Hey oh yeah it's Friday. Come on Ari hell live more things. Yeah. From your ESG compost bin. It's a business pants Friday show here, at February 24th Lane. Studios. That's confusing featuring. All your favorites are the data Queen Chessy the money Whisperer BS, man. Matti on today's weekly. Wrap-up woke. CEO stuff. Farmers who like to fix stuff. God fearing, ESG haters and God fearing Sun haters. Oh, that's a lot of God fear on this show. Anything that comes in the most exhausting or asshole is usually a God fearing. Premise. I miss the days when people thought the sun was God, the son. Good point. Oh, okay, still here, there must be somebody out there are for you. Maybe somebody for, you can start my own church. Everybody ready? It's Friday February. Yeah. Let's get into this thing. Yeah, let's do it. Everybody. I don't have to explain this. Yeah, Pump It Up. I typically explain this show, but I'm Gonna Save the three seconds this week, by not explaining it, but then I just added six seconds by explaining that There we go, Story the week. Come on, we're good at math here. First, Joe Biden, nominating. The former I have a bunch of like board, saber metrics, CEO stuff, but should nerdy CEO board sabrok stuff. Joe, Biden, nominating RJ banga, the former CEO of MasterCard to become president of the World Bank. Why is it interesting? Not only because he was a CEO MasterCard, but it looks like Biden is looking to refocus the World Bank on climate change while CEO at MasterCard. One of the things that being did was announced the creation of the Priceless Planet Coalition coalition. A group of about 100 firms that make corporate Investments to preserve the environment. So this is like an anti Vivic play Here by Joe Biden. This is an in excellent. Pro climate move here. An excellent. I don't know. Nobody cars. I feel like I think it's called D. Excellent. Should we care about the head of the World Bank? Because it's something we should care about here at business pants? Should we care about anything? That's not the question. Um yeah I think we have to don't we especially because this is the CEO and it fits the Southeast Asian male, CEO Theory. So I think we do have to care all though. Not that much call me ignorant. But I thought AJ was a woman so now I really don't, doesn't matter. Wow, wow, really. That's your, I was like oh cool. Oh that's your love you. Okay. I can you know what? I can appreciate that. Moving on Vivid, wouldn't appreciate that. This is the story of the week though. It's one of my first time I've heard of it. One of my four stories of the week, I mean, yeah, sorry, good thing, there's four. Maybe the other ones are actually, hey, I mean, you know what, I'm trying to get out here is the, if your CEO of a company, you eventually become the head of World Bank. Like, it's like this, if you're South Asian male. Yeah. No, that's not number two. Another board saber metrics. One here, people of color. Fill one out of five board seats. For the first time we covered this on yesterday's show. Golf clapped. That one. I'm calling a story of the week just just to irritate, you know, everybody. Yeah, that's I I actually I'm pretty sure Vivek just called in on the other line. And said he doesn't care. Doesn't care. Yeah, number three story of the week, based on the reporting of the biggest CEO worker pay gaps in America. Andy jassy at number one. His the work CEO worker, pay ratio, 6500 to 1. And Jesse 213 million dollars in pay. And the reason why I'm again, this is another board said by metrics Play, It's Worth reminding our audience. That Amazon is still very much a Jeff Bezos joint, right? So he controls 68% of the board influence despite not being CEO anymore. Let's discuss the headline. Wait, what is the wrong? I hit the wrong button. And as Matt, Matt, you pointed this out in the show earlier this week, the chair of the paid committee there, over Amazon is Judith McGrath and her influence, according to our data is only at one point. Five percent one point five, this is Jeff's called Jeff wants to pay Andy jassy a hell of a lot of money. Yeah. But actually do I think we get to give credit it when we look back over the last 20 years, I think the credit we're going to give Elon Musk is in innovating pay packages where you get tens of billions of dollars out of your PayPal package, because this is a 10 year vest with, like it's just the musk PayPal package, isn't it? And you get to you, get the first did not Tim Cook, didn't do it first. Must it at first then cooked. Okay. But I'm pretty sure that they get the one bad year of press because you have to report this year that he had 67 6500 to 1 pay but their valuing it at this year's pay when they actually disclose it and next