook. I said Facebook detected and took down the majority of the ads and then a few sentences later it said Facebook fared better, caching seven out of 20 false ads. So I don't I don't, I don't know if they got a majority or majority. I don't know what's happening but it sounds like Facebook based outside. Yeah. It sounds like alphabet or the adult Facebook are called Dropout and tiktok is just scary monolith. I don't know what tiktok is. Well it also sounds like the Associated Press needs to Bone up on their basic math. Like majority is difficult majority is majority suddenly is hard. I mean maybe the ads that they caught had dual class right? Voting rights. And that's how do you feel about my phone whether you care, stupid. Do I care? No, this is obvious, you didn't miss this because this has been ongoing for the last know, but again, maybe you're right. Maybe it's the anti-Semitism of Zach. But why that's should have foam all about? Can you name the CEO of bite, dance? I want to say I actually I can't know. You doesn't matter. I suppose, I suppose, you're right, because we know who the majority owner is yeah. Does it matter who the CEO is when like They were talking about the Chinese regime that basically what decides in the same can be said for meta knowing that Zuckerberg controls everything. Who cares if he's the CEO or not, who cares? You know? Zuckerberg's boss technically is the board. Do you can you name the board Jessica Biel? Jessica Alba. Oh that's foreshadowing today tomorrow and I won't get a Wednesday. Our ESG show. I have a very nice segment about celebrity directors. Yeah, I have a nice, I have a nice segment about ESG education at University terrible. I'm moving on. All right, the other story that I always like to mention because I put it in this shit we're sleeping on. Is this the constantly irritates me. I don't know why nobody talks about this. It's a it's a combination of having no directors who understand it or cyber security and it's this headline Corporate Cypress cyber security team. Struggle to fill jobs. There is a round 3.4 million. Unfilled cybersecurity jobs worldwide. Is that a lot? Is this not like a looming, massive risk that's coming. For every corporation. I don't know how nobody talks about this. Um, how many jobs that promo? ah, You don't care about this either. Do you know it's not that I don't care about this. I don't know how to Consider this. I mean, the talent Gap. Number was, 3.4 million is what right? Like what is that is that seems like a lot but also says the talent got Gap grew by 26% over the past year. It sounds like a nice percentage big one. It sounds like a nice percentage but we're worried about it at the board level, right? Because the board is the one that actually has no both both board level and employee level. Just I mean we're moving towards a very AI Centric. Automated world. what do you guys for just ask Siri, hey Siri was I hacked Just don't know how she can no longer overlook. As we add celebrities to our boards. All right. Celebrities sell t-shirts, it guys. Don't I think we've talked about this one but I want to bring up again. This is number three. Top 10, whatever things I missed on this view of your fake list with Blair. This does no points, Flair Airlines isn't talked to merge with X Boeing CEOs. SPAC, it's right, CEO. Dennis Moore, you back. You did Applause, I'm surprised. It's not I mean this is the guy at the helm of a disastrous. A tragic turn at a Boeing is now quietly gonna be taking over a low cost, airline in Canada. How did they let, how do they letting this guy do this? How I think the real news here and this is good one to add for two reasons. Number one, we got Dennis muilenburg back in the news. That's always good for us. But number two the real news is flare is an airline. Did you know that there was a flair Airline and Canada as a country Canada's Wares? That I don't know north of us, I love this quote from Bloomberg. This is great. Blue moon reporting Muhlenberg was ousted as Boeing CEO in late, 2019, after fumbling the plane makers, response to two deadly 737. Max accidents. That that's how their characterizing him being fired because he fumbled the response. Yeah, I feel sad to those families, their feel sad. He would, he would still be there if he wasn't so fumbly, if he didn't, fumble the response to killing 300 customers, they talk about him like, he's Zeke Elliott like that, the Dallas running back. I still don't know what that means. Oh well, yeah, here this one, I just had to include because it's just tickled me and it's, and it's in line with your reporting about Indian, CEOs, taking over England. Is that what you were talking about? Yeah, yesterday. Yeah. We, we the Indian CEO replacement theory is, we fully confirmed it with thank you, UK, for, for making it fully confirmed that this is a global phenomenon. Now, I'm almost looking at our records for the Friday show. We all so predicted trust wouldn't last more than the year, right? I know we predicted lots of things. It's really hard to say. Whether we got that. Okay, I'm gonna look, I'm gonna look. At. I just love this headline and I'm a bit confused about it. Northern Tool and