Oh, I can't I can't do it. I don't know live. From Damien's lost luggage on his way to Europe for the holidays. It's a Friday business pants Roundup. Featuring are the data Queen and Jesse the money whisper. I'm full of BS. By BS. I do mean board sabermetrics. I'm chock-full of board sabermetrics. If you don't know what that is, come buy it from us. On, today's show story of the weekly list of the week. As holy is The Weeknd exhausting us of the week, and then some predictions and who won the week and stuff like that. And it's the same as every week, but there's no Damian anymore, Damien. Has passed on to another realm called France. These stories of the week. These are so what's gonna happen today is I did the stories of the week which means the stories of the week and the assholes of the week are going to be very closely aligned because I don't have another way of being. So Ari is our only hope at lightening up today's show. That is our only hope that anybody Smiles or enjoys the rest of their weekend but let's do this thing. Let's start with the knot, Damian version of story of the week and it is really terrible stories kind of a quiet week for you know like common things except for Story number one which is Elon owning every fucking narrative in the entire universe like except for the people that cover Elon, probably true. And And they're all just talking about it non-stop because here here's their there were no fewer than seven stories that I pulled. That were like big stories about some jackass thing that Elon Musk did here. They are in no particular order. Elon vs Elon jet where he sues the college kid, who is public information to track him track his jet. He banned him from Twitter and he's playing on Susan, suing him. Elon versus journalists where he banned a bunch of journalists, he didn't like, who talked bad about him. He claimed they docks him by by sending around links to Elon Jet's stuff, but that's not his Jack going that he doesn't want people to know about his jet landed at this airport. Okay? You're at this tiny airport for like four seconds and you get in your car and you leave and nobody knows where you are is that really doxxing. It's not only is it not doxing but can it be dachshund if literally all the information that got printed is publicly available information about your plane? It's not the key. It's like it. You could look it up. I can go to FlightAware right now when look it up, that's that's where I can. You find all this, then there was Elon versus his own policies at Twitter, because after he banned the journalist, he had to change the policies at Twitter to Justify having banned the journalists so that in future he might be able to what ban more journalists ban anybody. So you, if you get banned on Twitter, which is no one cares about Twitter or this, is that that's the worst part about this. It is so inconsequential for the mechanics of the human race, that that Twitter exists. We're spending so much time talking about it. Elon also stopped paying his bills for Twitter. They did, they are no longer paying rent at some of their properties because they just don't feel like it. Oh, that's they fired half their employees. So they don't need the space. But usually, when you sign a lease you still have to pay that bill but not neon's case. He's just not going to pay that bill and they're auctioning off furniture. As what is clearly a troll because vegetable like he's actually shooting off of vegetable spinner. A giant vegetable spinner is a troll. and his mom apparently versus unfunny employees because Elon brought his mom to a meeting with Twitter advertisers And then allegedly tweeted during the meeting about Trump and after the meeting when an employee did not find it funny, allegedly fired that employee now. Oh my God about that, is it sounds all very spurious to me? It sounds not real, right? But at this point anything is possible and we're just going to talk about all of it. I mean they're leading advertisers. So this is terrible management here. I, I'm not sure they care about advertisers anymore because Elon is now trolling. It's Elon versus his own customers. He is testing whether he's gonna get banned from the Apple store by forcing users to have their data sold, which is against the Apple Store rules and PS users are being forced to have their data sold. So if you're dating to get sold you do you need an Advertiser because you're selling data to somebody right? Somebody's buying data and then finally Elon versus the Tesla board because after saying he wouldn't do this anymore he sold more than three billion dollars in Tesla stock to fund something. Probably at Twitter. I just am so tired. I'm just that was just this week that's one week. It's wow. What are we for him? I wonder how he feels. If he's exhausted, maybe you should take a nap and get off of Twitter and stop doing things that would be ideal. My second story of the week is the tiktok banned, more bands, more bands. How many things can we? Thank fans? Um, we're just to be clear. The tiktok ban, it's making his way through Congress. It's got bipartisan support right now. It's already passed in the Senate a ban on adding tiktok to government device because you have to ask who with the government