You need to make me do it. Yeah. Do it live from room 1104 at the ESG sheep farm, it's Jesse scanlon's. First, official day off from the Friday show edition of business pants. Friday featuring are the data, Queen Old Man, Mooney mascardi. I'm ESD. Oh D4, I want that to be my permanent nickname ESD. Environmental, social and Damian. Are you sure you're not SD? Oh, yes, D. What do you mean? Yes, that might be as Zing to our sponsor, a sponsor thing. Oh yes. Can I just say hats off to ESG for being the first one to use the acronym in a way in a non acronym way. It's not. Yes she pronounced it. It's yeah. I don't know. Either mine's clearly but that's okay. That's why we love them today. Show, we do all our Friday show nonsense. We got even more musk. Yay. And think it is I do have some yay. Sorry everyone. Our Trail Muskie ain't think. All right. I'm gonna start us off a story of the week, you ready? All right, let's do it. I'm not gonna, I'm not doing a lot of filibustering today because I'll start coughing. Matt, I don't know. When's the last time you to cough medicine? Matt. I don't take cough medicine. It's it's really lovely. It's like an amphetamine. It like it's you all hyper and then we weird in years but I got purple drank Matt. Yeah, not recently. I'll do it at that. I got five unfortunately I'll try to go quickly. Oh Jesus Christ shows Jeff Bezos. We don't talk enough about Jeff Bezos Jeff Bezos interested in bidding on the Washington football team. The commanders possibly with Jay-Z. And I'm asking you both is is the combination of Jeff Bezos, and Jay-Z the antidote to Elon Musk, and yay. Is that the Kanye West? Not the right question? No, you tell me you answer the right question is, the portmanteau of their names? Is it? Jay Zoe's, is that where you go with, or bezzy? Or busy. Yeah. Which one is better. I was thinking. Does Jay-Z make Jeff cooler or just Jeff? Make Jay-Z. I mean Jay-Z already but like more business-y This sounds like a racial issue, is it? Oh, maybe depends on the community that you're coming from. Meanwhile. The there, there, there's also hints in the Press about an actual black owner of an NFL team Byron Allen but I myself. Yeah, my sense is that they'll do what they classically do is that they'll include Jay-Z and the ownership table and he'll really have 0.05% of the team. But while problem solved this same day same man, Jeff Bezos. Denies X housekeepers allegations of racial bias and unsafe working conditions so that's what, that's what's also going on. That's the first story that weak. I, I do think the first story of the week has a legs for story of the week, if for no other reason, then it proves why you need our board saber metrics. And the influence scores, right? Because you would know that it's not like Jeff Bezos. And Jay-Z are going to be like a 50/50 marriage of equals. Sure. It's One's Gonna have more influence than the other and can you guess who? Lopsided, I'd say. Yeah, exercise number two, I apologize, but you know, store the week, a Twitter Twitter sued, for Mass layoffs by musk without enough notice. So, I guess these already being sued for laying off half the company. The news is that Twitter, Elon Musk has identified, thousands of employees will be laid off. Representing how identified is how to get there. So quickly, I think, how do you figure that out so fast? Quite a word identify? Yeah, Meanwhile, at Twitter, we haven't talked about this but companies including publicly traded companies are already suspending ads on Twitter after he took over, this is highly unusual. I gotta tell you in the corporate governance world, that, that when a new CEO or owner takes over that other corporations determined that they are such a risk going forward that they're suspending business with the company immediately, but this list includes General Mills Audi. Pfizer General Motors which are always going to talk about later. Volkswagen Mondelez International and others, but those who are that's an impressive list. Any of these people. Do they still advertise on Fox News and Tucker Carlson? I would, I don't know what Tucker but I would assume. Yes. The fox Corporation the fox Corporation has a lot of media, so it's not all right, wing. Crazy talk. Right, I don't know. Well, they the Simpson the calculation here in Atlanta, great Show. Twitter has a very small like online advertising base, like they're doing this on Google. Like, the vast majority of their spend is on Google and meta and Facebook, right? So an Instagram and that kind of stuff, Twitter was already very small. So for them, like crazy on Twitter, it's easy for them to be like, you know, we'll just focus on the other two and wait out to see what Twitter's like, but they can't stop on Google and Facebook right now. So, Elon took to Twitter today. Yeah. And blamed activists for for the drop in Revenue. He blamed activists investors or walking know activists like like NGO like, you know, anti Greenpeace? Yeah. I don't know. He was just activists. Yes. So he glued yourself to a Monet. It's your fault advertisers. So what is soup? The Uber capitalist of our times is blaming other capitalists for having a free market responds to capitalist activity. Is that what's happening? No, he's not blaming the advertisers. He's blaming the activists for pressuring still all part of the free market churn of what it is. No, that's not free. Knowledge know. This is definitely different. This is something different. These are not business. Decisions. Not this is something else. This is something else. This is not business. No, not this is personal. This is personal. Sure. Okay, moving on from that. But well, before I move on, I will say it's another reason to buy our product board sabermetrics. Because again, this is about the audience like, General Motors identifying, oh, Chris identifying