Live from the one true layer of BS. Yeah. Right that everybody's here. I didn't write down everybody being here. Actually Ari's. Not here. It's true. We have the only ESG adjacent game show ever made. Like we can say that pretty confidently business pants on Thursday. April 20th, it's 4:20 today, featuring an In the Flesh. Jamie Rallis Jesse the money Whisperer and Courtney. Courtney. We don't have a Courtney Cook but we don't have like a Monica. Well she's part of the corporate theater. She edits for Jesse, right? She is a jack of all trades and she's joining us for what has to be the best game ever invented. Jesse's SpaceX explosion called April 20th, 2023. It's who the f is that? That's the name of the game. Where's my excitement? Show where we ask what, you know about the people who actually run the companies, we buy shitt from, I'm excited to hear what Courtney. Now the point of this game and this is mostly for Courtney's, benefit because, Jesse, and Damien the played is, you should know. None of these people. Okay. You're not supposed to know who they are. That's fine. No one cares. Okay, you just take wild guesses and figure that they're probably in the news, or their companies, or in the news. All right, let's do it. All right. Here's number one. SpaceX know. Andrew Campion. I see I know you should know the name. Damien gamble? Oh, see that's a wild stab. Wow, yeah. I just killed up a few in my head and well, you should killing them from news. From actual news. I look at the news later today is usually when I look at the news. So several hours after you need to know it, we look at the news. I'm saying Nike, I don't know. Nike is a guest, that's a guess. Courtney's going to guess, we're gonna guess. Hannaford Hannaford grocery stores. They are publicly traded. I'm gonna say that they are. The one true answer is Nike. He's the CEO at Nike. That's right. He's also a board member at Starbucks, which is where he's on the board. Any credit for this? You are getting credit for it. You just got here, right? Just, we're against each other. Of course he's also director at LeBron James's Entertainment Company Spring Hill. I didn't know LeBron had a entertainment. Yeah, he does. What basketball player does not have an interview, so that's publicly traded not publicly traded know but he's ex-disney. He was the Eisner to Eiger transition. He was at Disney. During the transition he worked for Eisner and Iker. What do you do? Here's why you should know him Starbucks Union is using Billboards, a brass band and a butter sculpture pressure board members from Nike Land O'Lakes. And let go, he is one of the board members being pressured by Starbucks unions in his hometown. Um, our stats say, he's a rotation player. He bats 404 overall, so under 500. But he's a vote, he's a vote, he's strong at Ibotta, and he's weak at Carbon. In fact, what I found today, I didn't know this of large cap companies in the United States Starbucks has the worst carbon team of all large cap companies. Another reason, why Starbucks is my favorite, the worst carbon best company. How Starbucks is the worst carbon intensity team? That's directors. What what's most important there is that? They are superlative. They are they, right? I just love Starbucks. I can't get enough of Starbucks. Here's one other thing that you should know about. Andrew himself, strive Asset Management, the anti-wolf that the Romans Swami Courtney. Do you know Vivica almost like a friend yours. Oh Vivek. Yes. Wait. Yes. We did not edit something recently about Vivica. What was life and what did he reminds me? He's running, he's a presidential candidate. He's the news, darling, he's dark. He is just one of the worst humans, you know, mouth breathing all over Vivek objective here. Um, it was he was an asshole of the week. Matt. Yeah. Was that he was the week. That's probably where you saw it. He was. That is objective. That's facts. Based they did a bunch of tweets that were like all ridiculous. He talks, he likes to talk a lot about the meritocracy. Oh, right, right, right? Yeah. Well, he was on your show and he was on our show. Presidential candidate Vivint, Ramos Swami on our show. Um, strive the asset manager, he founded Voted against every member of the Starbucks board. Except Andrew, who they abstained? Why would you do that? Well, I don't know. They don't, they don't give an explanation because, hey, people at strive are listening and be I'm trying to lure them into our show