Hey. What you're supposed to be. This is our most exciting show of the year live from a muddy Friday puddle. It's the business pants, 2023 prediction gasm. You sound like that? Yeah. Is it because it's like a word. I don't like the word prediction gasm. Well, it's a gas of predictions. This is your Friday, show spectacular, featuring rated Queen, Jesse the money whisper and the Lord of BS. Let's see you. Yeah. What did you Lord? Beerus? What were you? You were the BS course but now you're the Lord of BS. Well, I got knighted while you were away on today's show predictions. This is our 2023 prediction, guys. I'm spectacular. Early saying the herd is the best. I'm not gonna say mine are the best minor. Very boring, governing, ESG predictions. Oh well, now everybody's hooked now. It's really one of us need to take this seriously because we do have some analysts. Okay, raise your hand if you use data in yours fun managers, who listen? Yeah, that's right. But you're the lord of the BS, you're the Lord of course even metrics. So you should I use data in our head of research and data did not use data? Well, we don't know that. Oh she didn't. You didn't raise your hand. Always been traveling and I thought well, what will happen this year. That's it. Yeah, she's actually taking the serious amount. You're doing a research report, I'm actually writing the research report. I actually have a it's already like four pages long and I'm only like a quarter through so that we can release these as what looks like a traditional research from that. Well, that's I'm sneaking it in, that's what I'm doing. You'll see, you'll see I'm gonna share this after the show and everyone can download it because I was once told by my boss, my boss is boss at msci. Who that? No one, no Remy. Remy told me once he didn't understand why we would do podcasts, because people don't like to listen to things. They only like to read them. Don't make fun of him. I dare you, I didn't make fun of myself. That's what I read anymore. That's just that would be just he wins the entire show. Is that prediction that, that's not a prediction but shut up. That came to me much quicker than my others. Let's get to it. All right, let's do it. First up is Damien. Who's going to walk us through the most boring predictions he could come up with for 2023? Why don't you? Yeah. I mean I always during the regular shows, my predictions are always absurd and comical. So I want to just I actually want to give some real information to the cause I know we have a lot of our listeners are actual and us, right? We suppose we think we all managers heads of sustainability, so I actually want to get them something useful. That's sounds very yeah. That My first one. Is about. Board level cybersecurity. You bored already, Jesse. You know, I just such a good one, the lack of board level cybersecurity expertise, finally catches up to the corporate world. As several public companies are attacked Culminating in a major market cap company waging a public cyber War for several weeks to regain control of its operations. So I think that some corporations is actually going to be taken over by cyber criminals this year. So that prediction is great. The board level get to it. Let me get to it, he's utterly. Everyone's talked about that for five, I don't care, but I'm actually using actual examples. Here's here's how it works out. So this cyber security Works into a full blown governance Scandal as we as it's revealed that the CEO in charge of this company actually ignored several warnings about this and appointed a pointed cronies to the board and not the recommended cyber security level, so there's going to be some Scandal that's great. I love all now. I like it. This leads to an unprecedented board refreshment of long tenured and oh and overage directors as companies scrambled to find directors with this type of expertise. So this is this was finally gonna flush out. All the old white men is a cybersecurity war, cyber War, thank you. You're basically saying this is the George. Floyd moment for Sight. Yes, cybersecurity all. I know it's bigger that was even here even bigger because It's actually going to lead to actual board Refreshments finally, a reason because these, you know, these companies are too afraid to say. Like, you know, to ask the 90 year old dude to leave for a black woman, but this, this they can. This is Vivek even Vivek can understand this one, right? And my final prediction in this area is that for the first time that I've seen, this is actually going to lead to a direct your compensation race as new directors are actually going to start to negotiate golden. Hello PayPal packages because they know how much their expertise is needed. So we're this is the year where we're actually gonna start seeing directors. What it means is that when you're hired on, you get this, obscene amount of cash or equity and we're going to see that for the first time this year directors, getting obscene bonus packages. Very cool. We do let's make this, let's make this fun by rating. Each prediction as know, Jessie not for Jesse, all of Jesse's are at 8, you know, right there, over 70 years old. They're just gonna get a question and be like Define firewall and if they can't do it, they're out like, oh yeah, Pop Quiz. Yeah, I like it. That's wow. It is the Full Employment Act for director placement agencies because they're just gonna be out there looking and creating like BuzzFeed quizzes. Like, is it the Facebook or in Facebook or meta and depending on what you answer their? Um, I think this is, this is a nine. This is a nine out of 10. This is a really great production ever like anything I've ever said. So this is a Ted Wow, Jesse, you don't have to answer what just he's just she's nervous. Look how nervous she is. She's gonna go. With just call it was a little Bernie, you're right. All right. My next prediction is a bunch of CEO predictions. And the very end of it, I think you'll enjoy especially you Matt. So, the Southeast Asian CEO Revolution continues? I think, in 2023, I think we're gonna actually see an actual East Asian CEO hire me, probably Korea, maybe Japan, maybe even China. That's wrong. Taiwan Hong Kong Camp each China because they're compromised by being Chinese. 2023 sees its first female South East Asian CEO. So that's all and I think I women's CEOs anywhere. I think a prominent car manufacturer is a CEOs gonna be replaced with the Southeast Asian CEO. I'm thinking either, you know, test love for something, all right. It was good up until that point, but my most high profile, Boomerang CEO will be Jeff Bezos. I think that's an obvious one, but I think it's gonna, yeah, I think we, I think Elon Musk is gonna step down at both Twitter and Tesla. And that's where I yeah, I think the Southeast Asian CEO is actually going to be a Tesla. I think that's where we're going to find. And then finally I predict that both Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger are going to die. Wow! Sorry. But even bigger. I think that Warren is gonna die first. And I think, within the next 10 days, I think Charlie's gonna then die. So this, yes, this is my brake picture here. This is my big one. I got billionaires. Go with that going three? Yeah. Um all right rate the prediction here. This looks it's a bunch of CEO stuff. Give it your junk. This was mostly boring but I think you saved it at the end with that. That's more. So I'm gonna give it a seven. No it's not. No. Wow seven you can't have life without death already. What's your? What's your rating this to say? So you're supposed to be like, buttering me up so that I don't destroy yours. No, that's not the way this works. Isn't that how it works? Well, no quid pro quo is. I'm so, um, I'm gonna give this look, I think the, the Southeast Asian CEO Revolution continuing is 100%. Correct. Bezos is correct. I think musk out is correct Buffett and Munger I'm going to say should be correct based on. Life is good chart. So you listening this just based on Actuarial tables should be correct. but the whole thing, the thing about like a female, Southeast Asian. I love, I love and East Asian. CEO, that one two Korea. I'm thinking Korea. I'm gonna take points off for those. So, I'm giving you the seven. I mean, how is there not, how was that? Not a thing already? All right, moving on number three, I think that meta I think meta is gonna spin off from The Meta platforms. I think it's gonna become its own entity. It's gonna separate from the social media Empire of Facebook. What's up and Instagram? I think Zuck is going to become the new CEO. Well, the CEO of meta, he's gonna leave the social media behind, and I think that Southeast Asian CEO will take over the social media part of it, I