Hello. I can't do it. I feel weird. We never done no music in a while. Feel strange. Hey, live. From your ESG branded Magic 8 Ball to business pants Friday, show here at March 3rd Blaine Studios. Featuring all your favorites are the data Queen. Why is Ari's always first Jesse the money Whisperer BS man. Matt mascardi on today's weekly wrap-up white cartoonist who tell white people to stay away from black people but who also say they are not racist. Yeah that's a good combo. Think about that. Republican Governors who just say no. CEOs, who promised things on video? I'm excited about that and rain forest flavored toilet paper. That's killing whales. This is really specifically. I like that ESG branded Magic 8 Ball, maybe that's how maybe we'll make that. That's how maybe that will become our only Revenue Source eventually, All right, you ready story of the week everybody ready? Yeah. Jump in. Let's pretend like Matt's playing us. Amazing sound effects, although he's gonna probably add them in post, so I will sound posture. Now I have to say this part out because you are talking about it, I have five quick ones. I'm actually not going to blather on about him this week. They're all pretty self-explanatory. First Starbucks. And I know Ari's talking about Starbucks later. So, a little bit of Italian Starbucks. Demonstrated egregious misconduct in Union fight, judge rules. Starbucks committed egregious, and widespread misconduct while trying to stop labor union campaigns a federal administrative law judge ruled this week. Nice, some recognition Bernie, is that, as Matt drink Starbucks. Bernie is trying to subpoena Howard Schultz, isn't he? Yes. Yeah. Actually, this cup is a Starbucks cup filled with, Howard Schultz's tears. Wrong. She's drinking, someone's tears, are his favorite joke. Number two story, the week. Fox News. Don't forget foxes a publicly traded company. We try to stay away from politics. Although Matt can't really resist every week. Wait a minute. It's like three publicly traded companies. That's not one that's true. Fox Corporation, I think we're talking about. So Fox News election fraud revelation. Could take down the networks in battle chief, for talking about Rupert Murdoch. The big question from a governance point of view. Here is our heads Gonna Roll, what's going to happen. So now we're still the chair, his son Lachlan, still the CEO. There's a on Tesla's board. It's it's rare that the chair of a publicly traded company in a 1.6 billion deformation. Lawsuit. Even a defamation law defamation, that's even weird to say, defamation deep. What'd I say defamation, like I got the sun right in my ears. Like I'm gonna go defecate after the show is over. It's, it's rare that they a chair of a company like this, basically admits that. I am running a shit show. I running a shit show of lies and no, yeah, no one really telling mistreat, it was just it's a rare moment for chairs of boards. It's all gonna say and he's gonna stay put well, he What was his option? He was deposed he could lie under oath and then he goes to jail personally. Whereas this way Fox Court, pays some money and fires Maria bartolomeo or whatever, right? Like and they're fine. Number three. Doesn't like my assessment. He's trying to afford, this is not over fine, president, binds first video, might be to counter anti-esg, investing Bill, who would have thought we, if we had bet on this, that his first video would have to do with ESG, we'd all lose. No, I, I had in the office pool in 2012, that ESG, which doesn't throw that when he became when he was the vice president. That when Biden is President, his veto will be an ESG bill. I mean, this I find this astounding talk about a prediction right there. I was on it, it hasn't happened yet but that's what they're saying, first video to because the the Senate just passed this anti ESG investing bill. Which idiots nobody cares. Okay. Number four. How about this one? The next rumored CEO of Twitter is said to be. Steve Davis. Could you have a more boring name? Thank you, Matt, this is exactly why you picked it. This is why I grabbed this. I think I'm being trolled here. Okay, again, we're the show that covers we cover the market. We covered companies from the perspective of people is what we do here. So when you hear us blathering on about things like this, shut up, this is how we were built this company right away to get the audience engaged. Okay, I'll tell you Ari, Matt. We've developed a theory here that it's it's kind of a vague Tim Cook, slash Southeast Asian, CEO Theory, where you find someone relatively Boring. Yeah, but smart of course qualified. We hope maybe you can and you anoint them into the role and everyone kind of forgets about your company or doesn't know how to criticize it. I'm wondering if elon's doing this here, Steve Davis, not only when you look at him and hear about him is he's just incredibly boring and that name Steve Davis, but he was, and is the CEO of the boring company, which is odd because from everything we've reported here. Matt, the boring company is a bit of a shit show. No, that's the best name company out there. What is it? Girl holds? They purport to solve Transportation crises by building holes have been between cities but nothing has ever. There's more traffic in the whole of the ground. Yeah, it's still it's still a car Centric solution, my husband, Steve Davis, he may not be South East Asian, but might as well be. He is like the Twitter The X Dorsey Twitter CEO, right? He's basically boring and does whatever his master Elon Musk says, well, I'll get to buy prediction. We'll talk about