risk with people. And that person happens to be Elon Musk. But moving on How about this one? Apple. This is like the antidote to Elon Musk for apple is now valued more than alphabet Amazon and meta combined market cap. It's two trillion dollars. So Tim Cook, who maybe is the the sort of the first? Is he the first or how do I phrase this delicately, we had this new Revolution of boring south-west Asian CEOs. Right. Yeah. Is Tim Cook kind of the first of that kind. Actually is Alabama's Southwest. Asia is a gay man Alabama. A boring one. A version. It is though. No it is. It is if you are going to be A in the other, right? Like if you're going to be brown or gay, Or from Asia. Well just courteous and be the CEO of a major US company. You better be boring as fuk. Yes, so here's the headline that is what's happening. Here's the headline. Everybody thinks Apple's Tim Cook's bore is boring but he's kicking everybody's ass. That's the headline. Meanwhile Theory, how about this? The worst performer in the S&P 500 this year? Anyone want to take a guess the worst performer who is it? S&P 500 is its meta. Metapop forums Mark Zuckerberg I mean from this metric, he is the worst CEO in the S&P 500, that that's something. Wow, apparently. Putting fake legs on his metaverse. Avatar wasn't enough to propel them this year. So that's the third story of the week apples kicking, everyone's ass. And they because of a boring CEO. Number four, just calling this one constant panic. Here are two panicky headlines that really stuck out to me this week. Major glaciers worldwide to Disappear by 2050. I did see that. How about this one? A major hedge fund which is Elliot management? Just warned that hyperinflation, could lead to Global societal collapse. I don't like headlines like that I don't feel don't mix cough syrup with those type of headlines. It makes you kind of sad and blah blah to Global societal collapse not doing anything about climate change. You really should do something about it because there goes your company sinking into the ocean or getting ready by everybody who doesn't have anything to eat because the Earth is scorched. Whatever. Well luckily most CEOs are not buying into the political theater of anti-esg there. They're not you introduced. What did they say? They took umbrage to Umbridge to be cold because they just good business. Yeah. They considered whether they were Huffy or they were going to take on bridge and then went with ombre. Fifth, big story is in the ESG world, It's BlackRock BlackRock to begin. Extending voting choice to individual investors. Also announcing I think this week, a pilot programs to get to hand over more. Voting power is Vanguard and Charles Schwab, Matt Wayne. I'm calling that. Why calling that Victory after Vivic? Well, talk about this. What why why is this a victory to the right? Why couldn't this all be a victory to the left? What do you well the irony of it is this is vivix big ass. His big ass is like the reason why you started strive asset management was he basically said you should represent your values in your in the voting, right? So you create an index and then the vote should be reflective of your values. But blackrocks take away, your ability to show your values and vote. And now BlackRock is said, we have the technology we had. They had it. This is old technology. I had a year and a half ago. They announced. They were doing this anyway. They're just extending it to more people and individual investors. So now they're saying like, yeah, go ahead vote, I but you do have to feel bad for so it's could be a victory for the left or the right. Well, this is one of those ironic victories because vivica's asking for it, but really what he's asking for is not that right, like, that's not good for Vivint because the people who own the money, Wanted ESG to begin with right? Like that they wanted ESG data. They've been asking for it, they've been using it and they're not gonna stop like before by the way. No, it's not going away. It's gonna go away. You don't like wipe the data under like a carpet. Do you have it now? And you want it? Now let's I mean when you go to like wayfair.com, which I've been to recently even though I never buy anything because I don't believe anything, you can filter through a stupid chair from 400 different directions. Caller rating price discount, availability. So we're is she did is not going away just because you're huffing and puffing number of legs people like number of legs. They like woke data like that Matt. Larry Fink says that this is could is a revolution in shareholder democracy. Do you agree with that? Is Revolution, do we have to use the word revolution for everything? That's new, this is what it is, is Is a revolution in stewardship teams in because they're gonna fire most of them, right? Like, if more and more people decide to vote themselves, well, does BlackRock need a big stewardship team or, I don't know if I completely agree with that. I think that most people who use services like ISS BlackRock there. There's even the ones who are on the right are still gonna not do anything. They're not going to do their own research. Yeah, gonna do it. There's no dude diligence. They're just gonna let they're gonna go with the recommendation that black rock and Vanguard I assess. Have you ever sat down in a global market cap? Weighted ETF, and tried to research the 80,000 directors? You have to vote for and like another, what? 20,000 shareholder proposals? Have you ever tried to research that? Um, my guess is, the answer is no. So what you do is you just say vote with management every time. So really, what individual Choice voting is is voting with management because any individual can't, you can't fucking do the research. They'd all have to buy board saber metrics in order. Oh, that's the only way. Speaking