lost Sundar pichai. And I think that that new entity is going to be called one social The number one social. I'm confused? Yeah, go ahead. I got meta. Was all of those So Meta platforms. So Meta platforms. You're right, Jesse metaplatfor Yeah, and I think this is just his way to kind of gradually, get out of the CEO game. I think this is a step toward that. And I and this is, yeah, this whole thing world domination in the first And I do think this Zuck, he will definitely maintain a dictatorship over both entities. It's not like he's giving up power. I just think he doesn't want to be CEO of WhatsApp anymore. Okay. Well yeah. What's up is his big problem? I'm going to go first here and say this is the second year, you predicted Zuckerberg CEO know, it's different. You said he was gonna step down. Yeah, different. It's different a new ones. This isn't he? But I want to make bold predictions. I want to make, I don't want to, I don't want to like say you know, some shoe company is gonna make another shoe. Oh, Know I did. So the so here's the problem with this one you predict you're predicting that they will spin off a company that spends 12 to 15 billion dollars a year with no profit from a company that makes hundreds of billions of dollars a year in profit. I don't think you want to tie together anymore. Basically what you predicted is what he's already doing. So I think he wants to go down one thing where everyone's paying him money somewhere else. This is might be your most wrong prediction ever know how dare you. I'm gonna, I'm giving it a one. This is your better than 0 again. It's bold. Give me. Give me points for being bullied. I'm giving you the one because I like that, he's gonna call Facebook. What's up Instagram? One social, here's what's really combat. Truth social. Here's what's really idiotic about me is that I actually wrestled with that for all first. I called it one spelled out one and then I said you know what, why not have a public corporation with that? Nice one, starting off with one. You're laughing, Jesse but I'm serious. What? You can look. Yeah, you guys asked for my effort into this and I did just move Better Effort. Let's move on. All right. Well, they have to vote. You want to raise. I have to vote. I'm This is six because I do think this will happen at some point, but I don't think it will be this year. Off to Hawaii basically already happened. It will just be formal. Yes. Thank you. I'm giving this a five specifically because you mentioning Hawaii because maybe go to Hawaii and just have like a spiritual awakening. Yeah. That could solve a lot of problems. I give this a five. All right, my next one is, this is the most boring one, but, but in a nutshell, I think that this is the year that we're going to see that. The, the anti-esg movement is full is fully backfiring. Other than the political theater of it. And here's why I think that I think that we're going to see that the anti-esg movement is only going to help the ESG industry. And I think it's going to do by doing these things, it's going to its increasing ESG literacy, which it already is doing. I I was on a plane recently reading the New Yorker and they were, and yes, there were two more ESG in an article, I have my mind was blown. You're such a social humble, is there any more thing that like a conservative sitting next to you would have been like, oh my God, I got the lib tournaments, fly Icelandic cheap airline from France. Reading the New Yorker is there anything like come on like a stereotype of a stereotype. Okay, so it's one of the reasons why back bars is it it's leading to an increase in ESG literacy. I think it's also going to result in retail investors. Finally understanding what the hell he is. She is understanding that it's a This is right to measure to measure risk and I think they're going to feel generally aligned with ESG values. And I think it's another way that the anti-esg it's gonna backfire, I think people are gonna kind of dig, they're gonna dig it. The third part is that I think this is actually going to help the ESG industry because I think they're actually gonna start to invest and kind of like a research and development and they're going to reward saber metrics for instance. Well, I'm gonna get to that later and I think they're going to start to refine their ratings and methodologies make it better. So I honestly think it's only gonna help because I think that ESG industry actually needed this, they needed to have some self-reflection. I think fourth of all ESG 2.0 is actually going to become a real thing and this is where board saber metrics comes in. I think that this anti ESG movement is just gonna lead to more ESG data, like I think you completely shot yourself in the foot. We're gonna get so many more ways of not only using the existing data. But just coming up with new data. And finally, I think it's gonna lead to way more disclosure in general. All some of it regulated, some of it from Market pressure and I think we're supposed to see an uptick in a lot more social data. So I think it's all a major backfire. I think this is the year that we realized as a major win. This anti-esg movement is a major win for ESG and we're going to be the only ones saying this because the rest of the ESG industry is scared to say anything like that. They don't even they don't say anything. I don't know. They don't even know how to fight back against. This is your best prediction yet. This, this one's by this one. You you're 100% correct with that last statement, which is which one is boring. Yes. But but yeah, it is I think it's true. I think we're putting full Victory mode this year, the issue and if you don't join us glass Lewis sustainalytics more. So you're all crazy. Join us. Be proud of something. Don't just hide. I think for this vote I'm Auto tening it, I mean well, it's Jesse wants to be an outlier here. No, no. It is a 10 for me and, you know, he worked in a sales pitch. So that's, I didn't even mean to, I, actually believe in it. I don't even mean to. I finally, my final prediction for 2023 prediction, guys, I'm show here is concerns our new West Hartford office. Our free flow West Hartford office. Hopefully we won't be addressed online. That I don't want anyone weird showing up and bothering Ari, but here's my prediction. The office is gonna experience some type of environmental hardship such as Discovery, the discovery of radon. Maybe the discovery of radon, maybe a break-in, maybe some flooding, maybe fire ant. Something bad's gonna happen not to anyone of us but to the office itself, that's fine. Can I hope for the fire ants and not the other three are there? Fire ants, Connecticut. I didn't even know the answer. I'm guessing. No. kid, I don't know, but now I'm a bit afraid I'm going to say Who I I'm gonna give this a 0 because I want none of those things to happen. Not about you. Why do they will But I'm gonna give this a big and Jesse I'm not attacking you on this one. I'm not trying to attack your deal. Your due diligence is, like, finding an office. I just I'm just feeling something. I'm feeling, fire ants, I'm feeling so well, I'm feeling attacked Ari. I've already experiencing hardship, I got kicked off the internet so you know, you're probably. Are you give this a seven? Oh see. Okay, wow, she's giving us. All right, that's my prediction, existing office, which is my other room. I'm glad you're back already, because I think you're up next for your predictions. Yeah. Come on Ari. Whoo, we discovered while you were gone. I will say this before I start, when we, when you were gone, we did a show and between our segments on Friday, we use this music and everyone agreed that it made them feel better. Like really it was depressing news and then everyone was like amped up by the music. We got out, we got to keep using it. So now we know, all right, we're gonna start out with my CEO prediction. This past year, we talked a lot about Boomerang CEOs, right? The most recently the WWE, dude. Yeah, yeah, Vince McMahon and indeed a dude. Yeah. I predict this coming year with the stock market all over the place. Yeah, we will be talking about Boomerang CEOs that are women. Have, you know about that? Can you name it? Boomerangs. There's only like three women. Yeah, I was gonna say, who do you have ever lived? She's somebody will come back. I can hear. I can hear yelling in the other room. I don't hear on my not actually on the internet anymore. Back. Yeah, could happen actually. That's a great production of that. Yeah. So, yeah, that's, you know, we're starting out with some governance predictions. There's one, female, CEO Boomer. A female Boomerang CEO. Good prediction? Yeah. Number two. Last year was the first year that Amazon