my prediction later but he he's also known for slicing and dicing companies. He's, oh, yeah. He's a ruthless. Does he also dig under them and then they live in a hole not very well, according to the success of the boring company. Anyway, that's the that's the fourth. And finally, the fifth Story of the week was a big one. We started our week off here which is anti-esg cartoonist Scott. Adams of Dilbert famously went the full monty and I we already knew he was racist but it's amazing when a racist can like Become racist, I don't know. But But he's gone. Your expectations. He went full racist flag, he's being dropped again. This is the only reason why we picked up this story in the fall was, his started doing a lot of anti-esg Cartoons and of course, Elon Musk. Sided, with Dilbert guy. Why does he come out to say anything? You must, who, who preached to us? Deleted his tweets, after you learn, most could preach to us, the CEO, should separate politics from everything else comes out and supports this guy. Anyway, those are my five stories. Anyone need a recap. Why don't you get an opinion? Why does Elon Musk get an opinion? Yeah, about what I mean we could all have an opinion millionaire but we all have so dumb. He owns it was on Twitter or distributed, his opinion. I mean, Twitter. Yeah, the sole purpose of Twitter's to distribute Elon musk's opinion. Why is it reporting on Elon musk's opinion about a cartoonist? You don't think it's important that the world's richest, man, whose CEO of 17 companies is, is overtly siding with a racist, that's not important. That's what he does. Thank you. Yeah, I think it's a little bit more important than that. But, okay, that's not your story of the week already. Not my story. I'm gonna vote first. Okay, yeah, go. Oh, yeah, come on. Um, I think the least reported story of the week, but is actually story of the week, is the Fox News. Yeah. If you don't know how to report on it because they're petite, there's like Trump fatigue. I mean, it's literally insane. Like, if you read the texts between the the different hosts, they all think all of their guests are idiots sycophants and we think about our guests, not cases, I mean, just two to the to the last one. They don't believe anything that they're saying and then they go on air and they don't do what what makes it so egregious is they don't say the election was stolen. They imply everything with the question, like was the election stolen, right? We don't know. Like they and they do it in this way. It is so heinous, but you can see what they really think. It's that's the story of the week. That's marvelous. I was not expecting that. Anyone else? I did not want him to go. First just stinks. I will not let you swing me. I just a story of the week. I mean, I will go with President inviting, Biden, president, boring. Well, it's funny potential first video. I'm glad you said that map because many political experts say that that's essentially how Biden won right? Being the boring alternative to Trump, so it does all of our all of our boring, CEO theories. Which are we don't want to do it again, you know. It was for a Time joke. Speak for yourself. I'll take them over anyone from the other side. Yeah, sure. But he's not gonna win. Joe, take a nap in 24. Just you go through ages. He just scared. Jesse. Can you break the tie? Here you go. A different direction for story. That we know I'm gonna go with Fox News as well, that's correct. Yes, is there a reason? Just he loves it. When I tell her I wanted to do Biden as well, but that's just Hasn't happened. So I feel like maybe that's true the week after. I can vote that according to our data board, saber metrics the Murdoch family controls about 70% abort influence. So you're right, Matt, that this is not gonna matter, he's not nothing. I guess they're not gonna go anywhere but Ah, maybe it'll lead to the scintillating question for the world of. Why do we have companies that are dictatorships? Can they go to jail? Elon Musk still is part of this story, because he sat next to Rupert Murdoch, at the Super Bowl and Lachlan is on his board. There is yes. Everything about. Like, I, it's just great and I've already here. Yeah, anything that happens elon's like I'm here, too. Yeah, that's sort of how I feel about you since you've joined the company. Hello. Hello, are you here? All right, I'm surprised by this boat but I'm but I'm pleased because it actually showed off some of your intellectual prowess. Good not you are just the story of the week, Fox News, election fraud, blah blah blah blah. Good News the week, the great Ari data Queen, come on. I got three stories for you. Read your book for us. That have happened really emphasize that point. No gentle book reading. Go ahead, Indonesia shows it's possible to tame rainforest destruction. Okay. They just tamed it like how he fully. Stop forests were Vanishing every year to produce Pomo, from consumer goods, like lipstick, pizza dough. Your pizza dough that nobody made for lipstick, man, I don't need from olive oil, make pizza dough. There's no palm oil. You make it, there's not. But if you buy it really. That's so a lot, like it's one of the, I'm like, the worst cook. It's one of the easiest things to make is a nice Pizza though. I mean, it's so easy. Anyway. So anyway, the forest destruction in Indonesia is at its lowest Pace in 20 years I think that's notable. And the way the way it's happened. No, listen to this. You supposedly are in Eastgate person. You would like this. That's a possibly. Yeah. Five years ago, strict laws from the top, tier of the government came down