strive Isn't it? Not a very manly act to not make a decision? No abstaining. Yeah, you can either vote for or against what's abstain nonsense. Accent. Nobody has indecisive? That's not excellent. Well, first of all, nobody is quite explained to me why abstain is even an option. It's a good, another good. I mean, what is that? Just mean like, you're tired and he was the last one and they were like, oh, whatever he wasn't listening. Usually you didn't hear the first part. Yeah, I need to give up on this abstention is basically there because I think at some point when they, when when Jesus created proxy voting or however it happened, that's how was your zero, right? I thought isn't that Genesis, that what which Bible verse is that I think though they recognized that, there are so many corporate directors that you cannot possibly know them all. So, you have to have the ability to not vote to just pass and be like someone else knows something about this person Japanese where you're advising, people had a vote on things. Well, you'd think they would know Andrew because he's been on the Starbucks board. Since 2019. So they've had connections to Nike and they've had a little bit of time. In fact, didn't they write letters to all three of those companies? They really did not like Disney because they're so woke and I think they wrote a letter to night. They too. I don't think they did Nike but they don't like note Nike because I don't like black people. That's yeah, that is true. But just just as a to wrap up to Bow, the Andrew Campion question. His Starbucks. Drink of choice is and he guesses doppio whatever. Definitely an oatmeal. I don't know. Any Starbucks drinks. Other than wait for it. A black coffee, I think it's a marathon. Oh, alright, Mary Connell. I know that one, too. It is a brown sugar oat milk latte. That's right. Oh, that's right. I like Yeah, I know you're the guy who gets the brown sugar. Oatmeal? Honest, I like all milks. Delicious salad. Usually it means I'm pooping myself. All right? Next up. Here's now next up, Mark Weinberger. Oh God burger burger, could be but it's e r. G e r. Would you go with error or urge? Weinberger, I think. Mark Weinberger I have to guess first I need a little bit more time Courtney Dick's. Oh I like that. Yes I like that gas. That's why I wanted to go not first cuz then I could see how Matt reacted to it. He just like hearing the word dick know. I just like that's a good guess. It's like one of those like yeah, publicly traded company. Yeah, we would talk about a lot. We do not want a news recently, but that's fine. Adidas. Also, you're just on the Nike to Adidas, I'm, I'm gonna pick a bank. How about Wells, Fargo? Oh, you're all wrong. As you should be. He's the X Global chair and CEO of Ernst & Young UI, but he's a current board member of Johnson & Johnson. My first guest is closer also MetLife, which is close to a bank and Saudi aramco. The largest producer of oil in the entire world. Yeah. There should have known that. Yeah, they are the Giant bloaty. Black goo company um why you should know Mark wein Burger, is he chairs the committee that had to approve this? Yeah, Johnson and Johnson offers nine billion dollars to settle talc claims. Okay? He's on the committee of 9 billion nine billion with a big, that's what was the settlement for Fox Corporation. 787 787 so subverting elections, 7807. Giving babies asses cancer, nine billion. There you go. That's That's how metrics were. So we're saying he's on the governance board. We're saying we like him because he passed he's giving a lot of money or we don't like him because they should have not been putting chemicals in their talk. Anyway, I think what we're saying is This is a person whose name you've never heard. Yeah. Who is negotiating? How many billions of dollars the cancer? They accidentally gave your babies as worth. And just don't forget. We don't tell people who to like, we're just presenting data. I know. But I'm trying, I'm trying to form an opinion on him. I'm a long side with our listeners on this. Yes, appreciate that. So for the record, I don't like, I don't like anyone. I know, that's obviously. So here is the, here's our stats on him, he's a rotation player. Yes, so he's not great, he bets 365 overall. He's a little bit, okay, on carbon and abysmal with controversies that's bad. So 500, right. So for anybody who isn't baseball has been on that tracks. Yeah, that's a Hall of Fame. 500 is your average player, your