of which, I don't have approval from from us as a group, but I'm offering my services to any of our listeners. If you want me to figure out how to vote for you on any of these elections, I'll do it for a fee. Wait, did you for cash? I will do it for cash. Yeah, right, don't lie for free, no free after that team will also take out your trash and he really been. I will I don't like we don't have really been for a trash. I don't I don't like taking up the bags. I like Wheeling things down driveway. All right, when you guys vote for the week, you know, we don't go, here's the vote summarize. What do we have here? Jeff, the Washington football team finally. Looks like it's being sold out of the handy. Horrible, sleazy, owner and CEO. Jeff Bezos potentially buying it Twitter, Jay Z's, a left Twitter, A boring CEO Apple dominating the world Panic headlines like glaciers melting and BlackRock. Now, extending the vote to individual investors. Ari. I don't I'm actually I'm I honestly am tempted to vote for Jeff Bezos and Jay-Z simply because I don't want to rob the world of that. Excellent. Portmanteau of Jesus. I I that may be the only headline that's interested. They're interested possibly with Jay Z. Oh my God. But it could be your headlines about about musk. Maybe he'll be. I don't take it, just combine the name. That's what I want. I want the combined name. Okay, I'm sad that the melting of glaciers. It's you know, that's that's nothing. New that causes Panic anymore. So whatever black girls, Apple super high market cap. Okay, let's every day I think what is the story of the week and people are still glued to this story is the Twitter story and the Fallout and all those show. I mean, The should show that it is, so that's why. What was your vote, Matt? You actually went for Bezos. Know I did. I said I I'm really tempted to vote for the portmanteau of Jesus. That's that's my job. No. I I was saying to Ari that. That's what what's your um It's not constant panic. In fact, I remember you doing literally that same exact story of the week, like, like four weeks ago like this. Well, I the it's that I've been on coffee sir. I'm feeling everything is making me feel like extra I and I agree with Ari that we can't say the story of the week, is someone possibly interested in potentially doing okay. That the subtext here is that we've been covering the Dan Schneider and his horrible CEO wife for years now. So, the real story here is that there he's selling the team, this is big news. Well, he hasn't announced that he selling the truth. Yes, hired Bank of America two coming up possibly. Think about yourself and can we just say the story of that story is actually Byron Scott, catch a fucking break. Yeah, he's been, he's the name that gets floated to buy every team that comes up the United States. Sadly, there are a lot of Rich black businessman. This is the sad state of the world. Can he get one? Can't they just give just give him a team at this point right now and Jay-Z fucking name? Yeah, and can I get a disease been and everyone too? The other part of the story is that the federal government announced the investigation into Dan Schneider today. So, clearly Dan is being kind of pushed I bet to sell the team. But anyway, what's your vote Jay Z. Do me a favor go buy a pickleball league and leave this one you already know that's Kevin Durant and Tom Brady know and LeBron oh look it did not it's it's it's between Black Rock and the vote, which right before the midterm elections is sort of a it's like this really passive aggressive sort of narrative that black rock can say you don't like, What how we do it, do it yourself. So we're not your enemy, we're just we're all about Choice. And then the right can say oh, you're pro-choice, oh well, we are pro-life. And it can be like, it's going to be great. That's gonna be great, but it probably has better. I'm gonna go with rates Twitter, good. That way, I don't have to break the tie which combinations more powerful to you. The Jeff Bezos and Jay-Z buying a National Football League team, potentially or Kevin Durant, and his partner, Rich kleiman buying a pickleball team, which is more powerful in your head. Waiting like business partner or life partner? Yeah, his business. Well that this this article doesn't actually go into detail about that. All right, moving TVD. So story of the week continues to be Twitter moving on guiltiest of the week, the great are you data, Queen? The first one, this headline, this headline was just everything. Yay. Kanye West Kansas White lives matter shirts because two black radio hosts own, the trademark Come on. Wow. All right, I do like this and like the backstory to, this is even better. So Kanye West, he had a Secret Fashion Event during the Paris fashion week, or whatever in late, September and models were the t-shirts, like, on a catwalk that white lives matter, and he planted to sell the shirts because he's a terrible human. But he ended up dropping off boxes of these t-shirts at homeless and cats and Ally. Because someone very smart acquire the trademark back in 2020, to prevent this exact scenario from happening to prevent a despicable human, trying to make money of this slogan. That's Incredible that. I mean I they are that's amazing what a greater that person, right? They should be running, who are they should be coming on this show and saying predictions? But anyway, yes, this Anonymous person gifted the trademark to two radio hosts radio, show hosts to have like a national syndicated. Show because he didn't want to hold on to this thing anymore. And this is before Kanye, even did all of this crap, he reached out to them. He was like, I have this trademark, I don't want it. You, you know, you do your work in this space. Here you go. So I just love that these two black men in the way of Kanye and his dumb