year or two years from now, when it vests Jesse actually makes more than the value of this, right? So his take home pay is going to be more like 10,000 to 1 or 15,000 to one, which I think is. Why wouldn't they get bad present to yours too? Well, this is what you still being sued because they're clearly shareholders are clamming. It was how completely misleading the whole thing was which is there, right? And they're, but they're also going to lose, right? Because shareholders voted for it at the time. It wasn't voted against, and no one. And everyone's going to say, well, Tesla made money so how can you complain? But this is like the sneakiest new pay package. If you're a mega cap CEO, it's crazy. And finally, my fourth story of the week because I'm just feeling that that woke CEO Vibe this week. I think it's just the all the depressing, anti-esg news the Vivek running for president. The other presidential candidate. Mike Pence also cropping all over ESG so my fourth story of the week Clorox. CEO, Linda rendle, maybe one of my new favorite CEOs, calling out limited diversity. At top consumer events. So here's what she had to say. This is a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. She said, it's great to see the diversity improving in this room but I have to make a note that the diversity on the stage is not where it needs to be. Oh, you don't hear that very I like I'm gonna guess you've never heard that out of a Fortune 500 CEO ever, not a Fortune 500 CEO but I have a conference in ESG conference where someone on the stage was like why is it all like white guys talking about ESG? So it was it would have been awkward if it wasn't so true. Never heard a man say that. Why are you calling her? Not a Fortune 500 CEO. Why'd you say that? No, I said I've heard never got from. I heard it from. Okay, that's why this is important to me. Because what's the big? What's the, what's the diversity influence at Clorox? Thank you for asking that according to our data. I'd have you all know that the the Clorox board is a majority female influence at 52%. I will say this. That the in fact, in terms of actual sort of physical body representation, it is half women. So it's only a shade only its representation and we're asking for and probably one of the reasons is that the nomination committee all searched by a woman and it's two thirds of women. So that's that's the committee. You want to focus on if you care about this stuff, Wow Clorox. Well done. All right, not only you cleaning up norovirus One. Swipe at a time for very woke. ESG stories, very much. This is what you've ever been. This is just, wow, super woke. Anybody want to vote first Ari? Wants to go first. I have any, you know, I've been reading the news every day and these are these are new ones. That's what it's like a story. What would you like? Tell me, tell me Ari. What was more important inflation. The debt ceiling the stock market. Now, I'm just kidding. Okay, these are of course, sounds cool. Come on. So go for chloroxygen that this board. Do you think it's a coincidence that this company is like home cleaning products? Well, look, she don't bring us down but no, hey no, Jesse. It's an important point because she actually did point that out on stage that, you know, that the industry sells to a lot of women and why aren't there more women leading these companies? But that's we've made the same point in the past. No. But I will cover my vote. All right, Matt. So that means my vote doesn't count and you hate all these anyway though. Yeah, I would have voted for inflation so they'll put you. That's not a story of the week. It is now. Matt. Oh no, Ari. Good news of the week. What are we doing here? Why are we, why are we cramming both of the depressing categories at the end? Shouldn't we mix this up? You always question that. All right, come on. What's make it, what's good? I got really, really good ones this week. Yeah, I I'm gonna start with this headline. Companies can't force silence for severns like this. Leave work. Labor board rules actually like this one. Yeah, thank you. I picked it out myself. I like the hand gesture. I actually remember when I left my former company. I remember look looking through the fine print to see like what I what I couldn't do to get my Severance and then I realized wait, nobody would care if I said anything. So so I could probably sign this write a book. Nobody would know. One at my company would recognize anything I ever did. Yep. So on Tuesday, the National Labor Relations Board, ruled that employers can no longer demand laid off employees, avoid publicly talking smack. I love the company as part of their Severance agreements and they can't stop employees from disclosing the terms