Live. It honestly, it sounds like you're dying every time dead. Oh Yeah, from your favorite Cemetery. Oh, it's the Halloween of Live from the national Center for Public Policy, researchers men's only bathroom. Oh, Well because you know only men work there right, do they need isn't it just called the bathroom if it's all men live for the national Center for Public Pools bathroom. Yeah. Only ESG at Jason game show ever. Yeah, we're the only ESG game show ever right. I think that's a title that's not going to be in dispute. The only good business pants, Thursday, featuring Ari the data Queen back from the Moon. And Bs man. Matt mascardi. In today's Twitter explosion which is about a month. Almost a almost exactly a month. After the SpaceX explained how seriously wow called May 25th 2023. Another game of who the f is that the game show where we ask what, you know about the people who actually run the companies that we buy? Crap. Wow. That sounds so much more exciting than it actually is. Let me tell you something. I went back in time is that To copy. I went back to copy the the opening show. You know, that intro from the last time we did, who the f is that? And it said in today's SpaceX explosion so it's like perfect timing. Oh, wow. You didn't have to write anything new. No, it was just the same old on us. Pretending to know what he's doing and having things go wrong. Same over. When does the new CEO start? Does she start? Yeah. This like last. Week. I'm gonna say, I mean, I already know that this was her fault, that's what I know, right? That's the glass Cliff but work, is that what you're saying? That's the peanut brittle, Cliff is what I'm calling it for her, because there's definitely, no clasp. Underneath her glasses way too strong for what she standing. True. Okay, so are we ready? Yeah, ready to play. Who the f is that? All right, let's excited. I don't have to host. Yeah. all right, first up We have five people here and you have to guess who each of them are. And if you haven't played this game pictures, know your pictures know because I don't have that kind of time. I'm a real person with a real job. If you don't, if you've never played this game at home, Good for you. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to read out the names of different directors. You have to guess what, company, they're a director for, and then I'm going to tell you why I chose that person. They're almost always associated with a headline that's in the last week. Okay, so here we go. Play this game before. Are, you know, just exciting I needed. Actually, you should probably be better than even me because you're in the day to all the time, you should know. These are, you should run this game really. But yeah, or he has no interest. No pressure, no pressure. All right, first up is Sir. Andrew McKenzie, love me. No. Sir Andrew go first cuz I know the answer. Are I'm gonna say oh boy but you read the headlines. Every you wasn't there. He wasn't in the headline. The company was you cover him in your data, in your, just guess the company. Well, you know what country is Tesco Tesco? It's a solid guest. Damian was the wrong my people. Allows it, that's even closer. I think it's Royal Shell at is correct. It is shell, shell PLC. It's not Royal show, it's just normal. It's now Royal shell because you're behind the times. Sir, Andrew McKenzie, sir. Sir. Is a formerly, the BHP CEO, Rio Tinto mining executive. Now, the chair of the shell board. The stats on him, he's got 11% influence, just 11% for a chair, that's pretty low, his tags include scandalous. So, this is New Classic show. We actually take every director of the entire world, in tag them based on attributes that they have performance. At me, scandalous means they bat less than 250 on controversies. Basically, they just go from company to company in their older companies are terrible. He's the chair. I mean it's not that hard to win this game. He is an influencer. Meaning, he Grady greater than 50% of his board years, he's had 10% influencer more. I know nobody, he's not a nobody, he's a power, he's a guy with power on boards and he's a power broker, meaning his Network, he knows people, he knows the people, he knows the collective network is worth 50 trillion or more in power when you when your name is Sir, I guess you do know. So you know you know somebody all that said that stupid title sir. Andrew is a benchwarmer overall he bats a solid 330. He's getting killed. What is bench? Warrant means he's below average benchwarmer. So if you just think of like so you got Hall of Famers you got that they're like they bat like exceptionally well over. I think they're in that 900 range right? Like yeah they're super hard to get all stars and then you have like you know, normal starters and rotation players. Now, benchwarmer is that's the dude that you call in. Like when all like everyone else just died from Dengue virus you call the bench warmer and you step you have them step in for performance. Here's why he's in the news. Shelly CEO shielded by security as climate protesters, try to