Equipment, CEO Suresh Krishna receives Global Indian of the Year award from Asia one. Wow. I mean, look. No offense. Against family owned Northern Tool and Equipment, based in Burnsville Minnesota. But we got a new CEO of Starbucks lakshman, naresh. Yeah, he doesn't start until next year. So we have the new UK prime minister Rishi sunak and we're giving it to this dude we're giving it to Suresh. Krishna really look at that. Guy's picture. If you're watching the live video, if you're watching the video, the life right now, I give that an award, right? He's that's a handsome, dude. Well, here's why I think they gave him the award because they're they're gonna predict his quote, after he received your word, which I thought was great. He said this is after he got the global Indian of the Year award. Here's what he said. With my roots in India. Receiving. This award means a lot to me both professionally and personally, That does make sense. See how we tied it all together? There I did. It was like it was like a well knit sock. I what is there? A global if there's a global Indian of the year? Is there a global everything else of the year like you know he's the year checking out of the year. It is only Asia, can we? I hope I want this needs. We need to go to Asian. It wasn't Global Asian, a global Indian. Well, that's what he won from like, Global Asia magazine. Or what was it was? Who gave it to Asia one? Yes, so Asia one gave him Global Indian of the year. Just Asia one. Also give out Global Malaysian of the year, right? Like is it all of Asia? That's what I'm saying. Malays. And if we're gonna do that, can we do Global everything of the year? I can't. Absolutely. I we stopping. Speaking of the new prime minister Rishi. How about this headline? The new British prime minister is richer than King. Charles the Third. And Matt, do you want to know his source of money? His, the reason why this dude is so God damn Rich this plays into our hands. it's because his wife. has a point nine percent stake in her, father's IT company, info cysts, Oh, I know Infosys. Sure. Alright, so there you go. We just turned that into a governance Parable baby. I mean, I don't know where we're going to go with this but no, we're coming weeks. We'll do something with Infosys. I mean this is at least fun for us. Can we just give props to? I don't haven't seen this graphic anywhere but our Graphics Department came up with Richie Rich. That's good. That's good. That's good right? Yeah. I like it very handsome. I mean, He's also yet another alumnus from Goldman Sachs. I don't know what that means. This is yet another what does that mean? That's like one of those things, I think that's all veiled anti-Semitism too. Except he's Indian, he's here. It's like it's like a weird counterclockwise. See how the the Jewish culture at Goldman Sachs is even infiltrating Hinduism. I don't know what that is. I don't know why we keep talking about it. Moving on number six. Walmart CEO says it's stores being open on. Thanksgiving is a thing of the past. So Matt I got some questions for you. Okay, stores are now being closed on things giving. This is the new trend. Is this an ESG headline? Is it? Is it? Whoa. To close your stores on things giving or is it Family Values? Oh no. This is the most confusing, right? Tension of Wow. So yeah, Vivic, I know you're listening. Yes question. Number one, I have on my interview list for you now is is Walmart being woke by closing on Thanksgiving. Yeah. Four are they doing family values? Is it about the employees or is it about my ability to stay home and eat turkey without worrying about shopping? Well, you know, isn't it? Is it secular? Like because Vivica would say is that working on Thanksgiving is actually woke because it's anti-American. That would be true. Except is there anything more American than capitalism? Which is, yeah, he's working right? Is and I'm sorry this just seems woke if someone's benefiting, if there is just one employee who gets to be home, watching football and enjoying the love of his family. That seems like, you just freedom to like, you just bent over backwards for your employees, that, that is right. I'm gonna go with that, is the answer and who agrees up everybody. Up next, speaking of things giving how about this one. Texas pizzeria's, Jeffrey Dahmer, inspired Pizza stirs outrage. Well, first of all, everything stirs out right these days, but let's forget that part. Yeah, okay. Well, so they had This is a place called Capital Pizza. Restaurant in Lubbock Texas. They had a pizza called Jeffrey Dahmer, special. Covered in fake blood. There's a there's a pizza. There's like a prop Pizza covered in fake blood. And Eyeball a dismembered finger. And ramen. Noodles representing intestines. Okay? But Matt, yeah, you got something to say. Yeah, Ramen should go on pizza. That's what I have to say. Well, maybe the saltiness might add something, I don't know, it doesn't. It's what the question? Why is it okay, for Netflix? But not for Capital Pizza. What can that what? Why is Netflix get to the glorify Dahmer? But a pizza place. He's a cold. Not, this is you might have a point there. Ramen on Pizza is a culinary disaster. And what what