shirts. It's amazing. Matt, is this a sort of equivalent of you don't? You didn't? You buy a bunch of nonsense ESG website names. Yeah, I did. I just the same woke officer, what else? Non woke officer? You think one day from something except that what kind of West really did by donating it to a homeless shelter, is guarantee that homeless people will get beat up for racist. Like can you imagine being homeless in LA and walking around with a white lives matter shirt on? Like there's nothing. Almost in La. So what's your next story Ari? That I don't know if you remember. But last year, 12 food companies. These are major food companies that include Mars, Pepsi, McDonalds. They announced a plan food companies. But yeah, go ahead two. Well, they control the Food Systems and they buy a lot of farmers do. So they're food companies, right? They announced a plan to scale up the amount of regenerative farmland. This is a head of cop 27 so it might all be show but details and order to prevent the Earth from just totally dying. We need 40% of Farmland to be cared for using regenerative practices right now, globally. That number is only at 15%, that's higher than I thought. That's way higher than I thought it was like 2%. It's like it's like even higher than there are female CEOs, and S&P 500. That's not funny though. I'm not a little funny so after like Pepsi did their commitment. They last year. At the end of last year, they announced that they had achieved 5% of its goal. Now they've given themselves to 20 30 to convert their seven million Acres up. Yeah, the better, speed it up. Yeah. Alright, let's go. Come on their number for this year hasn't come out yet, but they have been, you know, teasing people saying that they were able to achieve a big step up from the year before the year before was only 5%. So who knows? You know, baby? Seven percent is a big step up. Oh, either way, all these companies that basically controlled the food system, in the world are making commitments to this. Can you can you give us a quick definition if you can of regenerative? What? How, what does it mean to convert the land to regenerative Farmland. You have a quick. Yeah, it means you don't plant the shit out of the same seed in the same spot which crop crop rotation I learned this in the second grade, it evolves crop rotation. It is also planting the you know, right crops legal places, it is planting crop covers. So if you after you get you know whatever your corn or whatever from your field you usually corn, you can plant your I think they're called crop covers and that helps to trap the CO2, India Earth, as opposed to just telling and like doing it all over again, which releases a lot of CO2 into the Earth. And why weren't they doing this? Just just, they don't do that. Because planting these covers costs money and there's no incentive for Farmers to do that. However, these big companies can say, I'm not going to buy your stuff if you're not doing the right thing. And the big thing about this report that came out is that they are working towards a system that can be verifiable. So the farmers, not just saying, yeah, I plant, you know, my covers in between my crops or whatever. They actually have a system of being like, yes, look this happened and it could be satellite imaging. It could be, you know, hopefully from Milan musk sells, I don't know if it's the combination of being posted fog, flu shot. The other day and cough syrup. But I, this actually sounds kind of good to me. I can't figure out how to be negative about honestly. Well, this is this is actually without a doubt in the running for good list of 2030, right? I mean, I I don't already like, I don't, this just sounds wonderful. I agree. That's why this is hard. These are two. I'm holding out hope that the next one. What's the next one? Is my favorite. Yeah, the first one. So the next one, the homeless I looked into the pay ratios and pay shares that I told you guys about last week, I need a little bit more background. What did you do? Where is he voted on this last week? Where did you get this day? And what did you do? Exactly this. Who are you? And how did you get it? This data is data that we collected or actually, this is from one of our data providers, but it is the paint. We have pay ratio data on 1900 companies, for about five years, some of them have four years. But what I wanted to do was look for pay chairs, who can consistently decreased, the pay ratio while they were patriots. Did you hear that? People are actually some yeah. I found some. Yeah, you know, I was trying to find people that Did it over multiple boards, but nobody has done that. Well, it's only five years of data, right? It's only five years of data and there are not that many people that were paid shares at multiple boards during that period. No, it doesn't happen a lot but I did find two examples and one to watch. So, okay, I love this. Michael Dolan don't family of the Dolan, family, one of the New York's most hated families, the Dolan family. Well, I don't know if it's Joel and family, but he sits in the board of Mattel. Okay, so maybe but he's been the page here since at least 2018, and during his tenure He has consistently reduced every year, the pay ratio. Overall, it's been a 48% reduction. However wow, yeah don't ever ratio the pay ratio for that company for the latest year that we have, which is out 2021. Is still 2,400. What did it start? What are the startup in the 4000? It has a console going like has it gone down, instantly gone but that's still might be that's maybe that's good. I don't know. I mean better than it going up and up and up for 4000. For sure, it sounds like by 2029 that is 90% of the pay at all sound, regenerative, pay with like corn, right or whatever with crop cover crop that all. So a little bit, sounds like we were literally