had two prime days. The second one being can it being called a disappointment by various business Outlets with lower than expected turnout. And people were just not that interested. So I think this year and this is, you know, this might be a long shot but I think because greed, but I think this year, they will do away with their second prime day because this is the year of less shit and fewer. Kitty items people. Stop buying crap. That's correct. She's correct. The second part the first part doing away with something. You did one year, you just being bold. I'm being bold, are you? I actually had this thought during my CEO prediction set. Was that I was I was actually gonna say that Andy jassy was gonna add more Prime days and then the Press was gonna make fun of him and that's what was gonna lead to the boomerang. CEO is that wow, too many prime days. Too many problems. Every quarter was gonna have a prime day but I'm like no that's crap. So I went the other way, with only one, the original OG Prime day. You're too excited about that. Yeah, yeah, very excited about. I'm very hopeful one Christmas for just buying crap. The shop now pay later that I think a lot of people used this past year is just gonna blow up and people's faces. So don't be so excited about that. Thought you know this mounting debt, is that what you mean? Okay, losing jobs and you know yes we have to back up because we didn't vote on any of these are. It's like it's like it's like a real So, excited about my predictions, they all have to come out at one, but she said she had a lot of notes. She said Hello notes Behind These. But they're really just one where she just shouting out one word and moving on. Yeah. Let's start with the female Boomerang CEO. Damian. Okay, I'm gonna, I'm gonna add to this re if it actually is a female CEO who got who gets first gets fired, at the beginning of 2023 and then gets rehired, I'm gonna give that 10, I love that but if it's loved it, if it's something else I don't, I'm not too sure. If it just anybody who left, if it's the CEO, remember that, like a single year Boomer a single year calendar year, female, CEO. Boom, I'm excited about that. Jesse, I'm giving this an eight. Oh no contact. Yes, he can make us a one to 10:00 because, no, you're just nervous about your you're still nervous about me, are there? Oh yeah, I'm sitting here shaking. Yeah, I think, I think the problem here with this prediction is that there's like, seven, female CEOs, okay? That makes it I like it both. That's why I said eight because like it's it would be cool. But But I think that makes it less likely because the boomerangs that the characteristics of boomerangs tends to be that they are either Founders or their family members like their nepo babies, their Founders, their, there's something about them. That makes them Boomerang ball as in everyone universally agrees. That, that person was the one person, the one true sore on, for this job, right? So that makes this way harder. So I'm going to give it a like, a hopeful seven. Like I wanted to be a 10. I wanted to be true but I'm not sure it can be, which gets us to second prime, day canceled. I don't care about that one. Yeah, Zero from everyone. If you say it like that, then yes, the answer is yes. Damien, are you a zero on that? I don't know if that's to me. I don't know if this call. Is it actually a prediction? I don't even know. I don't think there will be a second Friday this year. That's a prediction. But that's like saying, Like apple will, like they're gonna release the iPhone. The new iPhone, on in September and not end of August, or, I don't know. Is this? This is not what we do here. Wow. See that's what prime. This is an Ari and Ari, isn't there? I don't here's what I understand isn't every day Prime day at Amazon. What the hell is the difference. That's exactly. What is the difference? Really not know what prime day. Don't really do. People actually. Save money? Or is it just like? I think you guys are missing the larger Point here, which is the point just giving it what Like three. What's the point, right? Basically the predictions underlying this which wasn't hurt the real prediction but is the underlying prediction, which is people stop buying useless shit because they're afraid because they're afraid of spending isn't that because and everything costs so much. That's not what you said. I actually inherently. so, I just don't A second. I am day is really going to encourage less shit. It's like buy it existing. And having two day shipping, everybody's like, oh, they need this, like, oh got it in two days, I'll be just see what I need today. I think that I think this is a rejection of fast retail. I think, like all of the like I think like this. Well, I think America is really awesome retail. I mean, I think you're seeing it. Well, playoffs, everyone's laying people off, and the people are getting laid off 10-b, white collar Tech, and white collar Finance, not like trades, like you can't find a carpenter anywhere. In fact, you want to be a carpenter if you took like a six week class is a great time. You can command a premium, there are million jobs for you. I actually think like the the need is not for more, just random shit where we spend our money. We don't get anything for it. It's some, it's in other things, it's in real things. And I think that's the underlying prediction that are where you might be, right? Is that I do think people are going to be more scared of spending in general this year, which means I'm giving this a five because the focus on Prime day was confusing. But the focus, the real predictions. Well, something else. You're right into it different. From what? Read. The reason why they're doing this is because most retail has just a ton of inventory that they can't unload and they're just coming up. Nobody wants it, right? But I'm saying like, this is why we're This is why we're seeing all these sales and Deals because they're just trying to unload shit that they have. So they will be a second prime day to get rid of all that shit. And no one's gonna buy it that to me is the prediction, they're gonna. Okay? So now, all right. Now you into shop, now pay later? In the middle of that prediction, we realized we hadn't voted in any of your other predictions because these are multiple predictions. Apparently these Are under the same one umbrella, buddy and group them that way anyway. I think this is gonna explode in people's faces this year after being misused, the last couple years, so How do you think it's gonna, I'm curious. How do you think it's gonna? It's credit card debt 2.0, but do you? So you think this year? People are gonna be like, whoa, credit card, debts bad, I think this year they're gonna be like, Hey companies offering pain out or shop now pay later stopped doing that. Oops, I just want you and harder with my prediction, all right? Shop now pay later. It's gonna be outlawed, oh, wow. Oh, that's pretty and that's a prediction actually. Probably should be out band credit cards in general. Are not the backtrack too much, but I'm reading the both primed. This is according to Bloomberg. Bloomberg research, both 2022, prom days out performed. All prime days before it Both both higher. Okay, people just like to buy stuff. All right, go ahead shop. Now, pay later. Explosion. Boom. In your face. I'm sorry this. Yeah I I think it's A two. Because I have seen, I know people that use this and I also have seen I have clients. I do Financial Wellness. On the side. I have clients that work this in business and I see it in their books and I'm like, oh no, no, no. So my hope that people are going the hope that people are gonna realize. This is bad. I don't think it's gonna happen this year. Okay. That's your prediction, it's banned. Yeah, I asked my prediction. Oh, I thought, I think that's a real prediction by the way. That's why I think people are gonna need it this year, so I use it more. Apparently, this holiday season, it was a very big Trend because inflation made everything so expensive that everyone bought things on. Now, just to be clear, this is layaway, right? Like, he used to call us like the 50s, like layaway, what or like installment plans, right? Yeah. But until you, but you didn't get the item until he finished paying it off like if you came out. Yeah, that's how it used to be. Okay, he was 0% 8. This is a zero percent? Yes, they are. Most of them are 0%. Aren't they? Because they're so desperate for people to buy know because I think they're so desperate for people to buy stuff that they're I don't think that there's any kind of penalty here. I I think these are things are hideous. I think they're giant debt traps. I don't really get the prediction. Oh, banned. That's