saying, you cannot destroy the rainforest anymore. On top of that multinational, consumer product companies, pledged our favorite word pledge to avoid palm oil that involved Forest destruction. It blacklisted for slashing plantations and tracked, their activities via satellites. Wait, did somebody blow something up? I'm waiting for the fun part of this action. Well, they look at pictures from the sky and said, don't do that. Well, they did do that, and Indonesian palm oil companies, they pushed back, obviously, they hired lobbyists, they tried to do their best to be like, no, you can't do this. However, yes, it became clear that they either had to adapt or die, and they adapted. All right, look Damien just say that's great and you guys look I think it is great. I have no problem with that Ari. I don't feel I don't know why I don't feel great it. You never falls into Matt's category, right? This is the reversing seasoning. Is that what this is? Yeah, this is reversing stupidity. Yeah, yeah. So I it's hard to feel but yeah, no. Okay, thank you. Like everything that's going on. Isn't that we have to reverse? All this stupidity is just not all progress is reversing stupidity. Is it some of its some of his actual progress? All right. The FDA rejected Elon musk's bid to test brain chips in humans. Good. You know where they probably got the idea that there's a safety rest. All the, all the dead monkeys that they put the chips in and all the Tesla's crashing and all just with the chips that ran over babies. Well, Elon Musk, and this company, New Orleans, they've been talking about his company. They've been talking about testing like the the actual device being ready to test in human brains since 2016, but they didn't actually apply for permission until 2022. well, he is as Matt pointed out in the show yesterday, I believe he's Kind of our modern day Wizard of Oz, right? He just sort of says he says stuff. He just said he doesn't achieve. Yeah, yeah. Anyway, take it till you make a baby. The empty dad, the FDA did reject this application last year but the news just came out a couple of days ago and the fda's main concerns besides the battery device and the potential for the tiny wires that are implanted in your brain migrate to others over whether and how the device can be removed without damaging. Oh, that's concerns. Well, I have so many more, I mean, like, those that basically, they just said, putting a thing in your brains a bad idea. Like that's like, we don't know that you can actually remove it without calling. We don't really put it in or remove it or if it will impregnate you, or if it will just move around in there. You put it over here and ends up over there. What they just say hey dummy, get yourself, driving. Cars done, right first and then come talk to us. I just saw that you get a time please. I was looking at an article this morning, an organization that ranks the best self-driving car software Tesla's, not even in the top 10 I didn't even know their 10 companies doing this. Yeah. There shouldn't be. They're not even cracking the top 10. This guy's such a blow hard liar. So like, are we are we that bad at driving that we needed something to drive for us? It's pretty good at it. I feel pretty good at it. I have a lot of Hills, I have snow. I, I'm always, I'm going up the hill. Come on. I mean, taking us to borrow his mom's car when he wants to go. I love my story. So or come to Hartford. He's just so used. To like willing. Things. And it will. become a real one day become, you know, that's called Is called being a white guy that's called from South Africa. Are this one sort of scares me? I'm glad the FDA is saying, no, but feel it's coming. I feel like we're missing a big part of this, where he said that eventually, they'll turn people into cyborgs and the FDA didn't have anything to say about that point. Yeah, that's good. Yeah. Well, they're probably though, probably just said that, The Optimist, robot will populate the earth and the Prototype of the Optimus robot was a guy wearing a body suit. It wasn't even a robot. But just it's your point which I think is a good one is that this is not under the fda's purview right? And we don't actually have a body that does regulate things like turning able to play like and we would absolutely should anyway what else you got Ari come on. All right then last week my favorite one. Yeah Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz may have to promise on camera to stop Violating labor law as part of a US judges or so, this is hysterical. Oh my gosh. So a judge on the US National Labor Relations Board. Ruled, like Jamie said, Starbucks illegally tried to suppress labor, organizing Buffalo stores and they're saying that Starbucks and the CEO has to promise to stop doing this shit. I think all CEOs, have to promise. Yeah. What we need this time out, he's in time out, but it's worse than that, because it's not even like, yeah, you know, the number of things that CEOs, say on camera that like six months later, they do the opposite of anyway, like what is this is like the stupidest punishment. The problem should be is no more Holocaust blankets. You're fired. Howard Schultz, that's the promise me. and, If she very exciting about this story actually, is that the the next, the new CEO of Starbucks is actually due to take over on April Fool's Day. That's true. So maybe maybe the CEO in the transition can go on video and promise on that his first day at Starbucks. This is good as Brewing here. I prom not. Children. Yeah. Right. That person would be like. That was last. I have an easy vote on this one. Go