Netflix did is beautiful art? You know, honestly, if I had a buddy, which would be surprising that, I even had a buddy. Tell me more, tell me that, that they watched all what, whatever 400 episodes of Dumber on Netflix and loved it. I'd be more disturbed by that than they told me. They got a Jeffrey Dahmer, special, a capital Pizza. I would be no, you wouldn't really know you would, I would like, well, first of all, you have to ask what the Jeffrey Dahmer special was, which is look, that is Peak capitalism. We just put out a pizza called a Jeffrey Dahmer special. And the only thing you want to know is, if you hadn't reported this, the question would have been. What is the Jeffrey Dahmer? Special, that was question. Number one, what did you put on it? Yeah, and then, once you said there's Ramen on it, then the outrage can begin because now we're like, oh, that's just not only is it to discussing act but it's disgusting Pizza like terrible twice, but if you were like, it's a pepperoni pizza, right with that then you're like, oh, That's that's not that's good. That's great marketing. I love you. And before we move on, what exactly is Lubbock? The capital of Capital P. I don't love her pizzas. Lebaka stand, Lubbock's know. It's the lucky Jeffrey Dahmer pizzas. I understand that Capital. Pizza Lubbock, Texas. How dare you? Okay. Number nine, I guess know, whatever this is. Yeah, this game is not a game. It's it was off the rails like day two of my covid. Four seconds here. The headlines. Here, my fomo headline. Environmental activists pelted. 110 million dollar Monet painting? Well, I mean, first of all, I don't know why. People don't even question. Why the hell is a Monet painting worth 100 million dollars, but that's a whole nother show. They pelted it with mashed potatoes days after a van Gogh painting was attacked by protesters. Matt, is this more or less effective than an activist strategy resulting in tepid shareholder votes? At Daniel, meaning, like, which is the better activist strategy going for getting shareholder proposals? Company meetings, they get like 8% of the vote or just throwing your lunch at a painting. Like what's the better? Look, we're talking about the lunch at the painting. Nobody know, there was no press release for this year. We went from 7% to 8% vote. Only we talked about proposal but he hates me talk about it. Did you watch the video? Did you watch it? No, I don't, I don't care. Oh, I mean well yeah why you have fomo you don't even care because I want to talk about it I don't need to see the video. I watched I can visualize mashed potatoes hitting a painting, I don't I watched the video and like the they were basically saying why are we like why is it? Why are we spending our time worried about this painting being worth 110 million dollars and not discussing the climate crisis together. I get their protest. Which I get and I also if you look at the painting it's on its you're watching live stream. It's right there. Yeah. It's beautiful. Why we ruining it? Like it is like it is a testament to Nature like it's a beautiful pastoral like I'm torn about this one because I I like throwing the idea of throwing match paydos at things and people and but I know well I still like art so I don't want them to do something more like this. This to me like this marginalizes the climate movement in some way, like because it's like now we can go say oh it's a bunch of kids with mashed potatoes. Whoa, potatoes because it's easy potato. Throwers also mashed potatoes, probably easier to clean off of this. Right? Like so that I if they threw like tomato sauce at it. You probably ruin it permanently but that What if they threw a Jeffrey Dahmer? Special at it. Well, that would probably be offended that there was Ramen on the pizza so you would have accomplished something. Let's wrap up this terrible game. Top 10. What is it fomo headlines? I don't. Who cares. Nobody cares anymore. You know, I got, oh, I got a Bonus headline. Oh, I don't we don't have a bonus graphic. So let's do it. And this is literally and figuratively in the shit. I don't I can't make up category. British Airways. This is not actual headline from business news. British Airways had to find another plane. After a passenger defecated on the floor. And smeared feces around. The cabin report says, Lion about tiktok was actually from a report too, from Global witness. And why you think it's the same report? Yeah, I do. I do report says, what is that mean anymore? It's not a report. It means that He somebody probably texted the journalist, something's terrible and stupid. And they just went with it because that's how they verify information nowadays. So yeah. What is that report? Like, and also have you ever been on a Greyhound bus? This is literally the report every way way too many times. Yeah, I mean, isn't this the daily report from Gray is the reason I stopped taking Greyhound buses. Oh well, that's your loss. Let's move on. That's enough from David. Yeah, come on, let's get let's get out of here. One more. Oh, we have a second. We have a new segment from ESG Tucker. Tarlson Which Cocker Charleston? Yeah, it sounds dirty. I was gonna say I'm gonna say this at the