the prediction. There's no way. No way. I think there is a way I'm giving this. I agree with this prediction. I'm giving it a nine. What you think that it's gonna get banned? He should, he thinks it. Should I think by the end of the year, regular companies, the companies are forced to close it because people can't afford to pay off as wildly dead Mystic, wildly, or that? Um, Katie Porter comes out with like, a bill that basically says, this is heinous and Elizabeth Warren co-signs. And you think that's the Kong the house. And I think I think in the house there's going to be enough people that think this is terrible. This is a, this feels like you're just kissing, you just kissing analytics ass. This is all your dreams is grouping up together. Ari, I love the prediction for being bold. This is no way it's gonna happen. I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give you a 66, I like Bowl predictions. All right, I'll take it. I'll take it. Not gonna Okay. Well that was more discussion than I anticipated. Or wanted brings us to have another band but that's for later. But right now Beavers. I cannot get hundred years. Yeah, there's a 10. I don't know what your prediction is 10. I love you. Swear. I'm not being paid by the beaver. I am open. Contact me. But the year last year, we talked about California. Utilizing beavers to help with their drought problems. And yeah, now they have way more problems. Butting problems. Yeah. Positions, I know to work for this state, Also, what I read. This week. About how beavers build America. So I declared 2023 the year of the beaver and we will see startups. Riding whole business plans around these creatures Beaver startups are a thing. That's why not, why not? Yeah, 100% because I'm imagining Ari now, getting paid as an affiliate from a beaver startup and having to figure out on her tax return. I'm gonna read this book. I can't wait. All right, talk about this next week. Yeah, when I was a kid, one of my favorite things was watching cartoons and I used to watch The Flintstones and one of my favorite features of the Flintstones is that every episode featured, some animal that would help the people like they would like it was like an elephant Stones Damien. Yeah. Okay. Like an elephant was providing the water for the shower. I think that you're absolutely right. I think we're gonna be breaking into a whole new world. We're gonna realize like, wait, animals, do things better. They're smarter about certain things. They've been using natural resources to take advantage of them for, you know, forever. So, I think, I think this is incredible. I think this is a really great prediction on. I have an idea for new swag, we got to get shirts that says the Beavers, okay? So they love beavers. They just don't like swag that says, respect my beaver, Know. Beavers are moving on. All right. Moving on. This is another band. The FTC proposed a non-compete band that currently affects one in five workers and I think this will actually happen and I think this is part of the movement. We're seeing where, you know, you you needs are looked at favorably, you know, they have the highest popularity they had in, like, 50 years, I think this is workers, right? I think this is a no-brainer easy way to see will be the What are they? They're missed this episode in contrast. Listen. Hell no. He are you Workers being subjected to these types of not compete. Where are they subjected to this? Like what kind of companies are you talking about Walmart? I mentioned a security seriously, like a security guard that's making He or she couldn't work for another security company for two years and they've been enforcing this. They've actually been part of the contract, this person got caught doing it, they would have to pay a fine of 100,000 dollars, which is way more than they're freaking salary and right here. So But are the companies actually forcing it or not it exists in, it shouldn't exist and workers are coming. That's stuff out that's like saying weed, what used to be illegal but everybody smoked weed, you know what I mean. I mean, it's you, if it's not being enforced, Know, I really just rate it. It's not gonna happen so the answer. But so gonna happen. Yes, she has really been a labor friendly world. I like the optimism. Taking it, I'll give it a six because I like bold Banning. I like Banning everything. So I like that element, but I don't feel like we're in a pro labor environment the way you do. So I'm gonna Go along. So yeah. Swing everything like closing. Like we talked about this yesterday when you're out already Chipotle closed a location in Maine because the union, the workers unionized and there's been, no, they've not gotten into any trouble. Nobody cares, that's not a pro labor and even our Pro labor supposedly president, he should have slammed Chipotle. I actually think, I think Lena Khan overplayed, the Microsoft Activision deal, and the results like the putting that like deal, halting that deal is stupid. And the result is something like this. Something bold that should happen, right? Is less likely to happen because everyone's gonna think they're just overplaying. They're overstepping. Its too much regulation. And now the house is owned by conservative. It's not going to happen. So this is right but I still don't get the why she's paying so much attention to Microsoft. I mean that's like the one company that nobody is upset at anymore. Jesse, what's your? I even have to rate it if Matt. Yes, literally stated. This is rated and not rage it. And then, I'm gonna give it an eight because if it goes, if it passes and Ari's excited, I wanna be on the right side of that crazy. It's not a history, not, if it passes, if they're rating, whether it's likely to actually be real or if it's good prediction, start writing letters. Wait, prediction, isn't that their passing it? Because it was, it wasn't it suggested, it was proposed proposed, who proposed it. I thought the prediction is his passing. You see itself All right, all right. Well last one. Yes. And, you know, this was from an NPR headline that was discussing the future of Bed Bath & Beyond. Oh no. Will it be a Sears or a Best Buy? I hate these predictions. Oh my God. Those are your options sucks. Both ways. so, I figured you know, call it Years. Because it's the year of last shit and fewer shity things. So Bed Bath & Beyond, bye-bye. I don't like this already because I actually personally love Bed Bath & Beyond because everything I buy there, I can use a 20% coupon. There's so many 20% coupons. I think, I love that. I know, but I'm cheap. I'm Frugal I love, I love that part of Bed Bath & Beyond and, and every company now price matches. So you can just find the cheapest price of it somewhere else and go to the company where you want to buy price match, it'll give you the discount and I love. These are your sad. You literally the worst reasons to keep Bed, Bath & Beyond open get rid of Best Buy. I'm I actually, I'm gonna make an executive decision here and just say that this prediction is an extension of the Prime second prime day. All, it's really, it's only thing I just beyond get canceled Prime day, get canceled all because people are buying less shit. It's all one predictions. So I'm gonna say it's the same. This is from a woman. Who has a two, a two-person family, and two cars. I have three cars. So one to one ratio what is true? He Who are you? Who are you to preach to me? Ari. How dare you? Here, if you were shit, man. Uh-huh. What do you want to do? You want to predict? Do you want to rate this prediction? Okay, give us 0. All right. Nice but I I predict that that is correct. I'm gonna predict that Jesse's gonna give it a two because he can't bear to give Ari a zero. Wait, I agree that it's gonna be a series out of business. And personal Jesse, have you ever been to the mall? You don't seem like someone's ever gone to the mall. That's correct. That's the best prediction. I like Sprint in. If there's a reason I need to go and then I get out as fast as possible, all right? Which brings us to Jesse hives, predictions excited? Yeah, Damien's really sucking up to you now because you started the show by saying you were a little nervous. For some reason about getting a part for your predictions, I just actually gonna go easy on me. No, I just think Jesse gives us the opportunity as a company to sound like adults. Like I that's why I'm excited by quit by her predictions because the most adults, the most measured and reasons. Bed Bed Bath and Beyond. It is right first prediction. Bonan. 