the top pay ratio in the entire world, okay? I'm still there's only down to go. I'm still choosing this to be positive. I love what I like is the idea of it? And we could tell you how influential Michael Dolan was, and you for it too. Right now to us, Know you gotta reach out to us. I want to know. Yeah. All right. I'll tell you the other one she closed. One of my computer shut down. So everything telling him telling you from all got a memory. But another example I have is Colgate. I can't say Palmolive. Okay, we just talked about that. We did, we did her. Tarlson did though? But Michael Paul, who has been the paycheck, I think he left last year, but he's been the paycheck for the last four or five years. He also has consistently reduced, okay. The pay ratio and this one is not in the thousands so that's good. His outgoing pay ratio was in the 200s. So, wow. Oh going. He's He's reduced it from something to 200. Okay, I like that he has left aboard. This is a, this is a one of the best. Boring ESG stats. I've heard in a long time and I'm not saying your boring. I'm saying I'm saying, I'm looking to you, Ron DeSantis, I came to believe you're attacking this kind of data because it is really boring, but this is one of the best I've heard in a while. I love he's definitely gonna attack my last person and this person I have labeled A page here to watch, okay? Because this woman has been the pay chair of the Expedia, only four, the last two years. So we don't have a lot of data. But in her first year as paycheck chair, she reduced well, The pay ratio. Was decreased by 50%, and this woman is no other than Chelsea Clinton. Sure. Oh, how many years of data do you have on Chelsea? Wait, Chelsea Clinton is the is the pay is very chair and a publicly traded company. Years. Expedia's. Dual class though isn't? It isn't Expedia owned by, isn't that? It's a Diller property because control, it's controlled. Wait, wait. Hold on. How many years of day did you have on Chelsea for this? Chelsea had only became pay chair in 2020 one, but she on the board for longer than that. So obviously, when she became pager her influence one up, Well, on the board and pay ratio went down. If we had a, if we had a social media team, other than that, just angrily saying things on LinkedIn. We should be promoting this incredible data. That is, that's, that's all I have. That's great. All right. Ah, next next are you, we need to do the paycheck, chair on one, axis and influence on the other access. And and then the size of the bubbles should be, how the pay ratios move. I want to know if influence goes up. Yeah. Does pay ratio change for the paychecks. I'm this is like the greatest thing. I'm just more more intrigued by have other roles and therefore greater share of influence. I want to know. Yeah. Dude. Do the big dogs like, you know, do they do they change the pay ratios in One Direction or another? I'm just really here to point out that this is why Ari is the data Queen is that, when Matt was talking about, you know, on one access, blah, blah. Are you was beaming. I'm sure she was. The biggest smile. I've seen her for weeks, she loves. Yeah, she loves this, she's been down up until but this I think this access talk is really access Access of Evil. Anyway, please vote on three. I have Kanye West getting a slap in the face which is great and food groups doing something and the papacy stuff. Like, this is totally self-serving. But I don't care about the other. Like first of all, yay, gave all the shirts to homeless people who are going to get beat up for wearing white lives. Matter shirts, really wear them inside out. I mean like this guarantee. So basically, The way we can't say that, get homeless people getting beat up is the story. It's a weird a weird. Takeaway from that story by the way. That was my takeaway the regenerative. AG one is the best story of 2030, but this pay ratio one. First of all, I learned that Chelsea Clinton is a paycheck somewhere. I didn't not know that and second of all, You can find out which pay chairs have contributed to the reduction of income inequality between CEOs and workers and you can do that with our data. Yeah, my brain exploded. That's the story of the week for all you sad miserable, ESG analysts this gives you a reason to be alive because think about it three or four know really three four, five years from now you can have even more evidence of which page Shares are affecting the pay ratio. You have no idea. I'm so sorry for the future just so we can capture this. That's your oh beeped being signed for the Future. No, I beeped you being alive. This is a reason to be alive. I'm trying to channel Emma in her long time. Since actually I did Channel, Emma Larkin. When I said that because I was going to say suicidal ESG analyst but I thought that you can't say that because they're all. Yeah. All right. Okay, this is a I actually I'm kind of with you Matt. Although I don't, I'm not focusing on the yeast or as being a homeless thing. I, I just I love the, I love when a prediction comes true, like that, I gotta go. I'm gonna let Ari break the tie as much as I want to promote board saber metrics. This big food regenerative agriculture thing. I just, I'm just amazed that. I can't find a negative on this one. So I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go for that one. What do you think? Are they, I think. Oh man, this is so difficult. I think I'm gonna have to go with food because this is everything. You guys are the worst marketing department in the history of marketing. We're still talk about it. So talk about our incredible data. Because it lost terrible. All right. That means we're back wins. That means we're on to me. And as holy is the week, what am I introducing myself now? The MC is just giving up. You don't need to hear me call Riverside, doesn't have