ahead. Matt. It's all anti Elon Musk all the time. I'm, I, I do think it's his terrible driving around with Jesse. Yeah, I think it's hysterical that. Howard Schultz might have to like turn on his iPhone say I promise not to smash unions anymore or I promise, not to break labor laws. My fingers are crossed, does it on tiktok? And this is like a binding contract according to the US and RP. How old Is Judge. That's what I wanted. I think that's funny, but I do think of the FDA telling Elon Musk your brain ships seem to suck horribly and will probably kill people and migrated all over their brains is, is better as as the head of the media Branch here at freeflow. I'm gonna have to go. I'm voting Howard Schultz, all the way, this is just gold. It is content gold. I mean, I just love. I love, I love this judge, I don't even know, I don't know, we would play the clip of him, promising on repeat and every show for a year. What we know Howard likes to show up in like, Badger his workers. With, as you said, Matt with stories about the Holocaust blankets and stuff. So, yeah, turn on the video and Pete. Just, this would be so great for people looking to eat at Starbucks employees, trying to unionize. So, when he goes on his little tour of, you know, busting them, they can just have that plane before. Hold up their phone and they're like, look, you promised Every required meeting. They have to go to look, you promise. Yeah, I already like this. Jesse, do you want to break the tie? We have a different different boat. Yeah. Or do you want to go a different direction? No. I want to do Elon Musk. Oh just he's correct twice in a row to kill for driving a Tesla holiday. Just is now. Turn the show into here in the corner agreeing with Jesse admit. Admit that's guilt because you actually you drive around in a Tesla. Yeah, I I've told you guys, I feel slimy about it. But back last March 1st. He wasn't this much of an ass. Yeah, it was. Yeah, he was he was less of an asshole. No. Come on. We covered him for two years. No man objectively. He was less. I had the data to prove it. He was I got my super today though. So we're good. I can't believe you didn't go for the only Story, the shows actual company change through rules like wow, no, no rain forest. Got tamed like a weird. Well, I'll be I'll be honest with you Ari. I don't we don't spend a lot of time talking about Indonesian companies and you you got me while you were reporting on the store. You actually got me to go to my big spreadsheet of companies. I filtered for Indonesian companies, I'm gonna take a closer look at them, maybe we can report on our data next week about Indonesian companies we don't we don't talk about in it was making Damien, do his job. Good job. Good work. All right, who's up next? Speaking of asshole, comments as holy is the week already. Yeah. All right. I got. How many do I have? I three and there there, as you would expect the first up. Is Steve Toth, okay? So you may not know who Steve tauth is he is a Texas house representative, so not like you know, the Congressional but like the state, he is saying that. Okay. Well, let me just let me just give you some background. It is illegal for minors to buy porn cigarettes and alcohol on the internet technically. However, you can buy porn alcohol and cigarettes on the internet as we all know, right? I can buy you can you can actually alcohol can get delivered to your house. You just say you're 21. And you're pretty much good to go. Oh, I buy. I get buy a semi-automatic rifle on the internet and like have it delivered. Yeah, you can buy anything. I didn't even know that. Yeah. You get anything and Specialty. Texas is a place called, like, Texas, wholesale where you can buy sure like 6,000 cartons of Marlboro. Reds makes sense. Um, and and in Texas, now though, here's the headline, Texas. Republican wants isps to block a wide range of abortion website, right there, actually asking the internet providers to block websites, that offer anything, resembling abortion, or a Women's Healthcare information, Shit. My God. It's like if they have pills available like plan b or any of those pills they want they're asking isps to block it in Texas, do that it's China. What if I'm what if I'm from Maine and I'm visiting my friend in Texas and I want to be lost your right? No. No, you can't. That's crazy. I'm really just ludicrously nuts. And why did I pick Toth and not the rule because tall is on a roll. Here's what else he's been doing recently. He authored and anti-trans Bill. He authored a bill requiring. A partisan member to join Independent School boards so that Republicans could put conservatives on boards, requiring, wow, they require a partisan member. They didn't even pretend, he said, we want basically, we want our state party to sit on your school board. That doesn't sound communist China. I don't know. What does they require a borrower for a home? Equity loan now to show up in person so you can't like, sign, documents online. They want you to show up in person to show that you. Yeah, so they look at me. Like, you look kind of Trance to me. They are requiring you to report any and all vacc. Side effects false, or otherwise in into a database. Yeah, explain that. So there they, he suggested a bill that there's a vaccine data like it's a sort of a well-known but people put a lot of fake vaccines side effects into it database of them, he's requiring. When Healthcare Providers are given a side effect, they have to put it into this non-scientific. Fake database. I've yet to hear anyone complain about getting a vaccine. No one ever says anything. Weird