storm shareholder meeting yesterday's show. Damian had his play tape of Sir, Andy trying to quell the protesters. Let's play that tape again, shall we? Do we want to listen to one more time? Let's listen to, I Love It. This is what Andy had to walk through to get into the meeting. He's uninhabitable. I could excuse me. I I think we've heard your point. You've made it several times over. What is the processor? Say I would shell as hell. I say to the views of other other members of our of our shareholder Community, who would like to listen to their views shell. So that was Sir, Andy asking, like, look what I like, how you say shell? I think it was. I shouldn't be. I say shell. You say hell yeah, that's what he said. That's what he said. I think he did say yesterday in yesterday's show, I like this because he looked at all the other. Like he said, I want all the shareholders to be able to have a turn. He was so inclusive. He was like, he was he embraced diversity inclusion. I say something to his credit, Matt. It says in his bio on the show web page, that sir, Andrew is also a committed champion of gender balance. Yes. And then I go to our data. Yeah, I go to our board savior metrics data in indeed. In fact, half the board at Shell is women. And not only are they 50% of the body count, they represent 53% of the influence, so they have. So he's not actually true. Yeah, but I'm I added this fun note about this has less to do with shell, but it has to do with someone something in general. I heard on the grapevine from some people that we know that there's a new move for a company and the boards, what they're doing is they're making their heads of sustainability committees. Women. Just so they well they do this all with other committees too whenever they do something controversial like controversial comp controversial nominations. And in this case you know Carbon and all those issues they make the head of the committee, a woman so they can't vote them out for diversity reasons. They don't that's not going to stop strive. Well, they don't know how powerful strive is with national Center for Public Policy, research pulling in point zero, zero nine percent of the vote like sees a woman on the board and thinks well that is not represent Excellence. That represents a woke diversity. I know I don't know why women can't be excellent. Although it is worth saying that the head of shells sustainability, committee is Catherine Hughes whose prior experience in sustainability includes head of oil, sands development from husky energy and the head of exploration at Nexen energy. So she basically digs for shit, And that's what makes it ahead of State sustainability. Well, just to show everyone that women can be just a shity as men. Yeah, congratulations. Okay. Next up in, who the f is that? So that was someone else that was the layup, you know. Here's where it gets harder. Next up, is Bill Helman, the fourth. William, Hellman William. Okay, look at me. I'm thinking mayonnaise. Initially. I was thinking Hillshire Foods, but I don't know who that. Oh, yes, love that. Is that an actual company? Is that a corporation know? I don't know publicly traded but I like it. Yeah, it sounds like a sausage. Okay. I'm gonna I'll go first. This time, are you? I don't have. One single clue. I'll just gonna throw it a name. How about Heinz? What about Hinds. I was thinking mayonnaise okay I'm gonna give that crap time oh a good. Everyone got it wrong. Okay, so he's actually GPA Greylock Partners, which is where Reed Hoffman said, makes all his AI Investments. He is on the Ford Motor Company board. He's the head of Fort sustainability committee on that board, 1% influence because Ford family. Obviously I'm just tags are power broker. He's a rotation player. He about 428 mostly just because he avoids controversy. His Ibotta is 249 and his TSR is 228. So he sucks at both earnings and shareholder returns show me the money, Mr. Hellman, the fourth speaking of controversy, this is why it's in the news. Ford Motors commercial accused of destroying 120 years of American history and one minute, according to the National posts, tell me about it. That's why they said it one minute. Here's what they did that destroyed. 120 years of American History, they had a commercial for pride month where a Ford Raptor, which is a truck had a rainbow detail on it. That was it. That was the Whole thing. Wait what, what's the? What are they? Destroy two Raptor, Ford, Raptors are driving and a muddy Fields. They're covered in. One was destroyed exactly. The destruction is coming. They're driving along. One of them goes through this. Spring water from an amorphous location and it says this red Raptor, beautiful truck. And the other one goes through this giant like lake lake puddle and comes out. And It has rainbow rainbow has a rainbow on holding this, is this an anti-wolf sentiment? Is that what this is? Yes. Yes, because they were celebrating his ride yet. Destroyed rainbow just in 20 years of American History. Not hard history not before they didn't because that's how long for