of their Equity better. I like that too. So we love transparency. Here, People Media And the fact that, you know, the fact that he couldn't do this before. What? Yeah, I didn't know that that's cool or like that never gotten laid off. No, never here. What else? Evan? Keeping lots of Notes From My Future Memoir? So number two. Yeah. Go ahead number. BNP. Sorry about that. That's pretty French. Is the first Commercial Bank to be sued over. Its fossil fuel financing, the first I thought, Oh, thank God. Got it. Go. Yeah. Yesterday, three, climate activist groups sued the bank. Over its fossil fuels financing, saying it violated French law, that requires companies to prevent risks to the environment. Oh, Vivek, what are you gonna think about that? That is not Maritime America. That's not American. And you know, these climate activist groups, one after one of the big fish, this bank is the top financier fossil fuel production in Europe and they're 10th in the world. They've provided about 142 billion dollars to the sector since 2016. I don't know if you have this information already but are the other nine all in the US is that no does Chinese. There's an Italian Bank, even really that's in there. Italians have a banking system. Yeah, there's gonna be some British some, there's some not great Banks everywhere. Okay? So this is great. I love it. Using the court system. Gogh climate activists groups, cool France for Having these laws. Yeah, you should. You should Vote for This immediately because you're a Francophile. Yeah, I mean I don't know how I feel great about that one or I don't feel anything will happen but you know who doesn't love a lawsuit I guess. He loves love a good laws. Speaking of lawsuit. Yes, I know we talked about you guys talked about this yesterday, but the justice department sense, says John Deere she let Farmers repair their tractors, right? That's the sound of John Deere. I think sound a farmer's having to repair everything constantly. Attitude, they want to repair their own crap. Yeah, but as you know, there's a class action lawsuit going on against John Deere accusing them of violating antitrust laws with repair policies, including putting software locks on their tractors restricting, access to repair tools, think about terrible. That is yeah, what? Try so hard for this crap. Anyway, so on Monday, the Department of Justice filed us statement of interest in this class action, lawsuit. I don't know. What a statement of interest is anyone knows? It is when they say, hey, we're looking at this lawsuit class action lawsuit and this is what we think about it. And it actually has a lot of power because that is the US government speaking. So it could, it could be really good. All right, we shall see. Wow, that was that was a succinct and quick like they're all good both good. Both goodness and story of the week. Hopefully set the mode this week by just getting through it. Get it getting to the business. I'm gonna slow you down after this. All right? I'm gonna go first, are all clear? The decks, because I can quickly answer this one to me. Absolutely. Number one, I love this companies. Can't enforce silence for severance, I like that. Yeah, I'm touring actually between that one and John Deere. I the right to repair is like an Insidious little like poke at people who. Like like what country are you not allowed to buy something and then fix it yourself? If it breaks. Like I don't even understand that concept that seems foreign to me or go to anyone to help you fix it. Yeah. You have to call like one phone number. You have to purchase a special tool, maybe not even available to you. You're not allowed to like touch the software system and they hide behind like oh it's IP or you know, and they're argument is you have a lot of choices when you buy a product. So you chose to buy this and you knew this well that's stake in this lawsuit that's like that argument or argument there. You could have bought something else. Yeah, even though they own 40% of the market, so go way to go, John Deere. Um, but I think I have to go with companies. Can't force silence for severance pay because I want, I, what I really want is everybody who got laid off in his Tech layoffs. To now, just like all collectively, write a book, short stories, whatever, come to our podcast, and disclose the terms of their Severance. Like, everything they ever saw in the company that they thought was egregious. Let's disclose it. All first then they'll never get hired Again. By another tech company. Dream, who cares? They're just do you agree? Yes, wow. Wow. We're flying through. Oh, let's move on. Come on, let's go. Wow, we're gonna be done like Seven minutes. This is the greatest still slow us down that. Here