2023, adult mode. All right, this is never gonna happen. Let her talk. We all know what femtech is. I don't have I don't have to give the rundown. Yeah I could we can guess. Yeah. Okay. You guys I do want to you know, give a little background of why it's needed just in case some of our teammates need to know that. Historically, Women's Health has been overlooked inside, different research, all research, tell to the audience, you should describe to the audience, not to all the haters. Research typically almost always done on male subjects and if on the off chance women were included their more than like mostly post menopausal. So it's not really comprehensive and accurate data for females. This year already. Yes, femtech. Startup salad, raises 270,000 in pre-seed funding. So I think their start. I know its meager but look, my predictions will take it here. Funding will exceed 1 billion in their kicking it off. They're starting. Wow, they're going. Is it one New Year Tech? Yes. Yeah, I do have to say, I do not like the name salad but oh my. Do you know my online avatar name? Whatever you call is salad game. I don't buy. It's not how dare you She doesn't like being labeled salad. Okay? Can you can you cover the the part about female entrepreneurs? What would you have? Oh, yeah femtech is powered by female entrepreneurs More than 70%. The best part that companies analyzed by Mackenzie had at least one female founder compared to a 20% North for this. See, this is where you bozo is where your predictions suck. Is that Jesse's actually taking our data and the things that we preach, and she's trying to find like a real says, a guy real world of our data and used it in his prediction. I like that last part though. Jesse. I'm giving I'm gonna start the rating Tech. I don't understand what this means. Like, 1 billion dollars is that a lot? I feel. I feel like it is. Okay. So apparently, It's Sal. It's three more salads. What it is. I mean, I just how could I, this is like a nine, right? I mean why would this be this just sound right? This is like, a good game moment. This is just what? Oh, wow. Oh, for women. Why are you trashing this? Sorry. I'm because the money and it's still men and I think that they're gonna crap all over your salad because first of all, they hate salad or other people's noses, right? Yeah. So those two because I'm sorry, I don't like this pessimism out of you. Make a business case for this. Why would they not fun this? I don't think it doesn't matter. It women show up with a great business case and a point. Oh just women holy pessimistic with menstrual problems, you know? Nobody. I think, though. This didn't mention but should have mentioned that. Roe v Wade, getting knocked down in this country. Interesting is should help giant. I should help giant spur. I mean the midterms right? One on Roe v Wade by liberals. Effectively there was no Red Wave in this country. I take credit for that and yeah it was mostly you of course A white guy would take credit for. I voted in Georgia, I voted in Arizona, I voted in California. Don't tell Vivic, I'm gonna say that. I think that but are is correct, know, the vast majority of the Capitol. And by vast, I mean, all of the capital is controlled by like seven white guys, right? So, Peter Teal's, not funding femtech. Anytime soon, neither of the Koch brothers, neither is role if both at sequoia or Marc Andreessen at Andreessen Horowitz, okay, those people are not funding this Um, which means you what you need is a network. And this is good timing for Serena Williams actually retiring, and going into Venture Capital, it's good timing for that because you need a network of women with money who are willing to actually find Mackenzie Scott. Thank you. It's not doing Venture she's doing. Um, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna give this to seven, I like this is a good prediction, it is a good prediction because if you're absolutely right about the Roe v, Wade thing as I think this is the moment for things like femtech. It's gonna be a lot. He's the exact way to fight back against that the exactly and it's slow money, but it's good. There, you give it a seven. This is actually thought out. Well, I just don't think I think Ari's too right to to think it's gonna happen in 2023. All right. What else are these overall very optimistic and her pessimism comes out in my family. Oh, tough crowd here. What else you got? Come on. Justin, you guys are gonna really love this on. All right. My colleges for Joyce, Tony College. Sorry, someone who loves mushrooms studies. It's a mushroom scientist. It's gonna be the year of redwoods investors. Finally, appreciate my cortisol relationships and invest Millions. Wow, you're making a sound so much smarter as a company. I don't even know what you're talking about purely personal because oh, I know, lived in California. Why you can't make eye contact? Yeah, and there's No, I've never done mushrooms what that does that's the problem, that's a problem I want to but that's that's a problem. Are the CPA at our company has not done mushrooms, maybe that should be our on brand is, maybe that's what that should be our bonding. Our our company bonding article. Yeah. Can we just okay, can I explain why this is important and why they're gonna fall in love with it and throw money at it? So Trees redwoods, have shallow root systems and by combining my celium with the roots, the fungi make it easier for trees to get more nutrients and moisture from the soil. Yes, like the Beavers. Yeah. So it's so same gonna invest in our fungi. What did I give to the same score? This is a tender. Wow, you to Matt doesn't even matter. We're just I like it. I like Jesse that you're like, predicting actual like, funding movement. What was the prediction? What was the direction? What was that? They're gonna invest Millions so much more than a million is invested in mushrooms to help the environment. Specifically for that purpose, my production? Yeah. How did we talked recently about mushrooms being used as like, for packaging and for shipping? Yes. But, you know, all the companies that are like, well, when you buy from us, how about you plant a tree and some fungi so that you? Yeah. Matt you stupid trees, you, these are these, this is a wonderful idea. Except for the fact that in order to invest millions in something, they're actually has to be some semblance of return on the millions that you invested. That's Capital markets work. What's the return? This is not gonna work for carbon capture. Making mushrooms for carbon capture. Like this is the great idea. This is bananas actually being tested in small parts of the Redwoods, it's just by scientists that have no backing. So I'm just, it's our, it already, it works. So you're prediction is that shity carbon capture and offsets get sold, because people plant mushrooms at the base, we need to Redwoods all angles, but you not actually capturing any new carbon from the atmosphere, you're just making it so that that Redwood lives a little bit longer in its 5000 year life span. And it captures the carbon. Yeah, this shirt because they plant a tree. Those, this is the one and this is one and this. Can I say Jesse that this is goes along with my prediction about the, how the anti-esg movement is just helping ESG? Because I think this, this is the kind of stuff. We're gonna see new more and more R&D and these types of weird things and people love it. People love this stuff. I know, Matt is pooing it, but Matt is the one on every single show who says he loves planting more trees. I do. I love planting trees, so that's right. What's wrong with this? I didn't say that, that's an investment thesis. I said, we need to plant trees. She didn't say funding to exceed one billion for this. She just said millions. So I could two million dollars two investors. If he said non-profits or you said Mackenzie Scott, that is a good job. That's a 10. If you say investors have investor, they dated that they care way more about mushrooms and fantastic. Those do not true. That I'm moving on that. You can make a profit. On fantastic. I know Matt's gonna give this one a zero. Bye it's another bold and what's this? Is that the prediction that's gonna give this a 0 because that one now is correct. Matt gives all of mine zeros now my, my next one is respect for indigenous. Wisdom cop, 28 leaders, swallow their ego and give all speaking education platforms to indigenous people around the world. Same. Wow, that is most insane prediction. That is literally the most insane for I love this. That's a 10 because it's insane. That's a bull production. Wow, cool. Would it be? That would be amazing. It's active. And actually, first of all, would that mean like someone like the Czech Republic, whose supposed to speak has to find an indigenous person from the Czech Republic? Yeah. Like Vlad the Impaler. Yeah, this is gonna be completely transparent. I have not