it's been around. They didn't say Ford history, they said American history. That's the headlines. So bizarre, can I tell you something? I just found Matt 29% of this company. The directors have a suffix. Hey wait a minute. You're you're front right? You you're gonna talk about that. 72% of the board power is generational suffixes the third Jon Huntsman Jr. Jim Farley Jr. And William Hellman, the force that's correct. It's a bit odd. It's a bit odd. Can I just add a junior doing what that means? Then you get in. Well, what's on about that is the Ford family is looking at other families who have like generations of the same name and just bringing them on the board, that makes sense. Um, so that's, that's why I picked Bill Helman. So, are you ready for next? The f, is that, I think I'm gonna get this one. Isn't this the greatest game you've ever played? Yeah, I actually like it. I might well, thank you, work. You work for us. I mean, it's so cute. Yeah, you're right. My slack, you and be like, hey, go play that game. One right now. One-on-one, right? I love this game mostly because it means I don't have to do as much. Yeah, you just showed up. What did you do all day? Actually, what we had a, we had a great recording this morning. We have a Treasury for State Treasurer, showed up at our corporate theater to at a list of Corporation and they had to pick whether they're a woke or not was a great record woke or not woke great recording. Look for well that's a better game than this. We should have played that. Oh, it was exhausting. It was exhausting. Next up is Grace Puma. Now, her married name is Whiteford but she goes by puma in the data, sometimes it's white for it. Sometimes it's Puma. So I'm gonna give you both Grace Puma Whiteford a Grace Puma. Directors, who get married and changed their names are the vein of my existence sometimes. I'm gonna go with tapestry. Wow. Left field. There that's gets a big negative. I have to think of, I'll just go a company one. One thing in the news, you just pick a company. You're gonna go with Target Target? Okay. I like that. That's a good guess. I'll say Morgan, Stanley. I have no clue. No, it's not Morgan Stanley. It is Target actually, back Target. Well, after we made fun of tapestry, you manage to nail that really into the T, sound all right, Grace Puma slash Whiteford actually she goes by Puma on the website. So I'm going to go with Puma, that's her real name. She is the Executive Vice President and CEO at Pepsi current Target board members. She sits on the audit and risk committee. Her stats include 2% influence, she's nobody, she's got not much power there. Her tags are a power broker. She knows a lot of people and she's an All-Star, she bats 6:35 with TSR at 7:06. She is making shareholder money everywhere. She goes, and she's in the news because Target removes some lgbtq merchandise from stores ahead of June pride month after threats to workers. Here's why I chose Grace. Because she has so little influence but I thought this was pure comedy. she is the only target board member, the only Who Target when they release their, you know, proxy. They have a skills Matrix, like all the things that everyone's an expert and everyone's an expert in like almost everything it's bananas. Like, oh don't tell me. Don't tell me only board member that has no skill at reputation management is great, the only one and this seems like squarely. So I actually think we can blame this entire Fiasco on her. She doesn't have any reputation management skill according to Grace. She's also the newest director on the board. She's been there less than a year less than a year but still no. She was Pepsi. She was the CEO Pepsi. She couldn't manage the reputation of a company. Well if you listen to corporate theater next week, you'll hear that we do. Talk about Pepsi Pepsi is a woke company. Did you realize that is Directors, and Doritos. And and also Target is also wok and we covered this yesterday. They're born, is it still won't? Yeah, well, they're bored includes. Derek. A rice from Disney and Monica Lozano from Apple. These are these are Woke companies, woke boards. They have no power gap for the women, they have a slight positive diversity, power Gap as in diverse cohorts have a little more power than representation. I just think that this is not forget what CEO, Brian Cornell said this and he said, you know, the nine years of growth fueled by Dei, that's what he said. Yeah. Wow. Which is odd. That, that week ended with them pulling lgbtq. Well, it's to protect their workers. All right, I suppose. Yeah. I think we'll probably why I said they should arm their workers. Oh, they only they did most of this in the South where they could arm their workers just like teachers, we are teachers, why not Target Bears, my gun to Target. Never know when there's a rogue Bear. All right. Next up, this one should be easier. Oh, okay. That means you're both kind of fell. This miserably. Anne Mulcahy. Oh this name is going to hurt you because it's so vague. Familiar I draft. I drafted animal, Kay. Did I know I believe. You