device has been spending a lot of time on tiktok in the first place. But all of this ban of tiktok is because of China, not because of this headline about the hypersexualization of teens on tiktok. So that's where, at least Banning it for the right reasons. And we just can't do that. Welcome to the world. I wish I lived in Was none of those things existed, I think government phone too, whatever. Anyway. Yeah. The third, the third story of the week which is not much of a story of the week, but I had to put it in here because I made me giggle because Trump stakes and I sorry, Trump water. No Trump magazine, no Trump ice Trump wine know this time, it's Trump's superhero. Nfts selling for 99 dollars, a pop sold out. Yes. When you think that he can't get more narcissistic, he turns himself into a superhero like that. Oh my God, and they sold out and there's 90. Well, I guess we don't know how many there were. There's some amount of people that flocked to this and bought them. Yes, more than half a million in Revenue. Like Taylor Swift ticket. Well, there's the there's a period where they make it over by maybe they'll resell it more, who knows, I don't know, but but a sense of what everybody bought it for is one of them comes with like a sweet steaks option to meet Trump at some stupid. Like in some capacity, right? Like you could meet him on Zoom, he could do a six seconds Zoom with you. You could meet him. There's an option where you play golf with him around a golf with him. The catch. With all of those sweepstakes is they don't pay for any of it. You pay to do all that stuff and you show up. It's just What I liked about the story is when you combine it with the fact that crypto is currently melting down, Sam bankman, fried is sitting in a jail cell in the Bahamas because everyone's realizing that all of it might be a Ponzi scheme, it's fake no one trusts any of it anymore. That's the day that Trump was like. You know, we should do dress me up as a superhero and so digital copies of me that have no value. There's so many stuffers. Apparently people thought that it had value. There are still people that are that loyalty to him that they believe that crazy that's scary. Half a million is not that much, let's be honest. And then the final story of the week, option is the ESG hearings and a Texas subcommittee meeting. Now, this is deep inside baseball, but I just thought it was so funny that I had to include it because these are some quotes from the subcommittee, hearing quote capitalism is the foundation of American exceptionalism. That's funny because these are people. Who called in major asset managers to explain the capitalists to explain why they're doing the following quote, ESG is tearing America down. So ESG is not capitalism. Except that it's the capitalists who in using the ESG. It's very confusing and then I did like this quote China and Saudi Arabia. Don't care about the ESG score. It's like it's Sauron from The Lord of the Rings, talking about the Google, The Google, that's right. And I'm pretty sure. And I said this to Damien earlier this week, if you put a thought in front of something, one of two things is true, right? Like you're either 97 years old, the Facebook, the the phone thing or Racist, because it's the Jews, the blacks, the gays, right? Like those people you usually don't ever put the in front of a singular noun or a plural noun. Unless it's, you know, one of those two things and just to be clear, what that is Blackrock ISS and State Street were asked to subpoena to Texas to give testimony about ESG and how it's destroying America and Texas and Vanguard managed to not show up because they decided the climate didn't matter anymore. Pulled out of a climate Alliance which was not a real thing anyway. And then got excused from the Texas hearing so good for them. Those are stories. You've got Elon, you've got tiktok banned, you've got Trump superhero nfts and the ESG hearing and Texas. Yeah, for so many reasons. And one of them is there how much they can profit and do profit from Like ESG initiatives. yesterday, we talked about McDonald's and how their supply chain will be totally carbonized by next year, and that's because they're buying Power. From. A project that's happening in Texas, where Texas will get millions of dollars in tax revenue. From this project. Yeah, but that's not woke. That's capitalism. It's only woke. When a Jewish guy named Larry Fink does it. That's when it gets woke. But why does McDonald's want to do this? Why are they spending money to get these? Certificates and offset all their carbon emissions and their supply chain. Well, they're gonna ban investment in McDonald's but it McDonald's will invest in Texas. So it's it's you see how that virtuous cycle works now? I don't know why. Any company does. Any business in Texas? I've said this now for eight months, I like I don't understand it. Like, I know you want to go for the tax advantage. I I know cancel culture is not like the answer. That's, yeah, I don't get it. I don't know. It makes me wish I had something to bore a hole in my head. Yeah, oh yeah. You know, I'm really gonna have to go with Elon just owning every headline, every day of the week, because It just when you think it can't get