been to copy so I don't know how it's structured. I did look up the agenda. So you know part of this is just like how I imagined they have like speakers and whatever. Yeah there's like I don't know if each country speaks so I didn't really Think about it's great. It doesn't matter. I think it's a great idea because you know that it's mostly white people from Europe talking at these things, right? Yeah. And you know, we know that there's not many like resolutions that are productive I just think that if we gave it up to indoors wisdom, we might see something this goes right along with the mushroom wisdom. That sounds like, that sounds like, Western fetishizing of indigenous people, knowing more weight, like just, so, let's dial that back. I do like all the speakers. Do they actually get to, to speak their own wisdom? Or they just reading the speeches of the important white, their own, their own presentation. They're not just, they're not just showing up like actors. It would have been funny if they were actors though. That would Damien. What's your what's your rating on? Is obvious 10, it's just it's old, it's ridiculous. Yeah, it's straight 10. All right, that was a good one because it's never gonna happen. I hope you're right. I hope you're right. I hope so too. Okay, Trump. Okay, this is my next one. Oh, not Trump, no, mush know, Trump? This right. Okay, it's on the right side of trump. Stuff Trump, the full Mentor. The doj brings indictment against former president Donald Trump for full day, which I did have to look up my favorite word, interaction and conspiring against the government over his attempt. He really think. So the outcome of 2020 and yes, I do. I hope you're right. Yeah, I think he has it coming for him because he's horrible like Like at least bring more indictment against and what is the indictment just means that it goes to trials at all. That means because they won't because obviously he ill yeah. Proven innocent somehow I got my production is we are moving this forward and this is the next step. I hope you're right. I'll give it a seven because I hope you're right. Give it a six because I hope I don't know what it has to do with with free floater businessman. But Yeah, I'm giving it a 0 because it's not. Oh, what? Okay, you don't think that you think it's not Ari predicted that her roommate was gonna get a girlfriend and I challenged that because you knew was gonna get a girlfriend because you were kicking him out when he had no or else to go. So we had to find a girlfriend. So you you set that up dare, you know, it's related, that's true. He was the CEO of America, four years. Damien rejects, everything that doesn't feel free floaties. Hey, I gotta I gotta keep the company. Okay, my next one definitely doesn't have to do with Free flow or business, but it's fun. Beyonce will be the first black woman, since Lauryn, Hill in 1998, to win the Grammy for album of the year. Is that right? She has a lot of what this could never won. She never won a Grammy album of the year. Yeah. Look if you said mellody Hobson wins the Grammy for album of the year, then it's business-related, but it's this is Beyonce. I think it's gonna be a Steely Dan. He's very, I think she, I don't understand, I don't understand. Yeah, she does. I think she's gonna go into venture capital, I don't know if I care about this. I like Lauren Hill though. I don't know what to say about this. I'll give it a five. Yeah, he hasn't won by now. She's not going to win. I feel sad. That this is the no black woman win this. But I mean, this has to, it's it's diversity related. It's this is racist related. I feel like this is, this is, this is like a black women chairs. That's what it is. Yeah. Oh so in that there are one of them. Yeah, they don't exist. There's just one there can be only one. Sorry All right, that brings us to the end of Jesse's femtech. Was I think the best prediction? I I think that is as well like that one prediction. I like that. I don't. But I don't understand the other ones but that that might be depressed smarters of the day. Now it's time for the real predictions. Mine, you take hours. This is a lot of writing here, gonna take hours, I'm not gonna say it. All right, so first of m&a predictions, um, let's do it. I've clustered these predictions. There's three m&a predictions and they're just one offs. Damien you can write down the vote or not, write them sure. The predictions here, I think are meta is going to buy roadblocks to maximize access to Children's self-esteem. I think the if meta wants to get into the metaverse, they actually need to acquire a metaverse company in Roblox is the largest I think rather than spending 15 billion dollars a year Zuckerberg decides what would it cost us to buy Roblox? Yeah. And you know where he's gonna figure that out, he's gonna figure that out in Hawaii when he's separated the meta and that that's so maybe you're right, maybe that's the first thing he's gonna do is gonna acquire, I think he's gonna choir. I also think Elon Musk is use that. He's gonna step down and CEO. I actually think he's going to sell Twitter to tiktok to troll the entire United States government. I think, what better troll would it be if Elon Musk took Twitter and sold it to the Chinese company, that owned cool? Would they ever? They would never let him get away with it, though, right? I mean, it's a private company. Now though it's a private company like they get and there's not an antitrust issue necessarily but And finally, I think in m&a it's not really m&a, but Tesla is getting an activist to master that 100%. Didn't we already talked about this? That 100% is going to happen. You predict, that last year, I thought we talked about this in yesterday's show. We predict that last year. That was, that was a, that's it. Just something got an activist last year, so that's yesterday. Yeah, go ahead. That's what I think at Disney got an activist yesterday but that's what I think is gonna happen in M&M. All right, so that anyone want to win? M&a predictions? I think meta buying Roblox is genius. Prediction, right? Or the actual move. The prediction because it actually could happen Elon telling Twitter tiktok would be the greatest troll. So I hope it happens. I'm gonna give this an 8. That's cool. I agree. I like the I don't like the last one. Matt, he kind of ruined your he had some momentum going. The first two were pretty exciting. Tesla gets an activist. What did you did your daughter? Write? That what is that's like from the mind of a three-year-old, I don't care about the first two were inspired. I mean, you would have gone to 10. I'm gonna bring you down too because of Tesla, give you an eight. Yeah, well, that's that's fair. That's a nice day. I'm feeling a six on this. That's makes me so sad. Like the Roblox saying, because I think on one of my episodes they were like one of the only gaming companies that actually monitors. What was it white supremacy on their app so I don't want them to go to the dark side. Well, you, I don't think you spend a lot of time on there because there's a lot of simulated sex rooms and someone claimed to have gotten effectively sexually harassed and Roblox and it's all kids, it's not great. All right, my set of predictions. Number two, revolve around the idea that reality. As we know it has become owner is nobody likes reality anymore. And here's what I think is going to happen. First of all, I think the first metaverse Airline is launched. And the airline has no cancellations that's guarantee and they have low bag fees. They actually they are charging limited bag fees. So you you can ride a metaverse Airlines and this is off the back of something that I read, that's actually happening about travel. And people saying that virtual experience is, they are open to the idea of virtual experiences because the cost of travel, and travel is so terrible. And then the Southwest meltdown happened and then two days yesterday, the FAA canceled half of its flights because they're, they're equipment doesn't work, I think it's legitimate legitimate possibility, that metaverse travel is a thing. Maybe that's what Mark's gonna come up with in Hawaii, when he spends off his medical now because legitimately sucks to travel. Do the planes have Windows Well yeah I just like the idea that. Why not that? That in the metaverse there are low bag fees. You still need bags in the metaverse and I love you. Go ahead. If you're if you're traveling in the metaverse, how are you? You're wearing virtual reality headset, how are you in the metaverse? I'm so confused. What do you have to travel too? Are you? Yeah. What is a travel? Why can't you just be there instantaneously? Like, don't understand the meta tourism. I don't I like