we go. Oh yes. Come on of the week. Number one up is Humanity. Oh my God, that doesn't slow us down you. What's wrong? With your Zoloft levels. I'm just gonna just read to you four headlines and I don't I don't actually need to do more than read these four headlines. First up is the invasion of the super pigs. That sounds good. Why is that bad hybrid species could wreak havoc on in the United States? These are pigs. That in Canada, they bred wild boars which are like the most dangerous creatures with domestic pigs in order to make resilient pigs to the cold. Oh, that's so stupid. Then they then in the two early 2000s when nobody wanted pork anymore for you know eight seconds, they let them go. Go free. Oh, they bred in the wild, really? And now they're super pegs. That are that they hide from you. They like burrow. They, if they feel threatened, they'll move at night. They can go Nocturnal on their own. They attack when provoked. And you can't even hunt them because they can take down elk. They're taking down all the things that people eat. They're eating all the cropland, and they're coming to him, isn't this? Number one reason why people in Texas want their assault rifles because of all the wild boars that, don't they like to fly over and help you know? But it's true though the point is, is that these wild boars are not Mexican. Yeah, it happened in Canada, that's correct. And here's the second headline record breaking February Heatwave, hit, Southern us as DC. Could break, 150 year old record. That's the same time that there's a blizzard currently happening in Los Angeles. Thank you manage your story and then Microsoft is Loos. The limits of being AI chatbot conversations that put into effect. They put into effect just days ago because users didn't like them. You know, users preferred the angsty. Love ridden emo, kids that I'm the only one that loves you. And I say in a nutshell, this is the, this is a defining statement of why this is problematic, right? Because we're all because my users didn't because we're relying on a company like Microsoft, which we think acts like adults, and they're just whimsically changing their minds two days later because a couple of users didn't like their new polls. So we're screwed. Yep, and then we'll we'll round this off with this bra tracks. Your Vital Signs. Well, that could be helpful. Yeah, that could be good for you. You say that? And in like Kentucky, they can, they can look at every app on your phone and track your period. Now you're going to be like take off your bra, we need to check all your vital signs. You know, from your logic is flawed because nobody in Kentucky actually wears bra. I think that's should wear a bra. Stay wearable. They wear that. What else do you have? A president is first up all happened this week, this week. This is literally all this week. Number, two, distraction politics. Come on. Tennessee is set to become the first US state to ban drag. You can't, how can you ban that is that possible? They are Banning public displays of cross-dressing but that's freedom of expression. Yeah I mean how do they are planning it? How They are they I don't know what the penalty, but the bill is on the governor's desk. It's already passed in the Tennessee College. You know? What's weird on the governor's desk. This is the most anti-wolf thing I've ever heard. You know you know different these two countries are that we live in is the one of the things that always, cheers me up is drag like if I'm ever down I'll watch like RuPaul's Drag Race. Or like it's the, it's one of the only things that makes me feel good and yet, there are states banning it. I don't understand anything a week. Every summer in Provincetown Massachusetts, just for like going to drag shows the parades man. I think come on it's so friendly thing ever. What else does come on distraction politics. How about Pence is non-profit roles out digital ad campaign to take on ESG? All right, I'm going to put some music on behind me and it's going to be like really dark music. I'm gonna read to you the Copy from the ad. Okay, all right, here we go. This is Bill unfortunately bills, retirement savings have been invested in Risky. Woke priorities like overpriced green energy projects, and creating meat-free hamburgers. Bills. Retirement benefits used to be protected from being gambled on. Money losing woke Investments but Biden remove the protections putting his priorities over your financial future. Good luck Bill. Wait even even the syntax of that is confusing, I mean these are more on. I mean I don't even understand. This is Bill, Good Luck bill, I don't get that. That's what it said. And then it said contact Kristen Sinema for to get her to vote with this bill to