worse, he does something else and you're like, what the f? It feels like it feels like Trump thinks. Okay so you just for you that's that's foreshadowing because that's one of my assholes of the week the that's good, good for you for Reading my mind on how I feel that. Elon Jesse what's your vote? I think I got a vote for that too because the tiktok tiktok ban hasn't like been passed or anything and every I mean not voting for Trump so I guess it's Elon guess I'm not highlighting Trump. You know? Again a guy I know it's like oh next week or we gonna have 10 stories to talk about. Oh that would be great. That would be amazing. Let's see how he can do it. It's a competition between how many jackass stories we can get in the Business. Insider Elon wins the week even though it should have been. Yes, she hearing's in Texas. Next up, we have Ari the day queen with the week now, come on. Are you have great stories only two of which you've already heard from yesterday's podcast but The world's first carbon border tax land in Europe. A preliminary agreement was reached in Europe this week to impose a carbon tax on imported goods. Include Damien. Flies into Europe. Um yeah, he's gonna come in with his own tax. I don't know actually well no he's not a good. He's a bad anyway. Oh the move is intended to help EU Industries, avoid being undercut, but cheaper goods made in countries with weaker, greenhouse gas emissions. And this is how it works. Companies, who import products like cement steel, iron fertilizers, they will be required to buy certificates to cover all the CO2 emissions associated with a products. Now these are typically it's they cover production Transportation emissions but the cover indirect emissions and this is this is a big one. And direct emissions is the carbon pollution from electricity used to manufacture the goods and apparently, you know, to reach this preliminary deal, there were in their online, trying to agree on something. And this is a big sticking point where people. Oh where some of the more liberal leaning, lawmakers were like, We need to include this. We need to count these indirect carbon emissions because it's really important for some Goods like aluminum because it takes a ton of electricity to manufacture aluminum. And that's what actually makes the book of the final products entire carbon emissions. So this is great and this is how the world is reacting. People are pissed us, manufacturers are words that this will make it impossible or super challenging for them to export goods to the EU. Hi emitting developing countries are frustrated. Right? You always hear the story of like, well you rich country, you build your wealth on. Polluting the Earth, why can't we so? They're frustrated the UK and Canada the UK because even though they're in Europe they're not part of the you anymore they are considering implementing their own taxes. So this is I think this is great. You kind of just turned it into a little bit of an exhausting to that the end. I know I'm tired, this is great. Why are people being assholes about it? Well, I do have a question. Are they offset? Is it the? Is it the difference between if you manufactured it in the EU versus where it got manufactured because that would be a fair tax, right? Like if you're just taxing all of the pollution that's coming in but you're still polluting at home. That seems less Fair. It might be a little bit protectionist on their part. I wouldn't put that Pepsi EU, you know how they are. I don't know if it's just a difference, if it's the total amount or if they have a certain standard where it's like, okay if you're up to here, you're good. If you're anywhere above that, you have to pay extra and that line, meaning what they would expect from their own. Like the EU. So this sounding increasingly woke. All right. Yeah, and she agrees here we go. Number two, HSBC to stop funding new oil and gas Fields as part of policy overhaul. HS go. One of the largest banks in the world, it's saying no to new fossil fuel Investments, and is requiring additional information from their current energy clients over their plans to cut covered emissions and they're going to assess their strategic plans annually. Their focus with their current companies, is really to help help overhaul their business into drive development of cleaner energy sources. So for their current clients to prove that they're doing something, I don't know if it. If it will be like, oh, you're not doing enough, we're divesting, maybe, hopefully a girl can dream know. Well, it's the biggest bank to stop doing that, so that's that's pretty cool. and then, I'm so glad Jamie is not here for my third one. but if you're gonna be a billionaire, be like MacKenzie, Scott, Here on Wednesday, she revealed a website called yield giving, Which not only goes into detail about who she has donated to. But will also allow organizations to submit themselves as candidates for help for her philanthropy. So this Florida opportunity, baby, let's do it. Let's go. This website, outlines the 14 billion dollars, she has given to over 1600 non-profits like this insane and she doesn't do interviews about her donations. She doesn't want to give it away money so hard like you know, for ex-husband has done