happens. He actually author of Cohen. These are just ability. Authored, not fonsi signed. He authored. One prohibiting business institutions from having values. They said, they're not allowed to have Sweden values, but I'm not kidding company. Value Pages. What are we gonna do with those? Those web pages? The one will be blocked. What? I just read to you is what he authored since January 1st is this year this year. He's a hard-working man. Can we just stop this category? Can I give him my vote? Honestly, text, when are companies going to be like we cannot work and we can't have businesses in Texas. Texas is China. There's no point in going so he didn't Elon Musk. Just do a U-turn and bring the headquarters back to caliber because it's insane. There are more regulations about what you can do and can't do in Texas. They're telling you actively what to do. They're not protecting human beings. They're just telling you I love I'm gonna give you. They're all like the small government. Party and yeah, they are in your classroom in your bedroom. Oh yeah. Pop Quiz. Where did Steve Toth go to college? Was it Yukon University of Connecticut? Was it Harvard? Was it Stanford? Or was it Rochester Bible College? Well, that's a trick question because you made a Rochester Bible College and no I didn't. That's where he went to school. So that's generation State alive and well, yeah, go that's number one. Number two. Here's a headline GOP, Governors. Tout green, Bona fides amid anti-esg backlash. All right, this is by the great Sagal keshan out of Bloomberg. Let me just give you some of the GOP members who are on the anti-esg anti-wolf gravy train. And who are simultaneously talking about how green they are. Let's start with Mark Gordon from Wyoming. February governor governor Wyoming Mark Gordon. Yeah, Mark Gordon, governor of Wyoming from February 26th, the Texas policy Foundation, credited, Mark Gordon as starting the national movement against woke capitalism, there's started. They say he started. Yes, a special badge. And then from Sage's article of Bloomberg, Wyoming's Mark Gordon said his state is known for its Forward Thinking on the environment and climate, that's a quote from all their Forward Thinking. So you're the ones that are trying to kill all the solar panels, how about Doug burgum from North Dakota. I mean heard of these Governors. Yeah go ahead. Doug burgum from February 7th. The fact is this is a quote, the fact is our nation and its citizens can't reach their full potential until this Administration, recognizes that the real path of progress is innovation. Not regulation that. Our national security is stronger. When we sell energy to our friends and allies versus buy it from our adversaries, by taking the handcuffs, off our farmers and ranchers, entrepreneurs and energy, producers we can re-establish America's dominance in feeding and fueling the world. Very oily guy, just some oil Dakota. Yeah, from the article North Dakota's Doug burgum says he expects his state to achieve carbon neutrality by 230 out there. Pledging in 2030 Net. Zero. I'm really confused that zero How about Kristi noem from South Dakota? Yeah, everyone's favorite know? Here's here's a headline from 2021. Gnome joins, law. Suit challenging social cost of climate change. Was one of the governors at the time who was basically saying that there was no social cost to climate change that this is a frivolous, you know, thing that they should be assessing. And then from the article, Christy Noam highlighted a new one billion. Dollar plant called net, zero one. Oh, that will produce sustainable aviation fuel. She called the largest she calls the largest economic development in South Dakota's history. And she said, quote, they will literally turn corn into jet fuel as impossible as that sounds. You know what's that's not impossible? They've been doing that for 30 years ever heard of ethanol, it's unbelievable. Um, shall I go on? I got marked a wine from Ohio on video State. All right, here's mark. Dewine from Ohio, vivek's home state. Here's a headline in December. When Ohio, Governor, Mark dewine, signed legislation that legally defines natural gas, as a source of green energy. I remember that one. He signed a bill that said, natural gas is green. He said it's green, it's clean. Let's make it something like that. And then from the article, quote Ohio, which has a rich history and Automotive has also become an emerging force and electric vehicle and EV parts manufacturing, they are doubling down on being the manufacturer of electric vehicles Parts. There's Oklahoma the South Carolina, all right come on West Virginia West Virginia just stop, just stop. And then finally Scott Adams. Wait let's go. Adams is a, is the third, the third assholes of the week is Scott. Oh my God, governor of Delta Dilbert. Yeah, so Steve Toth GOP Governors getting carbon Whiplash and Scott Adams or outstanding himself. I'm gonna race. I'll go quickly and head off to Ari. Matt. They're all. You know, great examples of assholes. So there's no there's no way to lose this this week. It's a total Force this week, I vote for Steve talked. oh, she front-run you, how dare you Go on Damien, please finish fine. Well then there's no drama. Now, you know what, I'll change my vote and let Jesse decide. I'll change my vote to anti-esg racist asshole, Scott Adams. There you go, Scott Adams. The tie a question before, Oh, we need to clarify some asshole. Misses just idiots, or are they? Like, they're Republican. I think it's more cycle paths. Although there's no idiot, like, they're intelligent enough to know that