they're trying to get Cinema. Would Sad Panda Outlaw? Yes, she in what does non-profit about? I've never this, it's about this. This is about Ariel, spent a lot of time yesterday. Trying to look at their anti ESG methodologies, but it's it's meaningless nonsense. Yeah. I like the word you say methodology, it's basically just like if a woman shows up to the meeting, it's bad, you know, it's all it's all nonsense and his wife's not there then, you know. And proving it's all political distraction theater, blackrock's 4 billion of Texas assets undercuts, Abbotts anti-esg, because BlackRock, currently. So Abbott in Texas, the governor of Texas voted to remove BlackRock from All State business except for the fact that the pension fund still has four billion dollars with BlackRock They they stopped, they had to sell all their BlackRock stock that they own directly but BlackRock is still a money manager in Texas. So this is just because it's too expensive to actually remove black rock and go find someone else to handle four billion dollars of retirement funds, turns out Well, okay. You know, I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to talk about Governor. Greg Abbott, it just makes me sad. Yeah, don't go. Finally prints of distraction himself. Vivic rum Swan. This is your third. This is your third asshole. The week. Is this part of Vivica himself? A because he just joined the presidential field in 2024 this week. Yeah. And here's a few, did you knows about Vivic that I found out this morning? Yeah. Vivica was on the show. We have hosted a presidential candidate on business? Well, Jesse too. Just he's on the show regularly. That's true. And she, I'd vote for Justin. He has put herself in the running for local. Pay me non milk-based presidential positions. Did you know? Vivek search far and wide using Merit as his soul criteria after making millions of dollars at Roy vent for a co-founder in his new anti-woke fund strive, which is one of his platforms for this. He ended up hiring his high school buddy. Oh that's cute. Who's prior experience? And investing was a summer internship at Citadel and he spent a good seven years as leading sales and distribution for Anheuser Busch selling beer. So a Man Who Sold beer. Bro. Is bro. Sold beer is the meritocracy based higher for his co-founder at? This is shocking to Nobody by the way. Oh, did you know that the one woman Vivic chose for his board on Raven science's? He's founded, that company using meritocratic system. Obviously was drum roll, please. I'm not going to drum very good. And, yes, she Analysts at Goldman Sachs, correct? Yeah, she also has I looked at our data match. Yes. Has the least amount of influence on Reuben's, that's correct. Yeah. Did you also know that when looking for independent highly qualified voices for his board Vivek asked in no particular order his old boss that he worked for who also went to Harvard and worked at Goldman Sachs, and seven of the nine board members at that company, went to Harvard and 66% of them know each other. Well, still a little Cambridge Club. Yeah, well, nice old boys network. Yeah, and finally did you know that vivix highly successful. Incredibly capitalist company announced a banner quarter having lost only 385 million dollars in three months on track for a 1.1 billion dollars for 20. That's worse than we're doing, isn't it? I think that's Merit, baby. That's what Merit sounds like. So, there are your options. Your options are Humanity, distraction politics and the Of distraction politics himself. The king being Ron DeSantis obviously, but the prince himself I can't vote for any of these someone else. Someone start the voting, these are assholes of the week. You have to pick one of someone someone sorry I'll start I'm going to vote for a sub asshole, and that is Tennessee. Yeah, that's what I was staring at too. I was staring at that. One, try to ban drag and demons Joy away. I want to take Damien's Joy. I don't understand anyway, rag because Tennessee is like the home of country music right now. I mean, those people look like they're in some kind of a dragon. Anyway. Like what are those outfits? Like what? I don't understand. How was that costume play. Okay, what is that? No, I'm serious. Like these are, these are important questions. Who wears cowboy boots to sing. A song is not some kind of a cosplay. I don't understand. I don't curious now that you mention it if they ever had like like an anime conference in Tennessee, do they have to move it now? Like it can't be the answer is yes, right? Yeah. Jesse of a boat on this one as holy is the week. I wanted to vote drag, so I guess distraction politics, yeah, I mean, that's Vivica is just the whole thing just depresses because