the past, she just does it and now she has compiled those website that Super easy to look through, just to share information. That was her purpose for making this thing to share information. So Just giving away 14 billion. She was a good step towards transparency. Should there be 1600 non-profits? Do we need that many profits? Well, one of her donations that I saw, I think she gave 18 million dollars two to Tacoma Public Schools. So, oh, that's cool. And churches are non-profits too. A churches. Don't they don't qualify. They're fake nonprofits. all right, this We have to score this, I suppose so Jesse. Why don't you start? Because I don't know which one. I like. To really Channel, my optimism and vote for HSBC. I hope that this sets a really amazing Anyways, I'm optimistic and hopeful that they're gonna encourage. Like I said yesterday, if it gets other men that run Banks to compete with them, cool do it. I don't care but Get into the crazy plays, awesome. It's about time, it's fine. You guys are suckers believing what our massive Banks is. It's gonna do. We're just jaded like you are yet. The answer, the correct answer is not Mackenzie Scott, telling us where she sent her money, which is nice, but it's definitely not the goodest of the week. Oh good. She told shit about the carbon border tax and now you're voting for it. I'm voting for the carbon border tax. What I, I just want the mechanics of it or are always like the devil is going to be in the details, but the fact that you can't bring a rubber chicken into like a grease without saying that rubber chicken lit. 40 trees on fire and ends up being a good thing. So my answer is correct. But Ari, that means you actually have to vote for it to break the tie. Yeah, I'm going to the Border tax as well. Oh, Because they're they're gonna have to keep track of it, so that's awesome. So once again, I'm correct twice. He could drive you nuts but it so that Means the good list of the week is the Border tax and now we're on to ask holiest of the week. Which is really, that's the realm I live in. I don't know where you guys live, but that's where I live. So as always the week, there are three options here. And one of them is a bit weird and one of the other two are I've already talked about. And are kind of annoying. The first one is actually BlackRock State Street and ISS. Now Black Rock State Street in ISS where the firms that were subpoenaed and had to show up because Vanguard Diaper Baby their way out of it. But they showed up. And who did they send? Here's the list of people that they sent Dahlia, blasts Lori heinle and Lorraine Kelly. Three women to sit in front of six, white Texas, dudes, and one white, Texas woman and get yelled at about how woke ESG is, and how it's destroying Texas and America and it's giving the Sun a job instead of Texas a job. That's who got sent. Because why at firms, where 80 conservative, 80% of management are white men. They were too busy to show up. They were too busy rolling in money and throwing it in the air and having fun with it. So they sent three women to do the Dirty Work. It's like a ESG glass Cliff where they have to go. Clean up all the shit because it's not Dahlia blast out in the world for blackrocks saying like you know, righting the CEO letter for Larry Fink. It's Larry Fink does Larry think show up to the subcommittee hearing know this definitely not worth his time. You know what? Send the lowly head of special lamb. they had to sit there and like be kind like even if you look at the picture, It's like this. It's like the, the six white guys up on a dais, right? Like behind this giant thing and the women are in like a fold-out table like 12 feet below them while they're like. Can you explain to me? How ESG is a woke mind virus. And please use good words for. It's like it was just so condescending and shity and it went on for like 12 hours. They sat down grilled for we we literally started our day. I had two calls, we did a show, I added the show, and then I turned it back on it, and that was like, four and a half hours later. It just kept going, and it was just political theater and we send women to go do that. So, BlackRock State Street ISS, your assholes, like just just said, if you, if it's If it's worth doing then why don't you send the people who are actually in charge and set of the poor messenger? She don't get to make these decisions. Second. Asshole of the week. Is everyone who's ever written a story about Elon Musk? Yes. But you said it before, this is the Trump Playbook elon's realizing. If they're talking about you, you're winning, you are controlling the narrative, he whatever he does, everyone else is just rolling around themselves, talking about it. Stop looking at him. Stop paying attention to him. Stop writing about him and he'll literally disappear. The board will fire him and his still getting involved. He's going to stop being the CEO of Tesla. That's one of my big predictions for 2023 preview alert. He's gonna he's no longer going to be the CEO test LA because he's there's way too much. Baggage that goes along with that because an activist is going to get on board, he's going to go be a CEO of two private companies in SpaceX and Twitter, one of which is doing interesting