what their pedaling is bullshit, but they're like, oh no, they're not convincing, this is political expediency. They're saying what they have to say to get elected which is what green and then they know that this is jobs and economic development and literally just like a path. Everything they're saying is about how much money they're making from these things which which has been our point for a long time. Is that, you know, I don't care that. You don't believe in the science, but why not? Just head your bets? And just make, there's a lot of money to be made here, just make some money, shut up, just shut up, and make the money and and and and build green forward, crap. I mean, if you were a true capitalist, you would look at this and say, like even if you said you thought the science was crazy and sell everything. You would just say you idiots wanna pay for this then? Yes, exactly do it. That's it. That's what a pure capitalist, you know. How many different types of Colgate toothpaste? There are Jesse. So this there's no reason why we can't just sell all that. You shouldn't oh I don't use Colgate. Go ahead Jesse. Do you want to break the tie? What do you think? I mean yeah obviously Steve Toth because wow I want to access abortions if I'm busy I just want to access whatever I want on the internet. Yeah well I don't know anymore I don't want you on my segment so got to go. Well I I almost doubled with they just signed into law. The band on trans. Are not trans drag shows in Tennessee, and I almost coupled the two together, but I really, there's just too many. This is a tour de force asshole. Week, I'm gonna say, Matt, you forgot to, yeah, you forgot that the governor of Tennessee who signed that bill. And then there's a guy in Texas. Also pushing into drag Bill, both this week, pictures surface of them dressed in drag, its really a spectacular week for assholes between us and Murdoch and Adams, and it's like way to the great Jesse Scanlon for exhausting, this of the week. Come on, Jessie, the money Whisperer. Yeah. I've got, I've got a couple exhausting things for us to cover. Come on, you ready? Pick it up? Okay, yeah, all right toss it already. We're on the, we're on the EV train again, the metal used to produce F-150 Lightning, so Ford's truck EV truck, it just that truck is making thousands in the Amazon, rainforest sick. What they make them sick, what? Yeah, Bloomberg traced, the refinery, that produces the aluminum for the Lightning's metal to the Amazon and they discovered a class action lawsuit filed against the owner of the refinery. Are you doing that? It's polluting nearby rivers and streams. Sure endangering thousands of Brazilians in the process. The lawsuit represents 11,000 residents who live in communities, close to hydro Alan Norte which is the refinery in Brazil which is owned by Norwegian Allah Aluminum Company. North Hydro. Oh no. I saw in the article a bottle of very Mucky water for Jesse was holding up its Brown murky water. Yeah just described my coffee basically. Yeah so okay that's some pleasant I mean I think better place like Come on for. Like, I just don't know how you can advertise an EV, which is probably, they're probably gonna advertise it by saying that it's climate friendly or the way to go and then, or you can plug your house into it a little bit or you can search. I want this truck actually, you do a little bit of research and you find out that it's bullshit. Look, Jesse. Sometimes you just have to learn, not to do the research and then it's all fine. The thing that's crazy is that this probably took Bloomberg like 10 minute Google search to finger this out, like, what? Aluminum come what, I think the aluminum come from, and actually, I think the governor of New York blocked Bloomberg's access to Google, I actually, what did you think about this story? Or the question of, like, finding that out is one of the things that people that were talking to about board saber metrics, which is effectively undressing, every board member in the entire world. We get to show you. This is a good show like their performance. You can actually say, individual performance, right? So it's never been done before. And some of the feedback we're getting is that they kind of don't want to know because they don't want to know how wrong they've been, right? Like it's like, if you say that every vote you've made, like, 30% of your vote for people that weak at the jobs that they're doing new data, there's new data available. So I'm just telling you, there's a human instinct to that's terrible, put your head in the sand and not know, which is exactly what like this story is about. Or what you're exhausted about. Well yeah, and I mean I feel like it's larger too because we've heard about lithium batteries and how they're not always great. So it's like, if you're gonna do something that's supposedly better for the world and the climate, why not? Just do it right? All the way through. Why, why Corners with your aluminum or your lithium batteries 80,000 dollars to buy the 11,000 disappointed? I don't know, I'm disappointed, Jesse, I feel you. I'm still that was the start. Line is. Active online shopping is. Far away. I like whales. So, all right shopping, here's the background and a spike in online shopping. During the pandemic has resulted in an increase in cargo ships. Hauling the goods, across the Atlantic, you know, into New York, into New Jersey, And they're all so larger because they have huge. So the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has proposed speed limits, which could give whales. Ideally would give whales enough