announced a right here, residency to look at his like the people that he picked it for his committee. Terrifies me what committee for president people, you know, like his campaign manager, his campaign is qualifications or approximately losing a whole bunch of money at one company. That's what Republicans love the hiring his buddies at another company. And then say this country should be mirror about meritas, but we don't understand is that he's very good at articulating misogynistic race hate. So you just don't understand like he's that's a good quality man. I'm just saying that he's right. Is there a more asshole move than at 37 years old with no real wins under your belt and no policy positions. Other than I don't like diversity, like policies or anything that was trying to be diverse. Poster, child for that, I don't like that. Is there more an asshole move than like announcing a run for? He didn't announce on a run for like Ohio State Senate. He just was like, even that even, that would be the United States is what I should even the federal level, even a state. But no, okay. I'll give him State Senate, I'll let him run for that shocking to me. All right, well, this category is already over. We already decided its destruction politics but I will vote for Vivic on this one. Yes, that was the correct answer. Everyone else is wrong. Thanks for depressing us. Yeah, and now let's get a little more. It's a continued to press us is the great Jesse. I'm having to say your last name. I'm here to say just all up. I'm just. All right. First first headline up. Is you already sound exhausted, which is good. Not the good kind of activist is spreading misinformation to stop solar projects in Rural America. Yeah wow. What else? So does Rural America have solar energy? No drag no solar. The sun does not rise here son I want to hear more about this one. Jesse tell me solar energy companies are offering to lease Farmland. This this headline, specifically was about Page County, Virginia, to build solar plants, and the farmer that was highlighted in. The article said he was in favor of this. He would make more money, leasing the Farmland, then you would selling his cattle or growing hay. He wouldn't have to split up his land. He could keep it in one parcel he could save for retirement because it would be guaranteed income coming in. So he was in favor of this. But then, Enter citizens for responsible solar which is first responsible for any country that has the word Democratic in it. Like in its name. It is no, it's not scarier. It gets scarier. So it was started in 2019 by a long time. Political operative. Susan. All that name. Sounds familiar. She a board member worked. Yeah. No. She's familiar to you because of Valerie playing. She was Karl rove's assistant and passed information. That ended up outing a CIA agent. Oh, that's Susan Ralston. Yeah, she's bad. She's just a bad seed. So she still has, she was worked in the White House under George W. Bush still has deep ties to power players in conservative politics and when she launched this, she got hundreds of thousands of dollars from the foundation of the leading GOP donor. It's also a major in fossil fuel company. Here's what here's what their website says. Solar requires too much land for quote unreliable energy ignoring data that shows power grids can run dependably. So the sun the sun is an unreliable energy source, I mean, really, but can we just like pause on that for a quick second? I mean in the history of our of our civilization, is there anything more reliable than this? I mean, is there anything more unrelenting than right? I mean, it's we even timed like we even created calendars in our, our watches by everything is based on. All right, go ahead. Yeah, and the website goes on to clean that large solar projects in rural areas of the land and contribute to climate change. Yeah wow. You know also Rex lands, Rex over farming, super pigs that is the correct answer. So, take a super pigs would be. Yeah, this missing information is exhausting me, that's the first that's that Jesse And a related note I read so Jimmy Carter is in hospice right? Yeah I saw that and I and I there was a story that he was the first president. He installed solar panels on top of the White House and Nixon know in our first anti-wolf genius, Ronald Reagan removed, I mean seriously the cost of removing the early adopter, that's the original Ron. DeSantis right there, right? The original idiotic anti-wolf Maverick there, he has been politicized too, right? Like, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Okay, what else? Yeah, I'm already keep going White House. Okay, the other thing exhausting me is the White House. Safety violation. Sealing. Wait, that's