to experience. Yeah, it's a cool prediction. I'm just trying to get, I'm trying to get on board. Oh, I see. Like the the simulated experience will be like your seat actually comfortable. You have a great view of Greenland, you're actually sitting by someone you like, someone who has like, you know, cheesecake and pizza. And they give you they played for the Yankees. It's like, everything is farting, the entire. Nobody smells children on your airplane, screaming in the back or maybe there are children, but There. You can mute their screams. Where you can like move people, right? It is Sims. It is Sims. Yeah, I think about it. Travel entertaining. Like you could take the extension of this is you could take a travel cruise, and you're sitting, and there's no, like, E coli or covid outbreak ocean. Look at the ocean, it doesn't Rock so much. You can set the rocking level. So that like, it, either rocks you to sleep or is not the craziest idea. I think it is coming like a meta travel industry. I think you're the greatest thing ever also because of racism and misogyny and anti-gay sentiment is so high in the real world and throughout throughout like the internet, a team is actually going to launch chat lgbtq which is the first gay AI chatbot and and it's going to be like a way to escape the reality where you can have a conversation and feel like in a safe space with AI. I think that happens because reality sucks so much. I tell you. I so part of the next, I think the next installment of the corporate Theater here at business pants. We actually asked Uh, what's it called, chat? PG, PT. So, we had them. Write us a variety of ESG related, comedy sketches and you if you listen you'll hear the results. There were some were better than others. There was a fascinating one that called I just said, write a short play about ESG Pizza. It's pretty, it's actually kind of fascinating, but here's the thing, is that bill into that system already, Matt, is that they already are like very sensitive chat, GPT like you're not allowed to talk about, you know, allowed to be racist. You know, how to talk, even talk about like, death, because I asked them to write up play about Elon Musk and his deathbed and they said, it's not very sensitive to speculate about someone's death and so I don't know. I mean I think they're already maybe doing this as well. This is why Microsoft's invested 10 billion in that and not in Twitter which is a cesspool of humanity, true. And finally in reality is owner's. I think, crypto rebounds in 20, Three. And here's why Trump is going to launch his own cryptocurrency and it will be fully adopted as the currency of Alabama for the state. Like no longer take the US dollar. You have to whenever you go to Alabama, it's coming. You actually have to get your usd's transferred into Trump dies. And that's a cryptocurrency. I I will start to vote in Matt. I again I would have given you a 10 for the for the a for The Meta travel industry and for the state adopting crypto I as a currency I think that is right. I think that's coming I don't think it's going to be in 2023 but I like the joke of it but the but the middle one the chat lgbtq. I feel bad. I'll give you an eight again. I think these were pretty. I think you were. I think you're tapping into something good here. You had me at Trump. So Trump's Soldier I think this if people are expecting the crypto to never rebound from this, This this collapse, you know, SPF collapse, they're crazy, you know, it's yeah. Right, my Bed Bath & Beyond whatever you. Oh, but I thought I'd get the Jesse discount. Know it does make me sad like reality is that discount? Yeah, the sadness. Sorry. We're just keeping, we're all. Are you voted nine too? Yeah, although I will say as someone who just recently traveled for the first time in three years, first, first time, I've been playing three years. It is actually nice once you land to go outside. So I don't know about, I mean, just take the headset off and walk out by going your backyard. I, I'm just saying, like travel does suck, but it's nice to be somewhere. New sometimes, I don't know if I said this already, but at Consumer Electronics, Show, which is the used to be a big deal, but is now kind of a mediocre deal show about future Tech. They debuted a metaverse headset where it covers your nose and you smell things from where you are, so right, I read a headline about that just wait because by the end of 2020 three, you're not only, you're going to have That's when my next set is about the alternative democracy, which is about to get hot again. Proxy voting is never been. So cool. Thanks to FTX where due diligence effectively collapsed and was terrible. Due diligence is going to be back in and in fact in 2023 I think we have our first director who gets voted out strictly on their carbon emissions performance. We have a carbon vote out. I did the math here. Using board, saber metrics, they're 51,000, active directors today, where we have carbon history on their performance 51,000, active directors of those 1,183 ranked in the bottom quartile as in, they are pure shit over five years on carbon. They emit more carbon in during their directorships then and all the boards that they sit on, then their peers do, these are directors who said on multiple boards, every one of those companies amidst more than all of their peers in their region and in their industry, their shit, okay. Of those 144 of those were also in the bottom quartile. Pure shit for shareholder returns and return on assets. So, these are directors that spew more carbon Return less money to shareholders and can't even fundamentally. Make money on the assets of the company. When I eliminate the ones that are founders and CEOs, or that were like had no influence. I was left with 23 people, and this is out of 51,000 and when I eliminate directors in China, I was left with one one guy, his name, his name is John Walker because, of course, his name is John. He is a director at oh I glass, he's a committee. I am predicting right here, right now. 2023 is the year that John Walker of Ohi glass gets voted out. Wow. Because he's the shittiest carbon performer. He has Portia Sr and shareholder returns. Anyway this is the year he gets voted out and this is one year after BlackRock Fidelity and State Street. All voted for him last year. Dead Man. Walking, Matt. That could that, that could have been the whole prediction show that one. That means you tied in our product, you made a bold. You're predicting. Someone getting fired. Yeah, he's all good. Great things I mean, yeah. That's my cheesy ten. Easy 10? Yeah, well I'm doing I'm doing a little record. Keeping Matt I look back. You actually predicted on November 4th on our Friday show that Tesla is gonna get an activist investor. Yeah. So I'm deducting a point from your first prediction because you just repeating this stupid thought. So you got a seven on the damn man's doing his number. Fourth November 4th, you can't revise points, which my follow-up to the alternative democracy is hot and prediction, is it's hot for both political parties. Conservative movement. Antioch movement, is their biggest focus is on. Proxy voting effectively. Well, let's vote, you know, against racial Equity audits instead of them, that's like part of the movement and I actually think what's gonna happen is a lot of these votes are going to go against the anti-walk movement. This is a piggyback a little bit on. What Damien was saying the SG kind of backlash is going to result in a more focus on it. More nuanced about it and that means probably more voting for it, which leaves conservatives in a position, which they're going to do. Now, what they've done for the last three years, they're going to claim election fraud, oh, proxy voting because they know lost their anti woke. Their anti woke efforts, 10 claim that it was an election fraud. I love that one now. Oh God. I hope that's true, man. I really hope that's true. That's so reasonable to me right now. No. But, I mean I, but I I mean we did, you know, we guess we are co-founders of the stupid companies. So I I hope I agree with him but this is, I mean, this is just perfect. I mean right? I mean this is the only their only reaction to everything. This is what happened is the claim Frost yeah on this. All right. Yeah. I'm gonna give it a six. That's Jesse's way of saying she doesn't care what you say about Ari. Gonna give a zero. Give us a nine. Yes, that's correct. Jesse is influenced by her sadness. And okay, here's one that Ari or basically already said so I don't need to totally go over. Yeah. Um but I'm calling it. See I'm going to do it. Succinctly. Where are you spent? Like five minutes talking about second prime day items. Dude, I