time to move out of the way of the oncoming ships but obviously the rules that's slow. I didn't realize that. Hey, is that they're in this area? Because they're chasing food and they're not always going to give up the chase because there's this boat that's coming so they like are wheels Dopey. Yeah this is a Evolution here. I want them to stick around. So boat. Okay boats can strike them, they causes internal injury. What's the other propellers can have? Can make large gashes? Oh I didn't want to say that. Like this is why it's included in this week. Two, whales that wash up dead along that line of Coast this week. We're determined to have been struck by vessels. Well, just if only Elon could put a chip in their brains and make them move out of the fucking way, But just see there is a there's an increase in this is what you're saying. There has been an increase since the pandemic and it hasn't been slowing down and just this week two of them. Popped up dead and they were they were confirmed to be hit by struck by vessels. All right, all right. Let's move on Greenpeace. Okay, come on. So We, I just want everyone to know and be aware. This is almost like a PSA. This next one. Oh my God. Getting itchy. We are butts with for, I mean, I am not but everybody else. You are butts with forever, chemicals. Yes, ceiling my butt hole? That's really what it's sleeping. I want to learn more about this, okay? So these are components called they're called they're referred to as forever chemicals, but they're probably flooring something sure. They've been found in a ray of everyday products so you're nonstick pots and pans, right? We're ready to do that. I don't like my butt with the leggings. You don't like the one that I'm wearing. So leggings anything with plot like clothing that now has plastic in it because it wants to be moisture wicking and all this bullshit, your personal care products of course. So these all have. Well, you wipe your butt though. It's not you My butt, he's so anyways, go get your bidets go get. But so anyways these I want a bidet the way these two what the toilet paper has the pifas. And obviously our butts and body parts are very our skin absorbs things. So it's absorbing the pee fuzz which accumulate in our butt they they're forever chemicals. So they never ever go away. So they're accumulating in our body but that's not even what this article is getting. At the thing that this article is touching on is that once we put that into our toilets and flush them, they're now in our sewer systems and they cannot break down. So, in the environment, they they're just moving through soil water and all of our systems contaminating, our drinking water, and accumulating in our Wildlife, go on and check your water. It sounds like it's already a done deal. It's like we are already did this? Well, no, we could buy better Brands, so I use a brand of toilet paper called who gives a crap their third Already tested and they don't have pifas. So that's true. You really do you really don't drink bougie water and you drive a test. It's bamboo. So it's it's a more sustainable material than it's seven dollars per square. It's not just I don't want to put the spotlight on you too much, but you, you took the effort to look into your toilet paper, but you didn't take the effort to look into the, the car, the car that you bought it asshole, it's her future, that's true. He was not a closet, but I hear what you're saying. Eventually, fiancee and husband's car. Anyway, how much does this toilet paper cost? It was like 50 bucks for a whole year supply for a roll, eight dollars, a square that would be 300 dollars at that house. Just that's her butt. I will say we do have a bidet in one of our well. Okay, first of all, rob doesn't use it because he couldn't but then he pooped on intended, he's dead and he's like, okay, it's not bad. He thought it was gonna be like, like rip on him or something. It's really, it's, it's really good. Really talking about the bidet, I don't know what's going on. But yeah, so get yourself. All right, days and look into all right, toilet paper, I'm exhausted. I'm not exhausted by wiping my butt. That's that's not exhausting me. Um, the I like the Ford F-150 too much to think too hard about you. Okay. Now, you know why we Rob has a test Except that I don't have like the truck. I got like that truck. So hey I I want to get a truck. What about the rivian? That's that was for the number one. Dual class company that has no customer service and has one of they they just like recalled. All of them is it a publicly traded company publicly traded? Yeah. And like they're only back. They're backer that got them to this point was Amazon that so they oh Bill's Ridge, just voted the favorite Eevee and the land. Well, the Ford F-150. What I like about it is that you can plug it into your house, on the power, goes out and it acts as a battery for your house. You know what this does that? I don't care about the power goes out. Put on a candle read a book. Shut off. Oh yeah, just try that with a five year old. Shut up, child. Here's a candle. I'm gonna get my five year old to Canada. So you think my children who are old? Now we're never five. I think the power when they were five at a different time. Yeah you're right. I'm gonna go with what killing killing whales. I'm gonna go forward because this is very disappointing. I'm actually disappointed. And I also want that truck not that I'll ever get it because it's so expensive. But Ford are you shaming Matt's well? Yeah, I'm gonna get it either. No, I'm never gonna get it wiping our butts. I mean, I, I, kind