not there, but that's not their. I don't know what this feeling. Yeah, well it's it's law, right? But that's not keep going. I I know what you're talking about, but keep but keep it's not know why the executive branch is not create this law. Know, the White House is calling on Congressional Republicans to increase the ceiling. Because right now, they the most, that company charge violations of Transportation of hazardous materials is 225,455. It's less than 1% of Norfolk Southern's profits last year. That's 225,000 dollars. That is just that's not an incentive to do anything anything. Yeah. Buy a house in this town. That's 225. That's a ping. A toll you can't buy a parking spot in Boston for that? Yeah. No. It's you definitely can't buy a suit that number 1962. Yeah seems like it has not been adjusted for inflation and inflation. Applicants in Congress and I don't have much faith in them. I just finished in Community member, they get stuff done. There's no dragon Tennessee anymore, you high and dry. All right, last article, I'm sorry, this one has to do with musk. Oh, we almost avoided him. Did you? Had line, which made me curious. So, Elon Musk announced that their new Silicon Valley Engineering headquarters will focus on AI, which was interesting to me because I read articles a few days ago and it was not even 10 days ago that he was issuing warnings against AI. His quote is one of the biggest, one of the biggest risks to Future civilization is AI and now his new engineering headquarters is gonna focus on AI. I'm confused. Of course, he wants to be the biggest risk and my other question is attention whore, but will he pay? Right? Because there's another headline, that says, Elon musk's Twitter hasn't been paying its right now. One of its landlord has to follow, how was it even possible? How was it possible to not paying rent protections again? No last season. Yeah, but I mean, if we didn't pay rent for two months, let's try it out. It. But I think certain states have like stricter protections. I'm not sure. The one also, the fact that he's choosing California again after talking so much, crap, he left in a tantrum, he looked two years ago. Exactly. He left in a hissy good to Texas and now he's back to California. Yeah, the guy is a people out there. He's a constant sleaze bag liar. It's all just a few things in this headline that created alarms for me. So I had to include it because he's exhausting, well, good, Jessie have fun in your Tesla, this weekend, when you go. Come on you. Come on. This is just I mean this solar project anti-people like what? The sun will not right. That's that's your vote. That's my vote, that's just insane. All right, where it is and it's just, wow. I'm still gonna. Yeah, go ahead, Matt. Yeah, you go. I was gonna go, I'm still angry about everything. So, I'm gonna go with this safety violation ceiling. Because, again, these are the same people who feel the the power to go after Black Rock, and the entire ESG industry. And tell companies what to do in that regard. But they don't want to find Other companies, they feel empowered to find something that just the constant, the constant political dance of this party is just kind of makes me ill but but this one really resonates due to, you know, the the train derailment in Ohio. So I got to go with this one. We Should have married them. We should write them letters. I actually, I saw that one. I think that Norfolk Southern is going to get sued by the town and Ohio and the residents of Ohio in a class action lawsuit, and it's gonna cost them multiple billions of dollars. I don't I think the safety violation ceiling Should be raised, but I think they're still going to pay. It just looks like they're not like 10 years, I think Elon know exactly who's on the class action. Lawsuit will mean that half of that will go to the lawyers. Know am I right? But they'll give some to the dead people. So I'll just go the government like, having a backbone and, and preventing 10 years of litigation like our points out, you're anti-capitalist. Um, no Elon Musk is a Perma exhaustion which leaves me with misinformation about solar mostly because solar has existed. You talked about Jimmy Carter. That was 1979 he installed solar panels on the roof of the White House. The solar panels have existed since the 70s are we honestly saying that 50 years of a thing existing and it's not like 50 years ago, what else like you couldn't you wouldn't take like they didn't have commercial jet liners that you could take across, you know, to Japan. But we don't have activist groups saying like, oh well, Those are unreliable. I don't understand. Is the stupidest thing. It's exhausting. I'm going with that. Imagine people trying to make