things, the other of which doesn't need to exist, And then we stopped paying attention to him. So stop writing stories about him. I don't care that. You think he's interesting. I don't care that he's rich, just stop paying attention to him. It's not that hard, just stop it. and then, for my third option, There's this guy. The story he wrote is, the woke diversity industry is now completely out of control. The diversity industry is the quote that really got me. Oh, here are quotes from the article. I'm not going to give you his name. He's a writer for the telegraph. He's an op-ed writer and he's fucking idiot. So, here are the quotes, look at the Twitter account of any major corporation, the pronouns of this Bank, are she them? And if you've ever retweeted JK Rowling will cancel your debit card, oh my God, and then there's this one. That really? This is the one that just drove me off of Cliff clearly. Then there's no point in trying to fight the diversity Industries Unstoppable rise. In fact, perhaps we should encourage our children to seek work in it too. As the economy dwindles. It's the only industry that sure to keep growing and to offer our children decent paying jobs, security because in both public and private sector's, there will always be exciting. New Progressive bandwagons for organizations to make a big show of Leaping aboard. You know, to qualify as an industry. You would have to make money from this somehow. And just to be clear. People who are considered diverse don't have any money compared to all the white men who have it all. So I did some populist math that includes the footsie 250 is the UK Telegraph so you can baste. The footsie 250 is the largest 250 company, publicly traded companies in the UK, they've reported a whopping 10% of their directors were ethnic minorities. Thats an industry that is The average board for the foot for the three about 300 publicly traded companies in the UK, is 35% female compared with 51% of the UK population and the 59% that have higher education of that population, right? So, and women still in the 2022, gender, pay Gap report made 82 cents on the pound, congrats diversity industry. You're really killing it. You're killin' it. Like what what is what is he referring to just Cancel culture, or general dislike of anybody? Who says something about wrong right now? I yeah. I don't I don't know what it is with saying something isn't as good as it could be. That really gets under the skin of conservatives. Like yeah. Then they start calling you on grateful and and they stopped thinking and they start seeing red and saying stupid shit like that and tell you that you're that America is being torn down. So they can say that America is failing because you think America's not as good as it could be. So that makes America fail. This is the UK though. So, I don't know. Here you three options. It is Blackrock State Street. And I assess for sending glass Cliff ESG reps to get grilled for five hours in front of totally uneducated on ESG, Texas. Subcommittee's every writer who's ever written about Elon musk's shut up. And the guy who wrote the woke diversity industry is now completely out of those. Are your options for assholes of the week. All right, I'll go first. I'm Definitely picking Black Rock State Street and ISS because Wow Come on, come on. what I want to include Vanguard here as an honorary assshole for just dipping. I selling their soul today. I thought about making Vanguard asshole of the week, but that was way too obvious. Because, I mean, in a way that they're smart, right, like they just, they left and Alliance, that really doesn't have any meaning to begin with, right? Like, it's a signal, it's like to the market that they think it matters and avoided sending another woman to go stand in front of a Texas subcommittee. So really maybe they were actually not an asshole. Maybe they looked at the one woman there and said, you know what, it's not worth your time to do this. We're just gonna pull out of that alignment, this And we're going to fire you because we're gonna close down this Branch because we don't need it anymore because we don't buy the way you're fired. Jesse, what's your vote? I'm really struggling because these are all really asshole. Yes, option. You're welcome. I kind of want to choose the guy, but I also just like, fuck him, so I think I'm gonna go with black rock also making. Wow, for you. That's a sweep, BlackRock State Street in ISS sending three women to get grilled is the asshole of the week. That means Because this is such an upper episode because I'm running it now, we're on to exhausting of the week. Okay, first story. Is greenwashing and believing, you're going to get away with it. When you're the largest retailer in the world who Amazon. So Amazon made the claim that it reduced its use of single-use plastic this past year across all of its Network. However, a report by Environmental Group Oceania has found the plastic waste from Amazon packages actually went up by 18% last year, so for So, for years, the advocacy organization hasn't pushing the company to release more data around, its plastic footprint. And the idea has been put up for vote, two times. At Amazon's annual shareholder meeting during the past two years, the