onset. This segment will sound a lot, like I'm reading something. That's what, that's what it's gonna sound like. But just stay with it. Okay, just buried the fun of it. Just see, just stay with it. Here we go. Here's Cocker. First of all, does this date matter to you, September 20th, 1973? If you knew battery, you might think of it as the day, woke liberalism was born in America on September 20th. 1973 29 year old Billie, Jean King seemingly beat 55 year old Bobby, Riggs in a tennis match that is now known as the battle of the sexes. It was such a big deal to liberals in America that Jill Johnston, a man-hating feminists who started the magazine. Lesbian Nation, would go on to say that all women were lesbians whether they knew it or not, Did she say this to attract Billie Jean King or just get attention? 1973 was the year women began to tear down what they thought was an oppressive male patriarchy and if this sounds familiar it's because it is woke corporations. Today are Force feeding, American workers, diversity pledges and affirmative action. Quotas in the name of e, s g, or environmental, social and governance activism. These companies think America isn't the land of the free. It's the land of the oppressed. Possible that one man in 1973 would take up this call because six months after the battle of the sexes, a man who definitely probably was inspired by Billie Jean. King would graduate from UCLA in the heart of liberal, California, that man is Larry Fink. He would go on to found BlackRock the Behemoth Wall Street, money manager, using trillions of dollars to push the leftist agenda on corporations today. Was Fink's woke agenda. Born in that moment. Here are undisputable facts, think, just last year attended the Billie, Jean King national tennis center, which seems like a stunning coincidence so that he could sit and watch his favorite sport with other Wall Street leftists and celebs, including Michelle, Obama and actress, and Hathaway. And while think Obama and Hathaway all attended different matches on different days, clearly there was a distinct liberal smell to the air during the games. This is your country where the wealthy celebrate, the accomplishments of wild liberal feminist, tennis players who made it their mission to tear down this country with Manhattan which is what makes this next part. So terrifying. Here's something think doesn't want you to know. The tennis balls used at the Billie. Jean King national tennis center during the matches were possibly manufactured by Dunlop sport. Dunlop is what I call a dark subsidiary. Accompany that if you Googled it you might find out who the parent company was but otherwise what do we really know about Dunlop? Through our reporting. We found that Dunlop is a subsidiary of Goodyear Tire. Yes, the same Goodyear tire. That's on your car in your driveway right now. Terrifying. Well, Goodyear Tire. Got woke this year in part due to the Larry thinks of the world. The company announced they were going to start making their tires out of quote more sustainable material. But it's worth asking now are the tires on your car, safe. We don't know if these new sustainable materials were tested for safety and patriotism, but what we do know is they come at the expense of the American jobs in the oil and gas industry, the same industry who provides plastics for tennis balls that Larry Fink is trying to shut down as part of his woke agenda. And it turns out being a leftist. Pays just a few weeks ago, Goodyear's, Chief sustainability officer a black man used. His Newfound powers of wokeness to get a seat on the ark board of directors. An arcanic makes Metals used by, of course, the oil and gas sector. BlackRock Larry thinks firm owns a whopping 16% of arconic, stock and voted in favor of a new woke director at arcanic. So, Leftist in the pocket of Larry Fink, who spends his time making tennis balls. Woke is now on the board of a Pittsburgh base Metals company, to make sure to adopts, Progressive, liberal policies all while punishing normal Americans in the process. Are you terrified yet? As you should be. Well, you I gotta say you're, you're whoever that is Cawker Charleston. It's not, you know, this is really quite good. That was actually quite you're quite good at that. It's very convincing. It really. I think you mean on the Vivek Empire I'm a little. I'm a little terrified of done Sports tennis balls now and and I didn't realize that everybody was watching tennis matches. At the Billie Jean Center of whatever that is. That's terrible. Not good for woke liberals. That's all we got. That is business. Pants Damien's. Got to go lay down. And I am gonna go not lay down, I'm gonna go do more work because we do work here. What we work on is called board, saber metrics and board saber metrics tells you which jackass on your board controls, the room so that you can vote them out. Just like Larry Fink voted for a woke sustainability officer on the Arctic board, because he does it personally, Come back tomorrow for woke Wednesday which is more like anti woke Wednesday now because I have some great reports Gaming's. Got some great reports, subscribe share, we'll talk to you tomorrow until then. Goodbye.