a coffee button and the more I talked to mark off, come on. All right. Absolutely the week. There's come on and they all. Now you're gonna have like a coughing fit, they all revolve around the same thing. First up is Tesla's board. Okay, not Tesla's CEO, but Tesla's board. Usually people, I'm gonna name the people that are allowing the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk. Step five jobs. Probably because he's just doing those five jobs in America and he doesn't want to move to Africa. He's lending town. He's lending Engineers to Twitter from. We're gonna get there. We're gonna get there. One second, these are five. These are the people. Robyn denholm Ira, Eren, press hero. Mizuno here. Oh no! It was he and I know I yeah I and I know this for a fact because I was in the running in the same year here, hero Mizuno won like the best ESG researcher analysts person one year. Okay. The year I was up for the same thing and I looked at I was like he's the, he's the head of gpis that at the time that Japan's largest pension fund. Ironically, that was the year that was in the running for the worst analysts, you know? So the year, I also like always held it against hero, he had nothing to do with it. And I held it against him because it was like, you don't analyze shit. You're just here. The guy here, the look you make the decisions. Don't do any analysis but he's there, a governance expert is on their board. I just want to make sure that that's clear James Murdoch. Okay. We can throw that one in Kimball musk. All right fine. You let's do votes lost Kathleen, Wilson Thompson and Joe Gabby. Joe Gabby is the co-founder of Airbnb I think. Here's the thing. One share. One vote company. according to our metrics musk owns like 68% of the influence but he does not own the vote me, strangely you can vote these people out if you want to Test Tesla's board. What do you doing? Because meanwhile here are the stories just from like the last what week we can have Tesla's recalling more cars, the hyperloop just closed in California that was one of, you know, like things. I like the end of the headline to become a parking lot. It is a parking lot. Now, they turned hyperloop into a parking lot. There are monkeys that have been abused at neuralink allegedly, right. Tesla Engineers are now being used at Twitter, tell us Engineers are basically, those are that's like taking the human capital at your shareholder owned company. And saying we're going to loan it to that one. Guy's other company for no money, you know, nothing Tesla shareholder. You're just helping the rich guy, it's interesting. It's the dumb purchase he made. It's interesting. You pointed out that way because this is a, is an old-fashioned related party, transaction know, that's what it is. Absolutely. But most proxy advisors will vote against directors for things like this, but I bet you the Tesla does not report it in their proxy that their CEO used human capital at another company. He owns that is a classic related party transaction and you're right. I should be pointed out and they should vote against these directors because of it, I mean, if if Elon musk's makes money at Twitter, Tesla shareholders, don't Get anything out of that, but he's using Tesla. I like IP a human capital to do it now, right, like, so all Tesla shareholders are basically helping him fund making money at Twitter and it's not has nothing to do with him selling the chairs. Now, SpaceX still has sexual discrimination problems. They're fighting Tesla's fighting unions and racial discrimination problems. Where the fuck are you bored? What do you doin'? What do you doing? Where is that conversation? So who's the asshole, there the whole board, the whole board. All everybody everyone everywhere is an asshole. Option number two, and this one simple Jack Dorsey. Oh wow. Damien, how do you feel about that? Well, I want to hear the reason first. This musk Twitter thing was dorsey's idea. Yeah. There's there's a lot of reporting about how they were sitting around and said, you're the one he at one point. It's not only did Dorsey throw his own board at Twitter under the bus saying that he couldn't get things done, but he tweeted that the only person he thought that could fix Twitter was Elon Musk. He was the biggest proponent of it. He's now even rolled his stock over. And when you juxtapose that against the goodbye tweets, from the people who work at Twitter were saying, things like, I joined for the culture. I love the people here, all that stuff. The thing that Dorsey built Dorsey on his way out, trashed, everyone, there Yeah. And all these people love their jobs and love the culture and must it was dorsey's idea from us to come in and Must Destroy the internet. It was, but it's all 10 seconds. It was dorsey's culture know, and that he created or helped to create Dorsey built the whole thing that must be weird mantling. It's a weird. I don't want to belabor this, it's a strange story. Because remember Jack Dorsey said to Elon that it shouldn't have been a company in the first place. And then, at the same time that the Handover happened, he announced his own new decentralized social media company. So I don't really know what's going on. Is that my, my guest now is the plan for Elon Musk to just sort of killed Twitter and and have it be a part of one of his other entities. Like I don't really understand what the goal is the super app thing, right? Kathy Woods, super app. So do you think that there's a, there's a ostensibly, the reason why I tested directors are not talking out against this is because Is there some plan? Anything down the road? We're Tesla. Twitter SpaceX neuralink, they all merge into one entity, you think? The we think there's a plan I like that. It's cute. That you think there's I don't want to take this is when people trying to