average player about 500. So your average board member bats, a 500 that means they're doing mediocre on a bunch of metrics include carbon earnings stock return controversies When you bat under 500, you suck you. It takes a lot. You suck five is accepted is essentially, what's that? Something's pulling you down. Yeah, his case controversies. Yeah. That is yeah. Liking this new site of Jesse, this ESG. And Jesse is starting to finally bubble up to the surface. Yes, Jesse. All right, next up, geothermal experiment. Are you ready? Yeah. Paul Ryan, why do they go? I went right to Chicago, you all should know this one. You all should know Paul Ryan that is closer than you would imagine. It should be yes. Any other votes. Any other guests like 50 Public Courtney's at the top of my head. I was gonna say, and I think everybody used both of mine so Hannaford Hannaford again. I know it's wrong, but I'm just gonna say Disney because I can't think of any other company. It is wrong. He's X speaker of the house. Paul Ryan. Oh, it is, it is, it is Paul Ryan, Paul Ryan news. So it is Fox Corporation. Fox Corporation? I thought maybe? Yeah, actually is Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan is the current chair of the governance committee at Fox Corporation and you should know him because 7887 he's the one on the governance committee are, who's supposed to be the one sort of overseeing, what they are and how they, you know, deal with regulation and stuff like that, right? He's like the only person at Fox whose He's easy and never Trumper. I think he is he speaks out against Trump these days, wasn't he? The one whose son at some swearing in did one of What's this called? Oh, what is that a dad? Yeah, Paul Ryan his kid who acts who accidentally did it and he tried to like smother him. I have no idea. I like the story. We'll have that one up. I would hope the foxes for defamation after the famous Paul Ryan. The one day I come in, yes. Dad was probably mad for a very long. That's not a thing you plan. Yeah, that was just that was you don't like, oh, now we're getting even deeper into the defamation. All right, so my I have a prediction about Paul Ryan that Rupert, Murdoch, roops fires Paul and blames him. So it was his fault that the anchors lied on Fox. Whoa. Because isn't he the head of the governance committee. His job, even though the Murdoch's own 81% of the influence of that board, according to our metrics. I would, I would say it was that guy's fault, I'm glad you're talking about it in this way because no one ever refers to the Committees and the boards. Sometimes they refer to the directors, but no one actually pinpoints, what the Committees are there for in the first place, they're supposed to be overseeing. This, like, we know that it's pointless in a company, like foxes situation where Rupert owns it. Alright, let's say they're saying these are their duties. They have a charter. They're supposed to do this thing. So, Paul Ryan, welcome to that action. I got two more. Okay, one more. One more than enough. I'm, by the way, I'm the only one with a point kind of a point. All right, these two are relatively quick, you ready? Yeah. Michael a volcano. Hurt Damien's brain. I just covered Damien Damien. Absolutely should get this one. but just think, like, what kind of company would I like Michael volcano to be on the board of It's like BNP pariba Harry Potter? Wow! Is that going with like a volcano? Sounds friendship. Oh I was really trying to think of something like Brazilian like Bimbo's best friend. Wow that's that. But what's the bread? The bread not Bimbo's. I think I'll show you. Know, we're down here. That's one guess. Throw my vote right into the TJ Maxx. Trash can, oh, I like that. That's great. And it's better. I can't tell you the strip mall. You, bye. I'm gonna give you one more second and you're gonna hate it when I did the hermit it's not Herman Miller. It is Oh, Miller know, it is I got he is the X, put it in the newsletter, is the ex CEO of Herman Miller right now. The current chair even more about his show. Its I covered this in the show notes and I think it's in the newsletter. So we all three of us know, I swear to God. It's a mass failure. Director, who's literally been asleep at the wheel for years? You should know him because right now he does he's the second most influence current chair. CEO, Andy Owen, just apologized after her comments. I did not see. I did not see or hear. Theology did say caviar