of see these are all these stores are interested in a bit, Jesse. They're all kind of in the same Vibe of exhausting. Yeah. Bye. I'm gonna go with number two. Online shopping. Killing was because this our shopping addiction leads to so many societal problems that we don't yet talked about. So I took a good entryway into this topic noon. I mean Damian is correct. This is why we label. This is why here at business pants and, and free flow. And hopefully soon our platform will be available to the public. This is why we label companies, like Target as drugs companies, because really people have developed these addictions to things like, you know, to, as you said to online shopping, I don't think they need 70% of the shit, they're buying. Yeah, but where am I going to get? Who gives a crap? Where do you buy that? You do have to get it. Line comes over on a shipping container from China. That's running over whale's on the way. You're you're FIFA free ass. It's from New Zealand. Oh my God. Jesse, you better than that? You have a warehouse did? Well, yes, it comes from. Do they track day? It came in like two days. There's no way. There's no American company by that. They didn't run over any whales to get your ass FIFA's. Free. Do they followed a good point? So just see just in light of your first story. It's, it's a valid point. Now, I mean, in light of what you're saying about Ford in Brazil, yeah, you're toilet. Paper is going on an ocean journey to get to your house to get to the warehouse that takes. I feel two days. Yeah. I feel like, where do you think your stops coming from you think so? Then you the Ford F150, where do you think all this stuff comes from? We are aluminum made. Come on. I that's true. You can't. All right? They're just killing a different brown people getting destroyed. So you can't say that. You're you want to protect the climate and then also go by the Ford F-150. He didn't say he wants to protect the climate, he just want the new toy for his children. All right, before we get out of here, who won the week, anyone Tesla driver, who won the week? Won the week? I have Elon won the week. Why? Because somehow, when Scott Adams says, something he gets canceled, but when musk repeats it and agrees, nothing fucking happens. All right. Cancel all man, winning all the time. We have to admit that Elon Musk every time we think he's gonna lose every time we're saying Twitter is a shit show. Tesla's falling down the drain. He's an asshole. He went he's now the richest man in the world. Again, he's winning all the time he's like supposedly the Tesla investor show was a failure. Yeah, that's all okay, everything's a failure. All the time and the media. And and Matt, I will disagree with you Scott, Adams was not canceled. He was fired for being a racist canceled. Get rid of the canceled word. I don't like the what, that evokes my winner of the week are people who still buy newspapers? And who read the comic strips? Yeah, that's a small cohort. They don't have to deal with Scott Adams anymore. So, seven of them are. I don't see any winners. Anyone else predictions. I got a prediction. It's just the two of us again. Um, yeah, go ahead. I predict the conservatives in the US become the largest purchasers of ESG data in the first quarter of 2023 right there because they absolutely 100% need the data. If they're going to ban trans black Jews from providing abortions in their state, there's no way to have to identify to figure out who they are without data. And my guess is, they become the biggest purchasers. And if you're listening, conservative antiques, come talk to us board, saber metrics baby all day long. We got data for you. Know, I I need, I need Revenue. The Matt, this is the precise reason we made fun of Peter Thiel, right? He railed against the ESG industry for, for naming and shaming and making lists. And then at the end of his speech, he named and shamed and asked to make lists. Yes. And worse than that, Peter Thiel is the biggest hypocrite because while saying, ESG is a scam and ESG more like CCP, and all of that stuff, all of that hypocrisy, his fund, the founders fund is an investor in an ESG startup that called Clarity AI. They do AI based, ESG, rating, Peter Collins make ratings for ESG, that calling Dick is like, actually invested in ESG. Here's my prediction, it's actually Elon Musk related, so after Mr. Boring takes over Twitter already. Forgot his name. It's like Steve McQuaid Davis. Shaun White Guy after Takes over Twitter, he systematically gets rid of Twitter. Everybody just gets rid of everything and then musk is going to merge Tesla, Twitter and SpaceX and Rebrand it as X. I think this is the start that he said this is the start though. I think this is the start. I think it's all. It's all gonna be merged together before the end of the year. I don't understand how Twitter fits in with any sort of vision with that. Like are you supposed to be like tweeting in your rocket to buy? Sure whatever. The only on Mars is a musk owned property and he controls it. It's fine. It's all cares about. All right. That's it. That's the show. That's Friday, wrapped up, we are business, pants, free flow Sports, saber metrics. That's already the data Queen and Jesse money, whisper, and Damien the guy and I'm another guy and that's all we got come back next week when I won't be here on Monday. But someone God will be. It'll be just the Damien show. Probably know, maybe One of the highly Jesse and Ken duberstein one of Kenny will be there and that's all we got come back next week until then goodbye. Which is toilet. Paper is not better.