people talk about like, what is Trump trying to accomplish with no tox. Why or Z, right? Like, but the point is that it's not a plan, it's not a plan, it's just stuff going on. It's Richard people with lots of money Jack Dorsey you were 100% complicit in the destruction of the company that you built that made you wealthy Beyond Reason. And that makes no sense. Not only does it make no sense but not only does it make no sense, but no one, no story. None of these Twitter stories that are in the times, are in the Ft or in Wall Street Journal or anything talking about the craziness. None of them say, Jack, Dorsey. It's your fucking fault. Oh man. One thing you you haven't pointed out, is what about the overlap here of two. CEOs, who are, who were like, multiple CEOs of multiple companies at the same time, right? Like, Jack Dorsey stuff to each other. Because what we know about Jack Dorsey is that he's more interested in in square, which is not block, So you have two distracted CEOs, creating this mess for us having enough time, apparently, to go out and have drinks together and exchange ideas on other ways that they can sort of multiple companies that they're there. Any other assholes Last one is an idea. Well, there's two more and I'm just gonna add tack on the fourth one and it's not long, but the last one is blaming someone else. I already said this. Must read. What about your emails? That kind of thing you must tweeted today, quote, Twitter has had a massive drop in Revenue, due to activist groups. Pressuring advertisers, even though nothing is changed with content. Moderation. We did everything. We could to appease the activists. That's what he tweeted today. So Nothin new, by the way, in the business world, I mean, so yeah, it's the activist. It's not that no one wants to work with Elon Musk. That's not possible. It's not possible that the act that the advertiser might be leaving, because you forwarded within 10 seconds of buying the company, a conspiracy theory about Nancy Pelosi's, husband being gay and then deleted that tweet, right? And have since talked all about, like, your history of tweeting is just fraught with conspiracy theory, you know, it's the activist, it's the activist fault, sure, which is really, and activist is really is a buzzword. It's a, it's a code word for for the anti woke, it their stake holders, they're not activists. They're just the left the building but there's stakeholders right. I mean, isn't that really who they are? They're people who are affected by the operations. They don't think of mistake. I'll just a woke PC left. That's what they that's, what is the code. That's what it's a code for and the last potential. Asshole has nothing to do with any of this. It's daylight savings. Can we stop it this country? No, it didn't. It didn't pass. It didn't pass. So it's daylight savings. Maybe our company can ignore. Maybe we can make a packed. And we don't happen. She's not here. You know, who did ignore it? Hawaii, Hawaii was like, that's fucking stupid. I think parts of Indiana, Arizona. Ignores everything, everything also tried to ignore Martin Luther King federal holiday, that's true. Yeah, Arizona federal law is that protect people's privacy, but whatever. All right, here are assholes. Yeah, Tesla board, Jack, Dorsey and blaming someone else, that's who you can vote on. Oh Damien, what do you have and daylight savings? Yeah, I'm sick of all your musky talk. I think you're you're relying on this every week now, I think you need to, although I like the thing, everybody's talking about true. And I like that, you use it, that the Tesla board was an interesting perspective. On all of this, I like that. You like that. You're shining some light on them because I don't think enough people are Dorsey. Know, I know blaming someone else, that's nothing new. I'm torn between daylight savings and the Tesla board but I think but I think just for the sheer fact that Elon musk's terrible trust fund. Cowboy hat. Wearing brooklynite Kimball musk because brother is on the board that alone is making me hate the Tesla board. I don't, I don't know why they're allowing this kid to still be. He's like 12 years old, right. Why is he still on that board? I don't, I don't get that. So I'm gonna vote for the Tesla board asshole yesterday. So the week that would be the correct answer. Yeah, no Ari. Well. I'm gonna vote for Jack Dorsey because I don't think that he's getting any of the heat in, you know, the endless Twitter. Hey, All right, he first of all, he stepped down as a CEO. As we've talked about last year, he owned a very small percentage of of Twitter. This is not it's not all his doing. I mean he didn't own a small elon's elon's doing percent, doesn't he know. He only liked percent know, you don't like 2%. I just want somebody to write up the Jack Dorsey angle you know this, okay. And there is a monster mine and no. Who's the best asshole, that Jack or the Tesla? I really. I like yeah, I like the words that are always saying but I it is the Tesla board. Like every Big diaper baby needs a bunch of enabler's Tesla board, including you hero governance expert. Stop enabling his big baby behavior, kick him out. There's a fucking CEO kick him out to be fair. He might be the one in the room. Who is like, who is constantly asking for vegan cheese on the pizza during the pizza. That's fine. He might be fine. Then when the vote comes, you should write a statement that says I voted to remove Elon Musk, all right? He needs to happen before we get to the end Winner's and predictions. The story of the week is the shit show at Twitter, good list, the week, big food companies, commit to regenerative agricultural. I love that. As always the week, this is a genius angle here by Matt mascara, to the Tesla board, for allowing their CEO to do all kinds of