beef jerky, 1000 years ago being like no, no, we can't rely on the sun to dry out the meat that you just killed. I don't want to imagine that or at all. We've been hard to saying energy from the side forever before we wrap up. Us. So what story of the week? Clorox CEO. Linda Reynolds says something important. Guiltless the weak companies. Can't enforce sounds for severance pay. What was yours? Matt, Tennessee, Tennessee, drag, it was political distraction politics asshole of the week and Jesse exhausting of the week spring and permission misinformation about solar projects. So who Before we get out of here, who won the week, anyone Jesse you want to go first? We won the week. We yes. Why tell us why? So we closed the deal with a big investor who bought board saber metrics and you can expect more say like no vote against directors, who have outside influence and terrible performance. Somebody's doing the real work in this country, okay? I like it, Matt. Yeah, we won. Well, I think soy oats and almonds on the week because FDA said, you can call plant-based milk milk and that us consumers are not confused by this label confused. No matter what the dairy Lobby tries to argue against, you know, the culture appropriation of milk. I would just like to point out that American cheese is not even freaking cheese and I don't see Dairy Farmers up in arms about it. Well, they, they wrote, they have to write on the package, cheese-based product. They don't say cheese. Maybe maybe this should be milk adjacent product. So sadly literally means I am milk in Spanish. That means that means Spanish-speaking people everywhere in this country. There are you, the FDA is made it worse. Soy, milk. Sadly, I'm just as moronic as you are. I picked pea milk, the winner, female but not, because I think what I left out because honestly almond milk, is stupid, oat milk is stupid, there's no real nutritional value. There are other than the fact that it's not like lactose, but female everybody. Third one, third of the saturated fat and 50% more calcium than cow's milk, peel milk, that's 100% milk or farts and then you literally have to go and ask for that. Can I have a p milk, latte predictions? Come on predictions. To do. I'll go first because I think one of my 2023 predictions is about to come true. One of my predictions was that 2023 ads and East Asian CEO higher. Matt, we talk a lot about Southeast Asian CEO hires here in America. We do. I said, I said East Asian John Kim, Chief product officer PayPal, I'm predicting the he'll be the next CEO of PayPal John. That's my specific prediction. Yeah. Oh, wow. My eyes kind of boring compared? Oh no, I don't know. 1.6 billion dollar defamation lawsuit against Fox, Corporation by Demi voting systems. The trial begins mid next month and considering the document file League last week. That Really spells out how much Fox News anchors and people at the top knew that they were just spewing lies, which we all known, right? But now it's in paper. It's gonna be in court, man. Wrote it down. Already likes it down. Who could we Sue to help our Revenue? Good question, 1.6 billion. Wow. Yeah, just can you think about potential lawsuits for us? Yeah that's right down a list. Matt, what do you got predictions? I predict a major outbreak of age five and one the flu know it tends to kill 60% of the human infects and in Cambodia A girl actually got it. And it was a mammal to mammal transmission, they think. And that means it's closer to human-to-human transmissibility, which has been a problem for the for the flu, but I think here's why I'm bringing this up. I don't like the business media will report the rise of avian flu as a supply chain disruption, right? And the stock market will focus on Adidas as a big loser because their supply chain died, Cambodia is adidases. Biggest apparel supplier for sportswear 60% comes out of Cambodia, which means Adidas, my prediction is Adidas declares bankruptcy by the end of the year after losing more than a billion dollars on Kanye's. Terrible shoes and because there's supply chain died. Oh my God, I'm ready to go down. How's that? For a prediction is not the greatest. Prediction. That's the present lockers gonna go down right after. Oh I like that here. Come on secondary predictions. That is it as a Friday wrap-up? That's already the data Queen Jesse the money was for Damien. The guy who says things and I met we are free floats if you like this listen next week and buy board saber metrics like your investor friend. And when I say A big one, I mean like leading the charge big one going to do interesting stuff with it. Big one, big one. I can't tell you any more than that, but they won't be the last. So get on board now until then goodbye.