last vote held in May got support from 48% of the shareholders. So there are still 50%, it is a lot, but there are still 52% the majority that do not want to disclose anything. So, That's exhausting. That is exhausting. Oh, you'll be happy to know that strive Asset Management Vivek romance, Swami's firm, Has put in its proxy guidelines that will vote against any recycling. So any proxy that asks the company need to do recycling or reduce plastic use is a waste of company resources and not focused on Excellence capitalism. So this is why government like in Oregon and Maine, meet people pay for plastic up front. They do that. Yeah. And in Washington, That that didn't make me as tired as I thought it would, because I'm so used to that. So I know I just like, Are you seriously thinking that you're gonna get away with this? When all eyes are on, you within, like activists or environmental groups and organizations, like No One's Gonna affect No One's Gonna fact check you. We just spent 20 minutes talking about all the things Elon Musk gets away with was, I can't get away with saying it's plastic went down by 4%. I had no one like there's one NGO. Who is actually paying attention they're just they're just so Amazon Centric. And also I'm exhausted at everybody else who buys from them nonstop constantly and doesn't consider. I won't tell my wife. Okay. Second Story pure and deadly greed longer slam Pfizer's. 400% price hike on covid shots. All right, I believe that's a so that audio there is a quote from Pfizer CEO. Yeah, yeah basically. So Senator Elizabeth. Warren Senator elected. Peter Welch said, escaping letter to Pfizer CEO, Albert, borla this week, over the company's plan to increase the price of its covid-19 vaccines by 400% next year when it enters a commercial Market. 400%, I mean that's that's not so if you're insured, though, your insurance companies are definitely gonna Go with them like, and like, they'll cover a lower price, right? Yeah. You pay a co-pay because you're in your copay keeps going up. Where used to be like you paid zero dollars. Now you pay twenty dollars to show up to do anything and a two years from now. You'll pay a hundred dollars to sneeze but they'll cover it. Sure. Yeah. and this is, if you have health insurance, If you have health insurance so I don't know. This is dripping an injustice which you know I got all fired up about yesterday. You do. Love you do like you. So okay, so sorry just said they probably already made a lot of money. Yes. Both warning Welch in their letter noted that before Pfizer reaped billions and profits during the pandemic. It benefited from federal support including building its vaccine from foundational research conducted at the National Institutes of Health. Plus receiving a 1.95 billion, Advanced purchase agreement via the government's operation warp speed A trump operation, the the federal government estimate is that they paid moderna Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, something like 2.7 or 2.9 billion dollars in direct subsidies. They basically made them cash and said, make the vaccine Right. I don't know. You know what the government. How much do Albert borla is gonna end up. How, what do we think is his CEO pay ratio is gonna be next year. Now that he's gonna benefit from all of these sales, they're gonna sell it anywhere between 110 to 130 dollars per dose, and the government has only paid about thirty dollars per dose. I mean, he got one of the biggest. I think he got like a 20% pay raise in after the year after the pandemic, obviously, of course, because he doesn't mean that bunch of government subsidy money to pay for the race. So like, slam dunk prediction. this one also feels like, What a story that literally happens every day, like you could, you could just swap out covid vaccine for kidney medication or. Yes, exactly why it's exhausting. This is exactly why I suppose it is this you're only moderately exhausted that all of these companies are just if you've crossed from, Like exhausted to jaded. What do you do with that? Like, when do you sit when you stop being exhausted because you start being like, you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna just stream the next Wednesday episode on. That doesn't like hurt your soul a little bit anymore. You're just like past the point of life. You see my t-shirt? I mean, yes, she expert. Oh, okay. Well let's see. Let's see if my third story can get you even the slightest big exhausted. I'm sure it will not. Be ready, the first written, Elon Musk. Then I would have said that. Well, you've already covered him down and I saw that in the note, I couldn't choose one of his stories. You just gave away. You just broke the fourth wall. You let people know that we write notes show. People like shows where you break that wall though like the office. Oh, okay. Third Story. The worth of a CEO has skyrocketed 1,460 percent since 1978. Wow. 1460 percent that is 399 times. The typical workers pay the rate that that has got up. Oh, wow. That's I mean but are they crazy? But aren't they 2000% more human now? Like more amazing humans no more effective in LeBron. James like they have like trainers in there like lifting weights more and like have biohacking more, but I