might have. Yeah. Like so your team is so good. I already forgot. What came, he sounds a cargo Chicago business, Mafia woman. I'm gonna go with a Dopey. Dopey a Toby could guess except not. Go ahead. Keep guessing until I get it right to stop. I'll go, I'll go GM. I just don't remember, oh, close, but not close. All right, and okay. He is the EXO of Xerox. She's one of, the only CEOs to have ever started in HR, she started in HR, like 1975. One of my predictions once that I think is failing. Yeah, go ahead. Um, she is the lead director at Johnson and Johnson, that's it. And she's all so the chair of the nominating committee and she's on the finance committee and she sits on the consumer health committee. She has a whopping 20% influence higher than the CEO, which I didn't know that was true Johnson & Johnson, the CEO. There is a power Gap after Gorski left. I believe it was gorski's there, right? Alex gorsky. Yeah. Alex gorsky I think he was the CEO, right? She the new CEO has a has actually less power than animal. Kay. He is an influencer a power broker and an All-Star. She bets 596 almost straight through the board in the 500s. And why is she in the news? Because this had a line Band-Aid is the most trusted brand in the US right now. Amazon, and Visa So here's what I want you to do. Amazon is trusted. Yeah of visas trusted like people are like you know what? I trust. I'm taking out credit. We'll find the Amazon is mostly reliable. I guess right, though. People use it all the time. Are you? It shows up. I know you say. I was at Ari's house for like, two days and there's a lot of 45 bosses Amazon. So clearly reliable. All right. Well, what I wanted to do is, I want to connect a brand with a face, right? Like so, Band-Aid is the brand people trust. Then, this is the most influential person on this board. They actually, trust and Mulcahy. She's also the director there with the longest tenure 13 years. And she's that means she's seen, you can trust her because she Not only was probably okay with them shipping talc to babies asses, but she helped negotiate the towel settlements. Can you pay out? Yeah, so everybody wins. She's also connected to fully a quarter of the board. So she's a little bit of a crony. So that's who you're buying. That's who you trust people band-aid and locate. They should start selling Band-Aids with her face on them. I 100% agree with that, and if I could get down agreement with our product, maybe with Sportsman, Elementary School licensing, it dealer We'll work on that. Last your last call. You made it to the end. Here's the last person. And this is a fast one. John Hennessy. Oh wait, isn't there a company that's in the liquor? You can guess the liquor, I don't even know but yeah, Heineken know. I'm gonna guess just because there's a liquor name. How about Molson chords know? All right, we both went Liquor on that one. No, and no. Everyone went liquor just because his last name is a liquor here in the database. All right, how many are now? Here. God over 100,000 know. It's too hot 2000 at this point, so we can't be expected to remember. John had his emails. That's my point. Well, maybe you should be expected to remember, John Hennessy, because John Hennessy is the chair of the board at alphabet. Google. Oh, is that right? I know, I would not have remembered, the I don't, that's why I picked him. I wrote in my notes, this I literally wrote this in my notes. I had no fucking idea. He was a chair of the board and for a long time, right? For a long time, he's been the president. He was the president of libertarian University Stanford for a Year's. Well he is considered the Godfather of Silicon Valley. He's been there forever. You know why we don't remember that because it doesn't matter at alphabet, which brings me to the headline. Shareholder advisory firms. Call for alphabets chairs ouster. Okay. Who cares ISS and glass Lewis literally came out and said like, vote out that guy. It doesn't mean he's 3% influence. It doesn't make a difference. It's a control company. What is it even do when he shows up there? What do you what do you do? Not to mention that they're both under 50. I mean there's gonna be there forever. I mean like I don't understand what the expectation here is. You'd think that ISS and glass Lewis would have figured out by now that their voted visor is a Google, they should just write vote, however, the fuck you want, it doesn't matter. Like, why do you even have an advisory? I mean, they're Tesla advisory thing. What to do? That was pretty disappointing, as well, JB Strobel. Yeah, I'm a little sad with that, that's it. That's who the f. Is that another? I got one right. Got one that that. Yeah, you got the first one. Yeah. He got the first one. You got two. You got, you got for all the tape. Tapestry, that's all we got. That's Damien Morales. All right, the day to Queen, I'm full of BS. We are free float. If you like this, send it to someone write a review. Give it a rating do something by day. By the data talked about all shows. Everything to go do that until tomorrow. Goodbye.