it was taken out of contact switch. Yeah. Other context is there than there was no. Oh he's yeah. Get off. Kitty Island was very clear. So Mike is a rotation player about 567 overall. He's The others we've talked about. He's overall relatively mediocre, but here's a prediction for you, Mike. Boomerang is a boomerang that future CEO of Miller Knowles. How old is he? He's in his like late 50. Oh, yeah. Or 60 gamer action. Absolutely. Yeah. So I'm predicting Here, and Now, Andy, because Andy signor last, right? To be that angry at your employees on video, something must be going wrong in her job, right? Some there's some sort of 4.98 million dollar bonus. So something's going, right? But established you don't have to do anything as a US CEO, it doesn't matter what you screw up. You're getting that money, so I how bad could she be feel like Angry. We know that, you know what I, you know bothers me about this story is that I feel like people are gonna be like oh because she's a woman emotional and blah blah accordingly in the way down here. What did it have to be a woman? But Courtney was that one of the two things he said in the way down. The one was, let's save all our talking to I know that's in front of other people. It. All right. Last up on the quiz of all quizzes. Who the f is that? This one is a layup for Damien. Oh, Read Hoffman. Read Hoffman, I don't know. Jesse, this trigger something tasting. No, not reading Hastings, easy to confuse, I know, but this should trigger something in your brain because he popped right off and a lot of places. and, Think. The only social media that we understand at this company right at it. Oh, we understand we were not even on, right? I just read about him. Oh no, this was the, there's an I thought. So I thought Al Alexis Ohanian. Yeah and was the only founder, but then I ride an article about how red it's upset that you're talking about Reddit. We don't understand that. You think he's the secret founder of you? Think we understand? We don't know. We don't understand take that's counting that. What's the social media grandparents? Used Facebook know? Well, I'm not selling this up. Well, other great. All right, I'm Gonna Save all of you. He is the ex CEO of LinkedIn. He's got LinkedIn. He's the ex founder of LinkedIn, LinkedIn. Bhatt LinkedIn. Microsoft know. Well, he's currently on the board of Microsoft. He's also on the board of Aurora Innovation. Joby Aviation. Wow. He's been on the board of a couple of things. Um here's why I chose him because we have talked over the last three, four weeks about the terror that is chat GPT, right, read. Hoffman is on the board of Microsoft. He is on the board of openai so there's your link to Microsoft. It's pretty quick Sam Altman. Open AI chat GPT that group. He's on the board of that group. The other companies, he's on the board of include Aurora. Innovation, Aurora Innovation does self-driving cars? Using AI? Joby, Aviation does taxiing flying taxis using AI? Didn't Joby? Just fail aren't Joby? Just, I believe they just crashed something. Okay. Um, but here's the reason why I picked him because he's the quiet, man, on the board of all, the companies that shoulder terrorize, because no one knows who read Hoffman is the most influence, he has about 12%, which he has on the board of Aurora, I believe, but he's got his finger in every AI pie, if we are terrified of AI, Shouldn't we be calling up Reed, Hoffman and being like you're on the board of the largest, right? We should be raining in letters, right? We should know his name. I could write all. We could get, we could get chat, GPT, write the letter for. Yeah. And maybe we go taxi to like fly it to him. Okay. I'm not sure that's how letter writing works. But no, we just call it. Call the taxi, put the letter in it, on it. What are these taxes? Look like? And then here we can, that's a lot of our budget currently. That's all I've got for who the f is that? I want to thank our participants, Courtney cookie. The money was Damian claims Victory because he got one because I have because I wanted a half and let's be honest. Damien spent 20 years in this field he got one out of five at least 30 hours. Yeah that's called selling. If you want to buy what we're selling, go check out free float, LLC or call us or hit us on, not LinkedIn on Reddit. Apparently, which is where we do all the social media and I didn't know about it. All, I don't think we have very quickly. I don't Until tomorrow, goodbye.