wouldn't say know, whatever the management equivalent of having a new nutritionist. Now, they're like measuring their oxygenation levels as they're like well they're signing a check to themselves, insignificant decisions so the Epi actually stated exactly what we were thinking and talking about that the increase for exceeds in quote the growth and productivity profits or stock market value in that period of time. So there's yeah there's no reason why there. Need more singing from Jessie and second maybe this whole segment needs to be rebranded. Its ingesting us of the Okay, maybe, or maybe just week was just especially filled with Injustice. I mean, I'm sure every week is, but they're feeling that way. Do you have a vote here? I don't vote on this. Yes, I do. I do, I do see. Okay, come on. Really see? Oh, it's like You know, CEOs and Leadership, they're just they're squeezing. So tightly 1400% increase compared to what 20-ish percent increase for regular workers and thinking 78, this is the French Revolution waiting to have it. Now I'm already made me exhausted is always answer, correct. He's not the correct. One is. The greenwashing one and here's why. Because lawmakers like slamming, Pfizer, first of all, this isn't of the week you cited. A story from 197 since 1977. So like congratulations comparing this week to 1979, come on, that's not, that's nothing to do this week. This is been an ongoing problem of income inequality for the last three decades, four decades, the Pfizer's increase actually isn't happening until next year. So not of the week also, but even then, this is like weeks away. One of a million stories of like a drug companies, increasing the cost of the thing. The greenwashing one is interesting because If Oceana, which is the NGO. Did not exist. There would be nobody watching anything which means you always need some jackass firm like hours with board members, or them with plastic. Or this is why Mackenzie Scott has to fund 1600 ngos, because you need one NGO for every massive company. In order to watch to say that to see if they do anything that they say, they actually do. And make sure they actually tell the truth about something. So I'm going to go with greenwashing and yeah, thats the correct answer but it doesn't matter. There's a tie just to break the tie. I mean you just called out you just squashed two of my three stories so I guess there's no. Choice. But to go with green. That is correct answer. It's been squashed proving how incredibly obnoxious and persuasive. I am simultaneously, let's end the show with two. Who won the week and predictions bitsy Scott one again. Sorry. Um, again, he's got did not win the week. The winner of the week, actually. Oh, I got one from Damien. Damien, says me for sitting in the grimy, Logan airport, waiting room, a gate E12 for my flight that is delayed because it invades Elon musky privacy. So Damien nice one Damian and but my vote is colonizers won the week. Because France, beat Morocco in the World Cup that's who won the week. The only winner was France. Argentina. I don't care about Argentina, they're gonna lose to France. See, do you have a winner of the week? Yeah. I chose Damien despite his complaining bit just before this because he's literally going on vacation for three weeks. Like. Yeah. And he was saying he was like he was like the first vacation since he's complaining. He's The weather. This first vacation. Like I don't know what that is. That's just like he's been gone for like a week at a time. And that wasn't including the time. He had covid. Like there were multiple like weeks. He's gone because I was running shows so solo. We have solo predictions. Any predictions. Yeah, I think so. Oh sorry for bringing him up again but Elon Musk has a Twitter poll on his Twitter being like should I reinstate the people that are doxxing me? Oh my God I hate it. You voted, that's what he wants. He wants you to engage know, once everyone's gonna vote. No, because it's a troll isn't a problem. Yeah, you are the problem. So what I think the journalists reinstated However, the jet tracking kid, he's gone forever by kids. Damien predicts that he will not catch covid on his trip, which oh, the wrong predictions. So winter, he's gonna come back after a three week vacation and take another two weeks off with covid. So we'll see Damien in 2024. My prediction, I have two predictions. Actually one is that the Elon kid ends up in jail for longer than Elizabeth Holmes and Sam bankman? Freed because Justice that's it's just his favorite thing and my second prediction is that France repeats, His World Cup champion because because Justice that is correct Jesse. Do you have no, you don't do this. So who do you think what? Oh, see Justice. Yeah, I want Argentina to win but France is going to win, that's what's gonna happen. And that's the important business news of this. Week that is free float, and business pants are Friday wrap up. That's Jesse the money was for an re the data queen. I am full of BS, Damien will be back in 2027 until then we'll all be back next week with a few solo shows. We have a prediction show or know of a year in review, show next week that we're going to do if we can pull it off. Otherwise we'll see you next week. Goodbye.