I'm calling it consumers. Quiet. Quit capitalism know, that's what I'm calling it. Quiet quitting capitalism. There's nothing else to do in America. There's no nothing else to do the new first-hand, which means Poshmark is gonna be huge this year as a result because everyone wants like, secondhand stuff, not right stuff. The media is gonna call it a recession, but it's actually just the beginning of de-growth. Degrowth movement. I wish I love it. This is my favorite one. You're not gonna happen. Veganism is going to hit Mass adoption for the first time in 2023. Tyson crazy know there's a movement out of veganism and I lose my losing it this month, just subscribed to a vegan like Box Company sending shit to us because she wanted to eat more vegetables and become closer to vegan. She's not friends does not like this. Don't listen, friends. And, and, and yeah, that's what I think. Crazy adoption. I can't. They're crazy. sure, whatever you want, do whatever you want, you Oh that she wants to do let her. Do I want to give you a 10 for the second hand and then for the vegan I'm gonna give you a one because Was in the. van and I see a lot of people coming out of it because Health related reasons. So, but now you have Beyond meat, you have like better which is failing, those are so Ultra. Those are not healthy. I'm just saying, that's not like oh, you're wife getting. So it was saying that it gets Mass adoption because now there's enough Alternatives that you can effectively have all the stuff eat like shit, get diabetes and still be vegan. Oh, yeah, because you could eat Oreos but no, I said dreaming, Matt, you your channel. I like that your channeling Emma lurking here, but you're dreaming, you're just dreaming. Well, I don't, I'm shocked. That you even think that this is gonna happen, what else is there to do in America book consume? I mean we dude really what? There's nothing else to do here. Yeah. Virtual reality. What where's the man with me? He's crazy. I look I wish I want this to happen but it's just not gonna call it. You're gonna call it a recession. It's degrowth and it's all this is what we thought consumption. We thought this would be the lessons learned from the pandemic and nothing happened. Nothing happened. All right. What's your boat talking about it? Go to go to our shop and buy our swag. There we go. See moving on the 5, final prediction. Thank God. is piggyback off the alternative democracy that I just didn't put in the right order, but We I think the antidepresive voting this year. The anti-woke will Target powerful women on boards to vote them out. Well they're going to Target non-execs equals women and people of color that they are know you're laughing that never argument. Yeah. The first and we're gonna have Vivic Rama show next week we hope. But the first thing he tells you to ask your investor whatever is did the company vote for racial Equity audit? It's a first thing he wants you to ask about. So sorry big here though. So I'm gonna be very specific. Okay, I went I found a list of women who are on large cap boards, who were not CEOs, Founders or family members. I eliminated all those women, anyone who has less than 15% influence. So I wanted women who have influence over the boards that the man scarers. That's exactly what I went for man's Sky. I cross reference, the man's carers. Um the companies I looked at the companies that they sat on and I eliminated, anyone who wasn't rated by msci, ESG as double-a or Triple-A and didn't score in the top quartile for social performance. Okay. So basically I wanted to figure out who will they on the surface? Say as well. So I looked at top ESG rated companies, particularly those that do really well with social stuff like diversity or you know like, you know Microsoft. Yeah. Those Disney infected not make this cut, they're not woken enough. They didn't even make the cut and it's used to workers and here that lists reduced immediately to 10 women. Wow. Is these are the 10 women. Wow, will be the targets of the end of the name of diversity. I'm going to give you the top three. Okay, I'll give you the top three. Number three on the list is Eileen Gordon of International Paper. Okay, 18% influence. She's the ex-lead. Independent director of that company. She's a member of the pay committee and the nominating chair International Paper is a company's talked to all about Recycling and diversity, and all that kind of good stuff. Well crap. Yeah, well crap she is. She's gonna be a target number two on the list is Linda cook. Oh, Linda Bank of New York Mellon. Now, here's the irony of Bank of New York for us. Sorry, Um bny. She has 90% influencer page here. Nominating member audit member, but bny Mellon has gotten a lot of the money that got pulled from BlackRock from Florida and, and all the divestiture from BlackRock. So far, Alabama, I think they've actually put a lot of money with bny or their subsidiaries because bny is not on the woke. Fossil fuel enemies list right now. Despite not that. Yeah. despite the fact that on being wise website, it says It says. Quote at bny Mellon, we aim to accelerate the evolution of ESG on behalf of clients, investors communities, and all the stakeholders to make a positive impact on people and the planet. Does it get more woke than no? And melon I mean melon was like the original Mackenzie Scott, you know how many Civic or things and buildings that melon help build but even Linda cook, can't take the top spot from Patricia Russo of HP Hewlett-Packard, HP fought against the Texas. And Georgia voting laws that were alleged to suppress voters. She has 20% of the influence. She is the chair She is the pay member and a nominating member and HP currently. Of the arrest of the seven women on this list. Two of them are at HP. HP is going to be your prime target. They are going to Patricia. Russo is going to be number one Target. And number two is likely to be and Livermore. Also on this list. Write the HP is like the tech world's Disney they're woke. They are underperform and the anti-walk are going to hate them. That's what prediction HP also could be a site for, for you are for a female CEO Boomerang. You've got Meg Whitman, a Carly fiorina, right? Two possible female, CEO boomerangs. Matt, for the women, Damien. I feel like we got a right to them. Jesse, you're gonna hate this. You gonna hate this Jesse, but I'm gonna kiss my ass again. This is because first of all, he is the only one using our data. And this is gonna lead to my final, he's gonna lead to my final prediction of the show. But this is how was this, not a 10? I Mean, they are gonna, I think you're right, the Argus start targeting women, and people of color to vote out for the very reason, I think you're right. Yeah. Jesse's got to give it a six because it makes her sad six for Jesse. Are they better? Are we gonna do this? Yeah, they have to, yeah, you know what, you know what I'm wondering. Is, already says a 10, do any women on boards have over 20% influence? Like, I'm looking at all these numbers who aren't CEOs. Yeah, there are a few Susan Arnold was one of them at Disney but she stepped down. She retired. Oh, she didn't she had 17% influence. So she actually she got kicked out. There are very few but there are some yeah. Let me ask you a very important question, mark, can we wrap up the show? Wait, what about, who will win the year? Well, seeing as you and I are the only ones who picked can I at least say mine because Matt, I think you you segued beautifully into my prediction for who will win the year and I'm gonna say bored saber metrics and it's bogged incented platform. I think that And I'm gonna say is that it better when the year I think for the four of us need it to win the year, it does it, we are literally out of money. I think you I'm not even kissing your ass. I sincerely mean I'm about to say I think that you're too predictions using our data. I think everybody should want this stuff. I think I realize I think that you can't find the anti Wolf the data and you should put this in a paper, you should release this. I think this is really fast and stuff honestly. Yeah, my prediction was that proxy voting. When's the year and by extension us because how can you vote your proxy without knowing who you're voting again, or like it? And that's all we've got. That is our prediction guys. I'm six hours of predictions. Over, 300 days, we did it. We came to the end. That's already the data Queen and just see the money was pretty and Damien, whatever your what is your monitor, Damian? I don't have a moniker, I just don't really exist. MC Damien. Look at you know, I'm not at MC gig zero. I was mad mascardi, we are free float by board sabermetrics in 2023 or you're a full, otherwise goodbye.