nonsense. Winners. Anyone? Winners. Winners of the week? Oh, no. Do we have that? We we need that one. We do need people. I don't have a work on that. Oh, I got one and mostly affects Swedish car makers. Oh, I could say, Swedish Fish. I love Swedish. Yeah, go ahead. Wins really related to anything. I said today, but In Sweden. They now have the first crash test dummy. That is female crashed. Whoa. Why isn't there really first 2022? It's got long. I was gonna send this to Jesse for her to do the exhausting list of the week, but I'm just gonna buy the way. Hey, now it exists. Now, all they have to do is make car companies. Actually use it the way. So women, Right, the crash test. Am I saying this right? Test dummies, crash test dummies. Yeah, Crash Test Dummies though. There was the average male, right? And they never developed one for women. The closest thing that they had Was a smaller version of the male test dummy which was, it was kind of like a 12 year old girl like Dimensions. So, not a full grown woman and most of the time that dummy was riding in the passenger seat because, you know, women don't drive, no, they're not crash. Even though men cause more car accidents, women are more likely to die and car accidents because it's just not designed, it's not for them. All right. It's not the goodest of the week. How do you generate that long? Right. So in Sweden, their finally have one for. What do you mean what do you mean Swedish cars? I mean Volvo what are they? Just because the car makers are gonna have finally have cars that are designed to keep women safe. 50% of the population has been left out of safety so just this second but bananas not to mention that women are also the primary car decision maker buyers, right? Like that is what not not in our house, but yes, Yes, in your house. Who told you to buy the car? You drive. And my wife did, she made me buy it? That's an odd winner of the week already, but I like Swedish cars. This car is. That's I like that. That's good. I'm gonna go a very boring one. I'm just gonna say the most because I have a pal who continuously complains about the Washington football team. And I feel good for him. So I'm gonna say Washington football, team that Washington Commander fans for finally, getting rid of one of my least favorite owners, CEOs, Dan Schneider. I, I think this is gonna happen. I know it hasn't happened yet, but I, I think this is a win for those stupid fans. Thank you. My stupid friend. They won the week because something possibly might happen some day. This guy is the worst. I'm sorry. But yes, WFT is WTF and I was not getting it really got it. No the winner of the week was getting fired. That's the thing that if you're if you're at Twitter you mean no. I mean like the story of getting fired is now like the only thing like there were like I read about there's some layoffs plan. I think it was at Airbnb. There's a bunch of layouts playing like it just it lifts. Yeah lift had some there's it's basically Everybody's going out and talking about their firing experiences, like tearful, you know, firing experiences the CEO was crying. Every if there's a letter that you got firing you there's a 99.9% chance that Business Insider will print it. It doesn't matter what that letter says, it doesn't matter if it's like for a deli on the corner of you know, your street. They will print it. They'll print every fire and getting fired one this week. All right. I just predictions. Leave the mask off with our Friday too and it was the whole, if you're getting fired, check your personal email. If you're staying on check your company email. That's oh yeah, it was fantastic. And it was all so don't come in. Like, don't come to the office, like, stay home because we don't want your fiery cooties to come into our office. All badge access has been disabled that won the week without pressing me predictions. I got predictions. Are he never has prediction. Do you ever mine? I have a stupid one. You have one already know. I have a dumb one Elon Musk accidentally lays himself off. Oh, that's not dumb. Is that a hole for offing himself? I don't know. Just Ari, just silly. You can buzz me. It's a silly CEO joke. A lot of suicide. Talk on this. What he got? Matt, what do you got? My prediction? Is that Tesla gets an activist investor. Oh like, what do you mean? What do you mean my prediction? Is that Elliot management? Yeah. The activist investor who joined the Twitter board in order because Jack Dorsey had two jobs and wanted to move to Africa. Starts in activist campaign to join the Tesla board to fire Elon Musk from the company that he founded, after getting Elon Musk, put on the on to Twitter, like Egon Durban. The should whose, who was on the board of publicly traded Twitter voted in favor of Elon Musk taking over Twitter. Will now start an activist campaign to get Elon Musk off of Tesla because he owns Twitter, that's my prediction. I mean, they should right because Ellie is you just said Elliott management was one that try to push Dorsey out, right? Yes and I love everything about this idea and full circle, Elliott management is the major hedge fund that warned, the hyperinflation, could lead to Global societal collapse, so they all doing something about it all. So, I think they spent 400 million in equity. They gave it to MUSC for the Twitter deal. So really, this is, this is everything's coming full circle. That was the greatest show we've ever done. Wow. No, hope you're listening, Jesse. Crush on you. It's like that up. That's all we got. We are free float. That's Ari the day to Queen and Damian Raul is. And if you're wondering on the live stream, why their names are backwards. Ask Ari's Computer, quote are quote, computer Damien, let's get a coffee out. Come back next week where we'll be doing more stuff bringing you more stories until then. Goodbye.
